can we get some lore on the superpower au

sweet Jesus I don't even know where to begin- I don't see the harm in letting the cat out of the bag. ill try and get a little bit of lore on each character [trust me when I say that I probably won't be shoving it all in this one post] so in this world, everyone has a super power but that doesn't mean that everyone is a superhero or villain or capable of doing such [that's pretty much the majority of what I stole from MHA . . . pretty much just the logic in the first episode] each scrybe has their own island still but instead of just being their temple they now have whole themed cities [that I'm going to hate myself for when I have to draw them] Leshys "city" [more like the countryside with dirt roads in a forest ] is a rural area. P03's city is based on new york. where there is literally no grass. no trees. and Is populated by a mix of humans cyborgs and robots. his city is very boxy and structured [you can catch a glimpse of it in Leshy's background] Grimoras city is sorta barron. emphasis on sorta. her island is the physical version of limbo. zombies, mummies, ghosts, and skeletons live on her island. [note: not everyone can see the ghosts] Magnificus's island is based on London England and Scottish castles. [and a bit of the harry potter movies. . . don't judge me creativity is hard] with brick roads and prominent rustic brick architecture. each scrybe still has their own "temple" FYI P03 and leshy still have their Factory and cabin respectfully. but grimora now has a mansion where she lives with souls trapped on the mortal plane. magnificus's tower was "jazzed up" to be a dormitory school for "gifted students" [pretty much a rip-off of harry potter and MHA]. , also p03 has more than a factory he also lives in a decent apartment with the uber bots [his siblings] AND THAT'S JUST THE WORLD THEY LIVE IN!!!! THAT'S ALL MY BRAIN CAN VOMIT TODAY---- oof feel free to ask for more or ask more specific questions. id love to answer more like this maybe even draw some shit out it would be fun!

I have made the unfinished boss! by far the one I'm most proud of. i feel like my character art of him still relates enough to the cannon to be recognizable. his power is to shape shift his face and his job in the factory is designing and drawing cover card art. his personality is like talking to a reflection. he often reflects the person he's talking to. his actual personality is actually very bland.

LORE TIME! HEAVY SPOILERS FOR THE PS5 UPDATE so in the superhero au Melter and Jimmy/James are the same person I took a lot of inspo from moon knight- but instead of the super cool troubled persona being the OG it's reversed where the dorky goody boy is the og. in this James was a pupil of Magnificus but Magnificus saw great evil in him. but convinced he could still save the child he pressed forward with the exam. but soon realized the exam would lead to the great evil that his premonitions warned about. he would soon "donate" James to the mycologist masking it as his exam when he really was trying to get rid of him. The mycologist would perform twisted experiments on him now with the new tech, thanks to the new scrybe P03. making the poor boy 75% robot. leaving his lungs [for his power] and his head another experiment the mycologist was to try and get him to kill. James was a pacifist not wanting to hurt anyone which was a problem if he wanted to be a ruby mage. so to "fix" him the mycologists would put him under shock therapy to try and were him down and get him to kill. eventually, it would work but only because of James having a psychotic break causing him to slip into a form of alter ego with no memories or name. who was willing to kill on demand and for fun. magnificus finding this out would want nothing to do with him and shipped him off to p03 who was a new scybe at the time and needed lackeys. to where P03 made him the melter and he would go by the nickname Mel. there is more lore. like his "spicey asma" and how the mox gems work in this AU specifically but I'm lazy so . . . another time another day.
