Does anyone else fw the idea of Kai just being incredibly embarrassing for Nya, Lloyd, and Wyldfyre.

Like Lloyd completes one (1) simple task like finishing laundry and Kai’s yelling “YOURE DOING SUCH A GOOD JOB! I’M SO PROUD OF YOU!” to Lloyd’s dismay

or Nya comes back from a successful mission and he’s bragging like “GUESS WHAT MY LITTLE SISTER JUST DID????” As she’s just wanting to unwind and rest.

Or Wyldfyre gets a move or stance down that he was teaching her and he insists on taking a photo of her. He puts it on the fridge and shows it to everyone, like “LOOK AT MY STUDENT GO!!”

I think we as a fandom should make him more annoying.

Rogue and Arin Mentor-Student Arc when?

That poster that we saw for s3, someone on twitter pointed out that all the mentors and students were right next to eachother with the mentor in front and student in back

Kai and Wyldfyre

Lloyd and Sora

Cole and Frak potentially

And who's on the other side next to eachother?

Rogue(Jay) and Arin

Wonder if Rogue mayhaps becomes his mentor? Maybe Rogue helps him master spinjitsu the correct way since he was the first ninja to master it?

I'de eat it up especially if Arin indirectly helps Rogue regain memories via this weird mentorship

And it would be an interesting twist cuz we have all been led to believe that Lloyd would be Arin's mentor so to have Rogue take on that role and somehow better would be interesting

And when I mean better I don't mean to say that Lloyd is a bad Mentor cuz he clearly was able to help Sora

I mean maybe Lloyd isn't the mentor that Arin needs. Arin clearly wasn't blossoming under Lloyd the same way Sora has and maybe that was made for a reason beyond him eventually joining Ras.

I dunno I just think that dynamic would be interesting

am I the only one who thinks about “evil” jay and “evil” arin too much

Idk how to explain it but actually a good duo . Ever since jay lost his memory every one is expecting him to be something else or do something for them without him having a word in the matter, meanwhile arin had stopped expecting anything from the ninja ( including jay because arin would probably still see him as a ninja ) and other than a “we’re are my parents” and jay either knowing or not , arin would actively not want or even not care about jay . Which could cause mixed feelings because apparently this kid knows who I am and he just … doesn’t care , and it’s a first ! I think I find it funny because I like to imagine jay being mad at whoever wanted to use him and arin is mad at the ninjas and he still sees jay as one , because he might not remember but he still is to him , but to jay this kid is the only one who doesn’t want him to be something he doesn’t even remember , so in a way he kinda cares for him . Idk I feel like it be fun to watch

Hc that as a kid Jay had so many more freckles bc he was always outside and exposed to the sun, but he gets less when he becomes a ninja bc he’s either gaming inside like a loner, or his face is covered with the mask. ALSO, Jay had curly hair as a kid, then hc that he got made fun of at school a lot, like living at a junkyard and his hair, so he straightened it, but Jay s8 embraced himself,, I love this guy :( come back

Also, Jay eyebrow notch was a dumb childhood injury, he probably either did it on purpose as a tween to look cool or he like zapped himself, he’s so stupid

Also, he was a lot more tan as a kid too, got a bit paler as he grew up, but when he joined the administration he got even more pale bc I don’t think that guy ever stepped outside, bless him lol.. but anyway that was me deeping every aspect of Jay’s design to have lore to it

Ok I have a headcanon that Wu recruited Jay, Cole, and Zane way before he managed to get Kai. (I headcanon that Jay and Cole were around 11-13) And I just realized that it must have been so funny for Wu to train these two literal children and then this 40 year old nindroid. I also think jay and cole's reactions would have also been priceless. I love the OG three so much and I wish we could have gotten more of their dynamic before kai joined (no hate to kai, i love him too)

Evil Jay is Kinda a Sad Character, but Maybe Not in the Way You Think

When a lot of people think of the inherent tragedy of Post-Merge Jay, many of the common things they point too is the loneliness, isolation, and loss of everything he used to care about due to his amnesia. With good reason too, because its not just tragic how he used to have a wonderful life and he can't remember it or how he's in the worst possible position right now (alone and with a Shattered Soul, whatever that may entail), but its also tragic because everyone that cares about him are powerless to do anything to help. Even if they find him, I'm confident that its not gonna be as easy as a heartfelt reunion.

Something that I don't see many people talk about that I think is rich in that sweet, sweet angst and drama is the fact that right now, nobody wants Jay for who he is. It's an idea I've been thinking about a lot, and kinda why I'm so interested in the concept of this "Evil Jay".

What I mean about that is this... Nya and the other Ninja want the Jay they knew from before the Merge. Ras only wanted Jay to further stack the deck against the Ninja in the Tournament. Arin only wanted to go after Jay because he could have some insight on where his parents ended up after the Merge. And presumably, the Administration only wants/wanted Jay because he was a good enough Agent to get promoted to middle management.

The consensus of many fans seems to be that Jay has trouble with how he sees himself, but what about this version of Jay? When one of these parties eventually finds him, do you think they're gonna ask him how he's been or what he's been up to? Or do you think they're gonna try and get him to do something for them, whether that be giving up some information or becoming someone he doesn't remember?

Ras sees him as a tool to be used and discarded when needed, Arin sees him as a means to an end, The Administration most likely sees him as their property, and the Ninja see someone who he doesn't even remember being.

At this very moment, no one wants Jay Walker for who he is.
