Out In The Desert All On His Own🏜

I don't usually share personal stuff on my Tumblr, but new posts will take a while since I won't be able to use my Tablet at the moment.

This past week I went to Annecy for the animation festival, and on the first night (last Sunday) the lithium battery in my powerbank overheated itself when we were asleep, causing a fire.

Me and my friends are luckily fine, and thanks to my brother who's a firefighter, I had the knowledge on how to deal with the batteries, which made it so that the damage to the room was minimal as well! Sadly the powerbank was in my backpack when it overheated, melting my headphones and backpack and setting fire to my sketchbook, luckily other important items like my wallet and a switch I had brought along were in cases that protected them completely from the fire, and my drawing tablet was able to get away with only a corner melted, but it will need to be fixed before I can use it comfortably again.

Replacing my items took a little while and was quite expensive but I'm happy it's all just stuff that was replaceable and no one got hurt nor any genuinely serious damage was caused, I'll probably won't be able to post much until my tablet is fixed so I just wanted to give everyone this update!

Hahhaha ofc ofc, they aren't really doing anything in specific, I personally enjoy conveying emotions in my art, because I think it's amazing how you can sometimes tell so much about a character in a single image, it's the magic in art for me personally.

And with PJO the inner emotions of characters are so amazingly written even when you're only able to read them through the eyes of Percy (in the first books ofc) and I really wanted to show the emotions Luke felt towards the camp after his first quest in contrast to young Annabeth who was all in all, even though she's smart, just a young innocent girl at the end of the day, with nowhere else to go besides the side of the one family member she has left after the loss of Thalia🫣🤭
