Hello lovely Tumblr folk! It’s that time again- I have a giveaway for you all. This time we're celebrating the 8th birthday of my little shop! 💜

We have both an online store and a physical location that could use your support!

My business is just a small, family run establishment that I started here on tumblr in 2013. I’ve been lucky enough to grow to the point where my husband and I opened a brick and mortar store and I’ve been able to employ my mother and several of my siblings! I’ve been supporting my mom and younger siblings since 2016 💜 I’ve always put compassion and ethics above all else in my business!

This giveaway will have one winner.

What the winner receives:

The large assortment of crystals pictured above! There are 25 crystals in total. Their full retail value is about $450

You don’t have to live in the US to join!

Shipping is entirely free, I will cover it. But if you live outside the US and for whatever reasons your country wants to charge you import tax, you are responsible for it. If it gets sent back to me, you will need to pay shipping to have it sent again.

There is something so intriguing, so fascinating about library cards, the ones that are kept inside the books, with the list of people who issued it and the return dates. Like yes, show me who read you before me and let my mind imagine unrealistic scenarios for them.

I hate the whole backlash like ‘you say touch starved but you actually just mean horny’ NO I mean when I was getting my hair cut there was a moment where the hairdresser tilted my head to the side and the top of my head brushed his chest and my brain short circuited with endorphins because it thought I was being held

When they say "do your best", they generally don't mean "push yourself so hard it has serious consequences for your mental or physical health." Your best effort is supposed to be sustainable.

On twitter I’m seeing dozens of threads from Black activists warning people against burnout, giving all sorts of useful tips about preventing and managing it for the sake of a long-term, sustainable effort.

On tumblr I’m seeing a hell of a lot of young white kids yelling at anyone who actually follows those steps, and acting like burnout is a moral falling rather than a well-proven psychological phenomenon.

Be careful who you get your information from. Don’t let guilt lead you to make choices that will harm both you and the movement.
