One of these days I will gather enough courage and literate knowledge to speak about how a certain religion has negatively affected black people for so long without fear.

More WillMark based on the slow fanfic I'm writing 😗
Okay I'll admit...I like G3 Monster High, no, I loved it even. It managed to do something G1 Monster High couldn't do for me and that's not to bash G1 cause that will always be my number one but the way they address certain topics like therapy and queerness with such casualty makes the child in me feel so happy and seen.
I truly feel that if it wasn't a Monster High reboot series more people would've accepted it but because of its connection to the franchise people's nostalgia for the characters got the better of them and stopped them from enjoying it and seeing it as nothing more than a meaningless cash grab.
Her getting reverted back right before she gets executed makes me think of Gonta in a way and I feel awful 😭😭😭
I’m surprised no one’s pointed out how junko is there in the mini thh, so if imposters dead by chapter 3, Mikan would literally have a tiny junko with her and even if he’s not dead she would know she’s here. That feels like it would have a huge impact on how chapter 3 would go! Like would Mikan really kill and thus die for her beloved when her beloved is RIGHT THERE? It feels more likely to me that she still Did That to Makoto, but she’s not the killer, because her beloved is right there with her always! Maybe even literally sewn into her clothing. Which would be funny and gives me the mental image that Junko’s holding a small sign that reads “please get me away from her crazy ass I miss being able to walk”
(Mini Classmates AU Masterlist)
For this exact reason, I don't have Impostor dying until Chapter 4, lol! (I don't know whether I've said this yet, but my intention was for Impostor and Peko to do the honorable sacrifice murder/death in Chapter 4, instead of Nekomaru and Gundham.)
The tidiest way for everything previously said in this AU to still be true without getting too messy about the Mikan and Junko situation is to say that Mikan remembers her beloved and that her beloved was killed by Makoto but not that her identity is Junko. Just, that's the single omission in her memory.
BUT, it's way more fun to indeed get messy about the Mikan and Junko situation, so let's do that for at least this post, lol! (Whether it stays canon outside of this post remains to be seen, but I do love the idea.)
Because YES:
Junko having to deal with an obsessed, coddling Mikan is delightful! All of the weird attention she's been giving her cage of kouhais gets directed solely toward Junko.
There might be some amount of Junko using her or trying to manipulate her, but honestly I don't think there'd be much of it. She's already pretty far gone; Junko would find her boring.
Mikan showing her as much affection as is safe for a tiny person, if not more! Petting her head, kissing her face, tickling her tummy with a forefinger almost the size of her whole body...and perhaps squeezing her a bit too tight. Apologizing profusely if it hurts, but not really meaning it because she's accepting all kinds of feedback as positive. Junko is just biting and kicking Mikan's hands, she's playing dead, it's the best. (Lowkey kinda want Mikan to straight-up lick her, like a postage stamp.)
After all that, people are definitely going to feel bad for Junko. Like, they need to rescue this poor fashion model from Mikan's twisted affection. And Junko can play wounded gazelle so well.
A different character being the killer (also due to the despair disease) would be so fun. The trial would be so messy. Nagito would be so much more hostile toward Mikan than the actual killer.
This means Mikan sticks around and Makoto has to just know that she's still around. Nagito has reason to be super protective and cagey about Makoto even before the Remnants revelation.
Does Mikan stay in Remembering Mode for the rest of the killing game, or does she revert to amnesia after the trial and have to deal with the way everyone looks at her now? Maybe Makoto tries to encourage people to reach out to Mikan, but he can only do so much when Nagito isn't letting him anywhere near her. Plus, he is still traumatized by what she did, even if he's trying not to blame her. He's not exactly eager to be within grabbing distance of Mikan, even if Nagito weren't keeping him away.
Imagine if Junko didn't know what was going on. Like, she's still Ultimate Despair Junko Enoshima, but she doesn't have her school memories. She still doesn't know any of these people. She had a plan, but that plan was "sixteen people locked in a school", not "thirty-two people of varying sizes trapped on a set of tropical islands". She doesn't know about the Remnants of Despair. She's never met Mikan. She can arrive at some educated guesses as to why the weird nurse might be fawning over her, but it's still weird!
If nobody makes a fic where a younger version of Loki (15-16) discovers he's a frost giant, thinks back to all the shitty things he had to endure, runs away to be free and THRIVES I'll do it my damn self.
Apprentice AU Megatronous and Orion for commission!!
My babiessss I miss them sm I can't believe I get to draw them for a commission sobs
I like to think that they also like watching MLP because bright small horses saving the day and singing songs makes their undead heart happy.
Someone walks in one day to talk to Danny who is surrounded by talons and he's just like "Give me a minute," turns on the tv and the mlp theme song comes on catching every talon's attention. They gather around and watch it.
"Okay." Danny slowly laid the already cold body back onto the table, ready to slide back it into the refuge of cold storage. "Okay. Dead guy. Stay there."
The body didn't move.
"Fantastic. Now. Hang out while I pour the embalming fluid into the pump, alright? It should only be a minute."
And it usually did; working in a funeral home wasn't extremely glamorous, but it paid the bills, and Danny had already been used to the rhyme and rhythm of negotiating death with the public by the time he sent in his mortuary school application. It had been a transition that made sense. And in the end, the degree had only cost him a few extra years post-graduation and a little dig into student loans, and now Danny had a stable 12-8 job and health insurance valid in the state of new jersey.
Today, though, the pump had that decided enough was enough. With a bang and a boom, the pump spat out a cloud of smoke and clunked uncomfortably.
The dead body sat up.
Danny scrambled over to push it back down. "No. We talked about this. Dead people don't move. If you want to stay here and have me put you back together all the time, you have to stay put. Got it?"
Whatever the weird gold-eye corpses were on in Gotham, they at least listened to him on occasion. They weren't ghosts, per se— they never pinged on any of the ghost detection devices Mom and Dad had packed in his going-away-to-college bag— but they were, despite being occasionally animate, perfectly deceased.
Weird. Danny had never gotten used to it. Still, they came in droves, too eager to sit on the top of the basement stairwell and lurk in the corners and stare endlessly at them with their weird, avian eyes, and sometimes they heralded the arrival similarly weird-ass bodies that had lost their heads or their arms or their limbs through the more conventional channels.
"I'm losing too much thread to all y'all coming in all the time," Danny complained to the dead body, who, at the moment, was the only person present to blame. "Stop getting your limbs cut off. This stuff is expensive, you know. It's a specialty order."
The body didn't even have the courtesy to blink. Rude.
"At least let them bury you this time. Every time one of you darts off when my back's turned, my boss thinks I'm stealing corpses. My coworkers think I'm building my own Frankenstein or something."
The corpse neither verbalized nor blinked, but Danny hadn't expected it to; with a sigh, he rolled the corpse back into cold storage, locked its little door (not that locking it in had ever stopped it) and called it quits for the night.
It's not like anyone was paying him for the extra hours anyway.
Nico, on a trip, found a small pretty gem emitting the faintest of death energy and decides to take it back with him.
Back at camp he gets it made into a necklace and wears it wherever he goes. However, things take a turn when the necklace protected him by putting up some kind of green shield, followed by the voice of a teenager.
To be honest, this was kinda his fault, Danny could admit that.
You see he was trying to get a handle on his new portal powers and thought practicing in the park was a very resonable idea. It was not! It had taken fifteen minutes before he was surrounded by a total of 10 GIW vans, all very happy to test their new weapons on him. He was doing pretty well handling them until he used his new power on the giant gun connected to one of the vans. Danny thought he could just portal it away but surprise surprise it didn't work, furthermore it got stuck in the portal and he had all but a moment before it exploded, encasing him in a bright light.
When he woke up he realized he had retreated back into his core which was super bad because while cores were very indestructable it would be very bad for the GIW to get a hold of even one. He was so deep in panicked thoughts that he didn't even notice someone had picked him up until he felt fingers laced with death energy brushing against his core.
He was taken back to a camp where he was made into jewellery. Okay, he wasn't too upset about that, he got to see himself when he was put close to a mirror and honestly he was fine piece of jewellery, Paulina would be jealous.
So maybe it wasn't all that bad being a necklace to some death-touched kid, even if his friends seemed a little weird, but who was he to judge? He's basically a weirdo to everyone who isn't his family or friend. Things were going surprisingly good for him...which means things were about to go absolutely wrong for him.
While away from the camp the death-touched kid, whose name was Nico, was attacked by these weird creatures that did not feel like ghost at all. He watched as Nico defended himself pretty good but eventually a monster slipped by his field of vision. Danny acted fast and quickly put up a barrier between them and the monster, releasing it when Nico was ready to attack.
It had taken a while but all the creatures were finally defeated.
"That was a close one."
"You can talk?"
"...Shit!"
So, maybe Danny should have been more specific when he said he wanted to get reincarnated, because this? Is not an ideal situation.
See he’s fine with being a clone, really, but uh, apparently the scientists want to terminate him- which, like dude, he’s not even melting or actively dying! So what if he failed at their tests, his body is three, give him a break!
Well, at least it’s given him certainty in getting out, because these are Not good people. He wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and- hold up, another clone? Brother? Two brothers? One aged up, one in the middle of it- since his own aging-up failed past three?
Oh hell no, they can’t experiment on his brothers, those are his brothers and living people just as much as he is! Time to break out- and he’s taking those papers thank you- and gonna’ grab his… he’s gonna’ call them his triplets because they’re the same age, just aged differently.
Now hold his hand, they’re runnin’ to the mountai- oh thank fuck, the physically-oldest of them can fly. To the mountains while they have the cover of night and they can figure things out. At least his life isn’t boring yet…
