Present Mic being a very well know person. Hero, radio host, and a teacher at UA? Hell yeah people know him. He’s such a well known person that many know both his hero name and his real name.

But he’s not a high ranking Hero. He’s somewhere in the tripple didgets. The reason being is that he almost never goes on patrol - his agency and others prefer him to stick to his djing to make a name for himself. So many look at him and his quirk and go, “Voice hero? He screams at people? Lame. At least he’s fun.”

But here’s the thing. The reason he never patrols is because his quirk is devastating. He opens his mouth and windows shatter, foundations crumble, peoples ears start bleeding and their hearing, vision, and balance immediately goes to shit. Sure, his directional speaker helps, but standing too close to him when he uses his quirk is still dangerous. So as a Hero?

Present Mic is only called in for two reasons. First, as a last resort - the fight with the villains has gone to shit and well at this point might as well risk the damage to the inner ear to end it.

Second? As the trump card.

The fact that many consider him lame or barely a hero means they underestimate him. They’ll see his leather get-up, his styled hair, and his big grin and just start laughing. Who is this guy? Gives us a real hero! And then he opens his mouth. And it’s game over.

Have you ever tried to defend yourself when you couldn’t see straight? Couldn’t hear? Couldn’t even lift an arm without getting so dizzy you puke? That’s what his quirk can do, and all with just his voice.

Present Mic doesn’t have to be standing or fighting or even especially good at fighting to take down an entire base of villains. He doesn’t need to be.

Someoka and Tobitaka have resigned and started to ask for more french fries (or if they are eating at home, they cook more than usual).   ❥ who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple: Sometimes Tsunami and Fudou often follow his joke. But I think they all prefer to make things clear to avoid misunderstandings (Stuff is clear between them all. I mean other people misunderstanding their friendship). ❥ who has to bust or bail the other out of jail: Mhm, I can't really think about a situation when they went to jail. But in the hypothetical case. Probably, Someoka or Tobitaka. If they all are in prison they would probably call Endou. ❥ who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues: I guess we all agree that Tobitaka is the best one of them all about advices + comfort (in general). Someoka is more like the kind of friend that would hear all your problems/ support you. Fudou is like, in the middle, he isn’t good like Someoka or Tobitaka but he’s always there to give you advice or hear your problems if you ask. Tsunami, even if he may look like "Just because I'm dating Tachimukai doesn't mean I know how I did it" he actually can surprise you with nice advice. ❥ who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes: Tsunami.  ❥ who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk: Tsunami. I don’t think that Someoka or Tobitaka really cares about it...? and probably prefer the bottom bed. And Fudou doesn’t mind about it, unless it’s a pull-out bed. ❥ who starts and who wins the pillow fights: Tsunami usually starts the fights, but I think they all can win tbh, it’s depents. ❥ who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush: I feel like I’m answering Tsunami and Fudou a lot but IJDASOIDA THEY WOULD DO IT. Someoka and Tobitaka are more chills and discrete about it.

Toramaru and Tachimukai:

❥ who steals french fries off the other’s plate: Both, but not just with french fries. When they want to annoy the other they even stole the strawberry of their cake. ❥ who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple: Neither. I really can’t see them joking about it. Like with the previous answer, I think they would prefer to avoid misunderstanding. ❥ who has to bust or bail the other out of jail: Neither. The only way I can see them in jail it's because they were "Disturbing the peace" cause someone insulted their senpais. They are both good boys. ❥ who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues: Tachimukai. Even if he didn't really have many experiences I think he still can help him with it!  And of course, he'll be there if Toramaru needs someone to talk about his problems/need comfort. Toramaru I think is more like a supportive friend that would encourage Tachimukai when you need it. ❥ who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes: Both. Probably Toramaru started but then Tachimukai pays him back in his own coin. (I think that is the expression? well, Tachimukai started to do it too after Toramaru did it first!) ❥ who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk: Toramaru. I think Tachimukai doesn't mind so he leaves him to have the top bed. ❥ who starts and who wins the pillow fights: Toramaru starts the fights, but they are tied about who usually wins. ❥ who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush: Talking about GO, I think Toramaru would do it to annoy Tachimukai or when he wants to give hints to Tsunami because he's tired that the old guy didn't realize about Tachimukai’s feelings.

i don’t know if it’s just my dash today, but i’m seeing a lot of people who are thinking about writing or who WANT to write but are nervous about how good it will turn out and/or its reception by the fandom and i know i’m not as active on here as i used to be, but i just wanted to tell everyone this simple fact:

I have never regretted any stories I have ever written down.

I mean obviously you don’t regret the fics that do well, that people like, but please believe me when I say that I can go back and get the same sense of joy, of satisfaction, of damn fandom should have appreciated this more for fics that only ever got 150 notes. I certainly do not regret writing them.

I wrote a novel a few years ago that took months of my life, only for me to re-read it at the end and think “you know, this isn’t actually that good.” but never for a second do I regret having written it. (And really, I should go back and give it another try at some point, I was probably being too hard on myself).

I do not regret the MULTITUDES of fics that are sitting in my google drive, abandoned because I decided they weren’t quite good enough to post or because I lost steam halfway through. I still do not regret them. I like re-reading them periodically.

I do not regret the fics I wrote when I was like 14 or 15 (for context, im 30 now). Looking back, I can no longer say they are my best work, but I can see the seeds of the writer I would become. And, though the form and style are simplistic (compared to what I can do now), the story is still exactly what I wanted it to be. 

I recently cleaned out my childhood bedroom and found notebooks and notebooks filled with fantasy stories I wrote when I was in middle school. And, you know what, I sat and skimmed through them and in reading some of them, memories of what was going to happen came back and god, they were terrible, so bad, so many spelling errors, the most flat, stereotypical characters, but I do not regret them. I am slightly embarrassed by them, I would not let others read them, but I sat there reading with a smile on my face because I wrote them down and they are my stories. 

All this to say, honestly, you will not regret writing your stories.

But you know what I do regret? I regret all the stories I never wrote down. I regret that feeling when I know I had an idea and I daydreamed it for months and I just never bothered to write it down. I regret a half-finished WIP where I know I knew the ending but just didn’t get to it. I regret, now, looking back at this past year and know that I fell off writing a little bit. I regret not writing more. Because I love writing. And more importantly, I freaking love reading what I wrote. 

I love when all the characters act exactly as you want them to act and the story goes where you want it to go and I love when you’ve actually forgotten a line or a scene and you go back and you’re like “DAMN THATS GOOD” and even if it’s not good, if it’s the story you wrote when you were 7 about three dogs named Freddie, Teddie, and Eddie who fought a villain whose name was LITERALLY Mr. Mean, you will still love it. 

So, please, PLEASE: Write your story.

I promise you will not regret it.

So, I feel like confessing something,,,

I don’t like Fudou portrayed as a punk.

I never liked it since the very early 2000s fashion choices of the show, it just didn’t feel right to me, something seemed out of place. And then Outer Code came around and finally I knew.

To me, Fudou dressed a certain way because he had no money to spend on trivial things like nice clothes, plus, he had to survive on the streets of a darker side of town and to deal with all sorts of bad people.

He couldn’t simply do that with a nice looking cardigan, could he?

He had to adapt to the habitat he was living in, much like a chameleon does to protect itself. Some things stayed with him, of course, he still was power hungry and ready to do anything but that is a completely different point from his fashion style of choice!

Yes he has a sharp tongue, is a sarcastic lil shit and surely knows how to pick a lock or survive in a fist fight, but those are all things he HAD to learn, not ones he actively choose to learn. Same thing goes for fashion choices.

I honestly headcanon for him to always have looked longingly at the windows of the nice shops uptown, secretly wanting for nothing but to relax in a fitting room with something more colourful, something that could make him feel like he didn’t have to always look mad at everything.

In this new universe he somehow had some more money and what did he do?

He bought white, purple, nice looking outfits almost all without any trace of punkness in them and he went to the hairdresser, not a barber shop, a hairdresser. And as far as the short tell us, he goes there pretty often.

So no, I don’t think Fudou owns a collection of knives or that he would wear black outfits or leather and dark makeup and overall be a street baddie because I don’t think that’s who he truly is.

He is someone who went through a lot and just wanted to sit back, wear pink, make his hair grow and help other kids like we saw in GO.

To me Fudou is yes sassy but also gentle as he writes love songs for Kidou on the acustic guitar. He knows how to send you k.o. but is happier cooking with Tobitaka. He was once a lone wolf but actually really love being sureounded by his friends. He wore cheap, dark looking clothes to be seen as someone to not mess with but just wanted to be a fashionista with lighter fun colours. He knows how to handle a knife perfectly but uses it only to cut gourmet food.

I know it’s funny to joke around and memes are cool, but I heavily dissociate from the heavy punk bad boy Fudou many seem to enjoy.

Not to say yall should stop seeing him like you do, take this as foor for thoughts and keep doing what you love. I know I’ll keep portraying him the way I always wanted, now that I can~

On regard of Mitsuru’s mental state

So, since I’ve seen some kind of discussion going on in regards of Ichihoshi possibly having mental illness, I decided to do some research and here’s my hot take on it:

He does, or at least, if the show wasn’t strictly for kids and didn’t magically cure illness without properly addressing them because of the sensitive target, then Ichihoshi would probably have a case of Depression+BPD

Why? Well here are some extracts that luckily will help you understand my point! If you’re triggered by mental illness talk I suggest for you to skip this post and blacklist the tag “mental illness” cause I will always put it in my posts about the matter and I don’t want for you to feel uncomfortable!

ON CHILDREN DEPRESSION

“Nadine M. Melhem, Ph.D., of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and colleagues identified 140 families in which one parent died of suicide, accident or sudden natural death. They were compared with 99 control families in which two parents were living and no first-degree relatives had died within the past two years. The offspring, ages 7 to 25, underwent interviews and assessments for psychiatric disorders. The results of the survey showed that children’s symptoms after the loss of a parent were depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal behavior and complicated grief (severe, lasting unhappiness).

The symptoms of depression in children vary. It is often undiagnosed and untreated because they are passed off as normal emotional and psychological changes that occur during growth.

Signs and symptoms of depression in children include:

Irritability or anger

Continuous feelings of sadness and hopelessness

Social withdrawal”

ON BPD

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). People with BPD are often exceptionally enthusiastic, idealistic, joyful, and loving.

However, they may feel overwhelmed by negative emotions (“anxiety, depression, guilt/shame, worry, anger, etc.”), experiencing intense grief instead of sadness,

shame and humiliation instead of mild embarrassment, rage instead of annoyance, and panic instead of nervousness.”

ON DEPRESSION+BPD

“the quality of depression seems to be different in BPD. For example, whereas depression is typically associated with feelings of sadness or guilt, depression in BPD has been described as being associated with feelings of anger,

deep shame (i.e., feeling emotionally like a bad or evil person),

loneliness, and emptiness. Further, depressed episodes in people with BPD are often triggered by interpersonal losses.”

Since Ichihoshi’s dad death and Hikaru’s hospitalisation occurred when he was very young, not older than 10 I believe, there are high chances of him developing both illness. Given that one of the environmental factors cause of BPD is being exposed to chronic fear or distress as a child and that the same goes for child depression, plus the fact that it’s possible for the two illness to coexist (as shown before) and that Mitsuru presents lots of the symptoms listed, I think it’s not too farfetched for us to believe so. Despite the fact that the show won’t address this matter, I believe that if we were to do realistic headcanons then we would not be in the wrong at all!

Highschool!KdFd headcanons (feat. Genda and Sakuma):

Irational sexual tension whenever they’re in the same room.

They’re basically young boys filled with hormones discovering sexual attraction and affection. Not only Kidou and Fudou, they all are.

Kidou is seen as the cool captain of the highschool soccer team, being a serious student and the student council president, but also a guy who knows how to have a good time during parties. People think he has a Time-Turner to be able to respect his weekly schedule.

Fudou is this “what-the-fuck-am-I-doing-here” guy who comes at school with one single pen and one single notebook but still manage to have very good grades. Genda is desperate when he sees Fudou’s results because he studies a lot when Fudou is always hanging out during the week end.

Kidou and Fudou like to “do guy stuff”, such as rugby tackles in the hallway, manly wrestling on the school lawn at lunch, arm-in-arm walking, ruffling the other’s hair. They try to look ‘no homo’ but they’re not fooling anybody (seriously, they think people are blind or what ?)

Fudou finds Kidou real hot with folded sleeves.

Kidou loves to mess Fudou’s soft hair and see him drawing back with his cheeks blushing slightly.

Sakuma is jaded to see them looking at each other’s butt when they think no one is watching.

Drunk wrestling in Kidou’s room during a party when everyone is in the living or on the pool terrace. The game turned into a hot, intimate moment when Kidou wrestled Fudou to the ground. In the haze of the moment they eventually kissed.

Awkward moments the next week because they’re not understanding what happened and why it happened (long on muscles and brain, short on emotional quotient). They finally agree about the fact they should blame it on the alcohol and forget about it.

They don’t forget about it.

Health class about shared sexual behaviors was the most embarassing thing ever.

Sakuma :“It’s a good thing Hata-sensei was in charge of health class this year. My big brother told me Okazaki-sensei is more old school, like, sex-is-evil kind of old school.”  Fudou : “Shut up Sakuma.”

Kidou and Fudou started doing “no homo” stuff again after agreeing on forgetting the kiss episode. They only did it in more private places, as if they unconsciously knew they were having a really intimate behavior.

“Try to kiss my neck” is their new favorite game with one of them knocking the other into the wall and trying to kiss his neck when the other is struggling to dodge. They’re only playing in the privacy of Kidou’s room.

Sakuma is pissed because SERIOUSLY GET A ROOM YOU’RE FLIRTING LIKE 24 HOURS A DAY

Genda needs Kidou to help him with math lessons and Fudou kinda sulks because they’re spending the whole week-end together. He tries to make Kidou jealous too and goes to Sakuma’s on sunday.

*knock knock knock* *Sakuma opens the door just a little* “Hey, Sakuma-kuuun~!” *door slams*

What is personal space ? Sakuma tries to explain the concept to Kidou and Fudou.

Fudou’s mother couldn’t come to the parents-professors meeting in school because of her work. Fudou goes on his own and meets Kidou, who was closing the student council meeting room. Kidou opens the room and takes Fudou in it, saying the student council has free snacks in the closet. They sit and talk for a long hour.

They tenderly kiss.

“What’s going on between us ?”

They decide to let things happen and end up in Kidou’s bedroom, kissing and holding each other tightly.

From then, regular sex in all kind of places -mostly their rooms but also once at school because Sakuma told them to FUCKING GET A ROOM

Genda : “Say, Kidou, are you in love with Fudou ? Or is it… only physical ?”

Love /lʌv/ :  (noun) a strong feeling of affection, (verb)  to feel deep affection and/or sexual passion for someone.

Kidou realises he’s in love with Fudou.

Fudou is so beautiful when he’s sleeping. Kidou feels lucky when the brunet falls asleep on his shoulder during lunch break.

“I think I love you”

Fudou knew it for a while now : they were doing everything like lovers, of course Kidou loved him. Of course, he loved Kidou as well.

Sakuma ; “Say, Fudou, are you going out with Kidou ?”

“I guess.”

Why do you like but not reblog?

It feels like the bare minimum in fandom to reblog stuff you like. It’s the easiest way to support artists/writers and guarantee they do more of that same kind of thing.

I thought of some reasons people might not want to reblog and I’m going to debunk them:

Reblog = repost and reposts are evil!!!

Reblogs are different than reposts. As long as the original post came from the artist, the artist gets the credit for it and that’s what they want. REPOSTS are when you find a piece of art you like, save it to your computer, and later make your own post with it, and that’s not cool

Reblogging is too much effort!!

It really, really isn’t. On mobile? Press and hold the reblog button. The post has now been reblogged. On desktop? Hold the alt key and then click the reblog button. Off it goes, letting more people enjoy the beauty of the post you just enjoyed yourself!

I don’t want to tag things though

So then...don’t? Just reblog it with no tags. You want to tag it later, you can. You never want to tag things? Cool, neither do I most times!

If I reblog things a lot, it’ll annoy people!

If people are following you, it’s for your content. If it annoys them, they can unfollow you. That’s on them. If you mean it’ll annoy the ARTIST if you go in and reblog their whole art tag...wrong, false, no, definitely not, they might even make more art specifically for you if you do that. Especially if you tag with ‘I love this piece because...’ and then give a reason why you love it, that is the most encouraging thing.

Reblogging doesn’t fit my blog aesthetic.

Idk what to tell you here, you’re in control of your aesthetic. Make a side blog maybe, reblog there and leave your main ‘clean’. Or vice versa. No reblogs = a quickly dwindling supply of art that people are willing to post.

Reblogging is an important part of fandom/tumblr community in general. It encourages more people to make more content which means more things for you to do/see/read.

It’s part of the fandom ecosystem; we have content makers and we have content viewers. Without makers, we have no art. Without viewers, there’s no reason to post it online. If viewers are limited, people start reconsidering whether to bother posting their art online or just share it with their friends they know will give feedback.

I live in Lebanon and the fiercest explosion went off in the midst of Beirut today, killing off an ungodly amount of human beings (more and more people are dying as I write this) and injuring up to 5000 people whose cases are immensely critical. Today,, at approximately 6 pm, hospitals were completely torn to shreds, people have been buried underneath fallen buildings, fires have been ignited almost everywhere, blood staining the streets in an excruciating manner, in addition to people that flew and fell to the sea due to the impact of the explosion. And it is certainly worth mentioning the millions upon millions' worth of damages what with buildings and cars and stores. Plenty of people are missing, it's an overall mess that is quite frankly very traumatizing.

What Lebanese people have been undergoing in recent times:

Lebanon has been going through a major economical decline that grows worse and worse by the day. The prices have heightened and the salaries remain the same, scarcely anyone has the capacity of affording basic needs anymore. There has been an unfolding revolution the past year, and the lebanese society has been protesting against the humiliation thrust upon our lives due to our miserable excuse for a government, and though the streets bled with thrashing, screaming citizens fighting for their utmost basic human rights, that caused mere to no change in the way things go around here, in fact, it only made it worse. We're being provided with, metaphorically, a droplet's worth of water and nearly no electricity, a pregnant woman has even passed away recently due to a heat stroke (as there were no means of cooling off)

What caused the setting off of this explosion?

The ignorance, heartlessness, and overall brutality of the government and the people in control.

A critical amount of chemicals (2700 tons of ammonium and other nitrates) were left inside a ship along the port of Beirut, and though the people in charge of this transaction were warned that heat and perspiration have the capability of destroying the whole of Lebanon in ode to a massive explosion, they refused to do anything about it and left the chemicals in there for years on end.

Up until, surprise surprise, the explosion went off and devestated Lebanon almost entirely.

I don't have much followers, and I know that this post isn't going to magically heal what is unfolding in this, priorly gorgeous, magnificent country, but I truly hope with all my heart that you find it within yours to spread awareness on this topic so that it would be more widespread,, so that Lebanon gets the aiding it deserves and the people from outer places slap the 'big bosses' awake, or at least pressure them into resigning, whatever it takes to make this place sufferable, tolerable, somewhere you can picture yourself residing in.

Lebanon is a place of infinite traditions, diversity, creativity, joy, and love. Most of the people here are open-hearted and wholesome. We all deserve far better.

My heart aches for the people that have passed away today, and I shall pray for the ones stuck in hellish suffering.

Who cheats at games:

Both but let me explain. When they are playing cards, Fubuki sometimes cheats just to be playful and because of it, Kazemaru "returns the response" cheating too.

Who borrows stuff and never returns it:

None. Kazemaru is too responsible and Fubuki...he may take longer in return it, after all, he lives quite far...but he'll do it eventually.

Who sends odd texts in the middle of the night:

Fubuki. Like as I said with Fudou, he loves to send memes. He knows Kazemaru's humor sense so if he sees a funny meme about it he would immediately send it to him.

GO Context: But if Kazemaru is kinda drunk, he would start to send Fubuki randoms facts about aliens or just talk with him about Aliens.

Who is more likely to get them into ridiculous situations:

Mhm, neither. 

Who makes it a habit of showing up at the other's house unannounced:

Mhm, none. I think they are the kind of friends that would send a message before appear out of nowhere.

Which one is the mom friend:

Kazemaru. In this house we stan "mom friend" Kazemaru. He's the one that stops Fubuki of be TOO honest with someone he shouldn't. 

Which one makes the other one sign up for those crazy food challenges:

Fubuki. He knows Kazemaru would join if he asks (and if the challenge isn't about to eat a big amount of food). I see them mostly joining the "Guess that food Challenge".

Kidou: *sighs* Explain to me how Genda broke his leg.

Sakuma: We were running downhill and a deer jumped in front of us, so I yelled, "Koujirou, deer!"

Kidou: Genda, what did you say?

I'm not sure if you do headcanons, but do you have any on Teres and Edgar? Like, their relationship. Because they are so rare. And you're awesome and one of the only people I found to have any content about them

I'm not someone that can write a long list but if some small headcanons are good for you...? 👉👈. Also, I recommend you to ask my friend @midorikawawas, she loves them and has amazing headcanons!

The first time Teres invited Edgar to eat roast lamb or cow, Edgar feels disgusted about how Teres eat the ribs. Teres is the kind of people that like to suck and bite it until the rib doesn't have more meat. He thinks Teres looks like an animal but eventually, he gets used to it.

Teres would try to dance Chamame, Cumbia or Cuarteto with Edgar. It doesn't matter if they look clumsy because Edgar isn't used to it and Teres exaggerate it just to makes it funnier, they enjoy it...that’s all that matters.

When their teams are playing the World Cup, they become pretty competitive and make jokes about the other's team. But once one of them is out, Teres/Edgar would openly support his boyfriend's team.

Edgar doesn't know if he's glad or not about understand Spanish because Teres loves to talks in a double sense just to annoy him. 

Genda: Tsuki! Hey. Have you seen the thing?

Lina: Depends on what "thing" you're talking about, Koujirou.
