Thinking about how Jeremy said something about people getting tired of the Trojans and never getting a red card and how people want the drama. Also how many posts I see about someone (jean, Jeremy, Cat, Lucas, etc) being the one to get the first red card...something something parallels...something something connections...
Being friends with people across the world is just arguing on which culture has a better take on breakfasts and not being awake at the same time.
i am so so sick of white gay ppl trying to make antiracism movements about them like if i see one more motherfucker on tiktok respond to a pocs video with the FUCKING “uwu but i have adhd and im gay / trans how can u say im not oppressed” like shut up this is not about u and just because u are queer does not negate the fact that you benefit from white privilege stay in your fucking lane and check urself
taken out of context, Goncharov is actually one of the funniest characters of all time.
he refuses to have sex with his hot wife. she invites him to dinner with Sofia (and was almost CERTAINLY going to propose a threesome) but he's like no thank you. i have to go stare into Andrey's eyes for 3 hours. he gets a motorcycle and crashes it 10 minutes later. he gives a eulogy at the funeral of a guy he killed. he picks a fight with a grandfather clock and the clock wins. his wife loses the mansion in a poker game because he was busy throwing a tantrum in his man cave and then she comes home and points a gun at him and he looks at her like a middle-aged suburban dad whose kids just broke the TV remote for the fifth time.

obsessed with the way that gothic horror is about horror but never directly. it’s not horrific because there’s a haunted house and that’s scary, it’s horrific because the monster isn’t a monster, it’s your grief, your loss, your pride, your desire, your fear. the monster skulking in the shadows, the darkness at the edge of the woods, the haunted house that is too broken to be a home—those are manifestations of events that grabbed onto the fabric of time in a fit of abject horror and clamped down so tightly that they couldn’t keep moving forward toward resolution and eventual dissipation like they were supposed to. it’s all about the scared child and the mourning mother and the hunger in your gut and the little emptiness in your chest at the end of the day. those things are all little horrors but you can’t approach them directly to understand them, so gothic horror gives us these little metaphors and says “here play with these for a while and see what you find.” and all of those metaphors need someone to go back to childhood to release them. you have to care, and be curious and clever, and look for a way to heal the hurt. you have to be so achingly human to survive in gothic horror
I would like to congratulate greta thunberg on being the only funny person on twitter
charlie dalton calls anything that inconveniences him homophobic and that's canon
ohhh the continued theme of trc/tdt relationships being doomed by the narrative right from the start and the characters being aware of that and trying to talk themselves out of loving their person but never being able to and then choosing love despite the fact that they know it’s inevitably going to end in a tragedy. i feel so so very sick. this is so sick
Got stung by a wasp (6 times) while tearing apart our old barn and I tied scrap fabric around my arm where it got stung and honestly? Feel like a hot video game avatar.
