What’s wrong with people romanticizing perfectly harmless features like acne? What’s wrong with asymmetry of all things?

I never said there was anything wrong with romanticizing acne, and there isn't. Things can be asymmetrical, but I tend to like symmetrical and organized things.

After a lot of research and apple juice, I can (almost) sanely conclude:

I wanted to do some studying on spiders, and more specifically: jumping spiders, because Angel Dust is a jumping spider. For my fic writing, I wanted to learn more about the species.

It should have been obvious to me that he was a jumping spider based on his jumping skills we saw in Season 1, Episode 8, but I had to look it up to find out.

My point is, while I was investigating the wonders of these tiny crotch-spawns, I found out that some of them actually chirp.

Chirping for a spider is the equivalent of a cat purring. Spiders usually do it when they’re mating but they also do it when they’ve gotten comfortable around the environment they are currently in.

One problem during my studying however, is that the only spiders that really do chirp are wolf spiders…until I continued my journey.

There are MANY different kinds of jumping spiders that I do not care to name honestly, but I found out that some of them do in fact chirp!

I don’t know what kind of jumping spider Angel is, when I looked it up it wasn’t specific but just IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES OF THIS INFORMATION!

Also, more information I found on my journey is that because they have such great jumping abilities they are also called “leaping tigers”! How funny is that! 😄

How far I had to fucking dig to get this information. I guess people don’t really care that much about jumping spiders 😭

Another thing jumping spiders tend to do is singing. Again, only when finding a mate, more likely to happen than a chirp.

I like to imagine Angel’s voice is like a siren. It attracts folks but the only difference is that they’re entranced by the beauty of it and not just some sort of forced spell for fresh meat.

One last thing: Jumping spiders experience REM sleep. REM sleep is characterized by relaxed muscles, quick eye movement, irregular breathing, elevated heart rate, and increased brain activity. It causes them to dream a lot! This also means that Angel would probably be wiggling, shimmying, curling, and uncurling his limbs in his sleep. He'd probably be a nightmare to sleep with lmao. It basically just means Angel's a vivid dreamer.

I just thought these were nice facts about Angel's kind. Especially considering all spiders are different, I wonder if we'll ever get to meet different kinds of spiders, or if Angel's siblings, Molly and Arackniss are the same kind of spider as Angel.

Learning all about the behavior of cats and jumping spiders has been my favorite thing to do ever since I started hyper-fixating on HuskerDust. It makes their relationship all the more interesting :)

ATTENTION HUSKERDUST/ANGELHUSK SHIPPERS! Do I have your attention? Awesome.

Okay, hear me out:

We all understand Angel is going through a lot with his horrible boss, truama, constantly being exploited and such, and the comfort and reassurance and safety and love Husk gives him in the fanart and fics is great, I love that for him, don't get me wrong,..

BUT!

What about Husk's suffering? He's an ex overlord, hates his demon form, owned by Alastor, probably a war vet, and is pretty mentally fucked up too. So I ask:Where is Husk's suffering? When is it his turn to be the walking tragedy, the one needing saving, comfort, protection, and reassurance? When does he get to be huddled in a corner, all vulnerable? I'm not saying I WANT him to constantly go through pain, but maybe a moment where Angel and Husk fall asleep together and Husk has a nightmare? Angel comforting Husk after Alastor gets mad at him? Angel helping Husk with PTSD/shellshock? Angel helping Husk take care of himself? Angel taking care of Husk? THE OLD MAN NEEDS SOME LOVE TOO! All I ask is thay we let Husk be broken too. Pretty please?

EDIT 2:I'm pretty sure he's a war vet, with how he stands straight when Vaggie uses a military voice in ep 5 and spills coffee on himself, so I'm adding that part back :P
