Ya know, because it won
More Genya cause i thought someone I know had asked for it but apparently it was something else that I will also be working on
Possible angst?
Lots of miscommunication and misunderstandings (ironic, right?)
-------------------
It had been a few months since you had purchased him and, possibly unintentionally, reunited him with his brother.
It had been long enough that you all had gone through a few of the common human holidays.
He had already known of these from past owners but none had gone as out of the way as you had.
The home was decorated to the point of when he saw it complete, he almost mistaked what house he was in. Even the smell had changed to what you had called "peppermint" for one, "cinnamon" or "pumpkin" for another. It was a strange smell that overwhelmed him at first, but you had lowered it when you saw the effect it had on your two demons.
That was another strange thing about you.
You CARED.
You paid attention to what upset them and what didn't. You did things that were inconvenient to yourself with little to no prompting from them.
So when he ended up hearing things he was pretty sure he wasn't supposed to, he is both surprised and not.
Not surprised that there was a price to the kindness, but a little at what the price was.
He had seen you and Sanemi enter a specific room at least once a day after the year ending holiday happened. He attempted to ignore it at first, doing his best to hurry past the room that he'd almost always hear some sort of grunting from.
However, it was difficult when he knew it was happening to his BROTHER. And a little awkward for him as well.
He didn't want to intervene at first, not wanting to make it worse for him or his brother, but when he really started to see how tired his brother looked even several hours after, Genya's worry got the best of him.
He had gone up to Sanemi, questions spilling from his mouth on "Why? How? Why would you agree?" One after another. Both wanting to know the arrangement his beloved brother had agreed to, but wanting to stay ignorant at the same time.
Sanemi had to grab a hold of him to get Genya to stop talking long enough to get a proper question out of him. He only succeeded in getting some sort of mish-mash of "door.. pains...owner.."
It took a while, but Sanemi managed to piece together something about Genya's worry with how bad he looks when he leaves the locked room.
Sanemi was confused, why was Genya so worried?
"It's fine. It's just to let off some steam. Why do you look so freaked out?"
Genya's worry quickly changed to almost straight up denial.
"Wait, you're not being forced? You.. you enjoy that?! With THEM?!"
Forced? Now Sanemi was VERY confused. Actually, now that he thought about it, how do you force exercise?
"What? No, of course not! It's just to help us. Plus, it's just fun. The heck is wrong with you today?"
"FUN?!" What was happening?! He never thought Sanemi like something like that! Especially with a human.
Sanemi slammed his hand on the carpeted floor, succeeding in making a 'thud' and looked Genya in the eyes.
"What the hell are you talking about?! 'Cause clearly we're not talking about the same thing!" Sanemi was pissed. He was being judged for something and he was pretty sure it was for it was something completely irrelevant to the current conversation.
"W-wha.. um.. do I really have to say it?" Genya was going slightly red, it was difficult enough for him when he was hinting at it, but to down right say it? He might as well die on the spot.
"If you want me to understand what the hell you're talking about me being ashamed for something that is helping me.." It was weird to admit out loud. He had been denying it for so long with you, and now he had to practically yell it to his brother so he would stop freaking out.
"Uh- ya know... you and.. the master... doin.." He tried to make as vague of a hand gesture as possible, leading to Sanemi just looking at him for a long moment.
He was almost worried he had seriously angered Sanemi somehow when said brother started laughing uncontrollably. What was so funny?
Sanemi was in TEARS. Genya thought he was doing THAT?! And with the master no less! He couldn't help it. The misunderstanding almost made sense, and that just made him laugh harder.
He hadn't laughed this hard in a long time, and what he was laughing at was one of the best things possible in his mind. (In the very back of his head, a little voice tucked away the thought that his little brother even knew about that possibility away for later, now was a time for laughter)
"It's EXERCISE!! Nothing more! And definitely not that." His face quickly changed to disgust, no wonder Genya was so confused.
"Yeah, the room you were talkin about, it's got a bunch of at home exercise equipment. Ya know, treadmills, weights, that kinda stuff. Not that crap, ya pervert."
"Oh"
Genya couldn't get more red if he tried. To make such a mistake! He wanted to hide in a hole for the rest of his life...
Genya was snaped out of his thoughts be an arm hoisting him up to stand. He looked at Sanemi confused as he led him out of the room and down the hall, only realizing what he was doing when they stopped in front of the door that started the whole thing.
"Ya wanna see?"
Sanemi was offering him to come with. It felt weird, knowing what he had thought was going on in here, only to now be proven (thankfully) wrong.
"Uh, I guess?"
Sanemi opened the door and guided him in, seeing just what he had described. Weights and other equipment everywhere. It wasn't the biggest room in the house, but it was definitely not the smallest. It needed to be for the amount of stuff in there.
They heard some clanking and looked over to see you putting a bar back on the bench press hooks.
"Hey! You're late." You were talking to Sanemi, but you weren't angry, more confused than anything. "What took ya so long?"
"Sorry," Sanemi started, walking over to you, grabbing a water bottle on the way from the mini fridge you both had put in here a while ago. "Had to clear something up real fast with him."
Sanemi pointed back to his brother, who stood there like a dear in headlights.
You were just sitting there, but you were in a tanktop with shorts, sweating, and chugging some water. It felt cliché, but his face started to warm again. You were just talking with Sanemi, laying down to get back to your workout, Sanemi getting in position to spot you.
Grnta more or less just watched for a while, seeing his brother going ham on one of the punching bags. He really did look like he was having fun.
This was... a weird home.
But a home he would like to keep if allowed..
A demon is never allowed anything...
Gotta season the little rats
saw that tiktok of a rat getting seasoned and i had to season my rat
Alright, so, I have other drafts for the pet au that I'll hopefully be finishing some time soon but for now, I have been on such a Hazbin hotel high and I NEED to get these ideas down.
Mostly Alastor and Lucifer but I may do others later.
All with reader.
Possible Lucifer's tango (not in this one specifically), but I don't know how good I am at writing that stuff, so, just a heads up
---------------------
You had been working for Alastor for decades. Longer than either of you had died.
You had started working for his family when you were both rather young. His mother had hired you to make sure Alastor was alright after he left the house.
He wanted to disagree, but one look from his mother and the words died in his throat.
'Mama's boy'
You couldn't help but think for a split second with a small smile.
You hadn't meant it derogatory. You actually preferred knowing that the man you would work for could be so respectful towards his maternal figure.
And he was.
He was rather respectful to those around him, even yourself (which was the greatest shock to you, dear reader), and that just made you all the more loyal.
That was the thing with your family. They find someone to serve, and they latch on, never faltering no matter what the person did.
If anything, Alastor was more shocked than you when you first found out about his meat preferences and how he acquired them. You looked at his latest work and took no time at all to start cleaning up his mess.
He had worried he would have had to kill you for a short while. He had actually grown to enjoy your company. But he figured out quickly that he had nothing to worry about. He even noticed that when it was your nights to cook, you switched to using the newly acquired ingredients in no time.
You had even switched your own food to better accommodate having to get less food from other sources.
You followed and served him as long as you could, and the day that bullet went through his head, your heart had shattered.
You yourself had grown far more fond of him than you knew he ever could, but that didn't make the heartbreak any easier when the funeral was finished.
You wouldn't let that be the way his image ended.
You set out and finished off the one who did this to your... employer...
You continued the killings he started, continued the cannibalism, continued his name. You knew you'd never do as well of a job with his radio, and you didn't dare try, the radio was his, never yours. You nearly quadrupled what his actual killings were. Always staying just under the radar.
You never did die the way the world had hoped, now its a bullet in your head (..like him..), or electricity coercing through your very being, not a needle, filled with enough toxins that you wouldn't last a minute.
You died of your own accords, making sure it was in a retirement home as if just another civilian, still eating the very thing that started it all in secret.
When you fell, it was no surprise to you. Your only goal was to find Alastor, and man, it was easy. Just following the screams you had grown so accustomed to all the way to a radio tower.
You noticed that all around you seemed to steer as far away from you as possible or just straight up finish themselves off instead.
You knew why. You could feel your own power coming off in waves around you. You didn't care, however. When you did make it to the radio tower, a man dresses in red was standing in front, long bits of hair going straight up that resembled ears with antlers right next to them, clearly expecting a challenge if the defensive look to him was anything to go by.
Others may not have noticed, but you did easily.
There were spectators all around, doing their best to stay out of sight but still there, clearly expecting some sort of fight.
What no one, even Alastor, expected, was for the newcomer to drop to a knee in front of the deer man.
You had recognized him quickly, little to no difficulty whatsoever.
"I have made it to you at last, and I hope I did not disappoint." A simple sentence that ment so much but so little to those around.
It was then that Alastor recognized you as well. Of course you were to end up as (animal/demon), it was always your favorite.
Alastor's demeanor changed in an instant, from shocked to almost glee.
"(Name)! Darling, how you've grown!" Any tension he might have still had disappeared in an instant. He knew the extent of your loyalty. Even now, being so much stronger than him, he knew you would never raise a finger against him.
Your head bowed deeper at the indirect praise. You had yet to meet his eyes, which Alastor noted. He quickly moved you both into his radio tower. He walked over to you with a new confidence.
He moved a hand to grab your chin with a gentleness usually never given from him and tilted your head up to get a good look at you. You were practically glowing under the attention, if it wasn't already obvious by the shine in your eyes that you thought died out when the gunpowder ignited, the slight (swish of your tail, ruffle of your feathers, that kinda thing) was a dead giveaway.
He knew he already had you wrapped around his finger, but he still needed to secure his safety. He ran a thumb softly over your left cheek.
"Dear, how would you like to make a deal?"
You tilt your head to the side in confusion. A deal? But he could take whatever he wanted. You would make sure of it.
"Whatever you so wish."
You dip your head back into a full bow, feeling his hand move to run through your hair.
"Oh, don't worry, darling. You could ask for anything, and all I'd want in return is.. your soul~" he leaned closer, bringing your face back to look at him once again, grinning dangerously wide.
You look off for a moment in thought. Alastor wondered what you'd wish for. Especially considering you were, at the moment, three times more powerful than him.
However, again, even with the sheer difference, you looked as if you'd hand your soul over by itself if you could. Rip it out and hand it over with a nice little bow on top.
You look into his eyes once more. "Anything?"
"Anything, darling," he responded with such certainty.
"I.." you hesitated for a moment. "I wish to stay by your side for as long as we exist. To surve you and be the first you call when needed."
Your response only made his everlasting grin grow wider, seemingly proud to have such loyalty ready and at his disposal.
"Nothing else, my dear?"
"What I ask is all I could hope for." An easy response, as of practiced for this moment.
He reaches a hand out, and you watch as it glows green. You take it into yours, seeing it glow just that much brighter.
"Deal"
Wow! Another :0
Schools back on so no promises on how fast these would come out :/
Anyway, Kanao's turn!
Still pet au
Ok, bye
------------
Kanao knew how to survive. Don't let them see what hurts you so they have no leverage.
You didn't have to try.
You weren't cruel.
That was the first thing that struck her as odd. Not that she could really feel the shock.
Well, she could. She always could. But if you keep the emotions buried, they couldn't be used against you.
She learned this at a young age.
Growing up from a small breading mill that was running short on money. So short that they sold their demons for dirt cheap.
It didn't matter anyway. She wasn't a high-quality demon. She was one that no one would bat an eye at if she disappeared. Even her owners after the mill thought so.
They weren't that well off either, so when they got her, they made sure she knew that they could sell her at any point for a quick, needed buck. So she 'behaved.'
She acted as what she thought any other good demon did, quiet and obedient. That didn't seem to help too much, however.
The owners after that were a bit better. They had more demons, too. Two sisters that immediately accepted her as one of their own, the younger being only slightly hesitant.
She had learned a lot from them. They took care of her. And when they were alone, when the owners were out, they were confused why she still had that emotionless, obedient attitude. She wouldn't make any decisions.
Kanae had a solution.
She had snuck into the masters' room and taken a coin that she knew no one would miss and gave it to Kanao.
Kanao was hesitant at first. This was stealing! And from their owners of all people.
But her sisters insisted. So she accepted it.
When no one was around and she needed to make a choice?
Coin flip.
When no one was around and the emotions she had built up were starting to show?
Coin flip.
It eased her immensely that she had this to fall back on, even if people still blamed her for the coins' choice. She was fine with this.
And it was from her sisters, so she would cherish it.
She grew with them, learning how to love from them. Showing them the smallest bit of herself.
It was a mistake.
The eldest, Kanae, as she learned, had feared for their life. A man had approached the girls and their owners on a night out, one of their better rewards for good behavior (that they didn't get too often thanks to Shinobu, the younger sister's, mouth) and Kanao accidentally bumped into him.
The man was shouting, and Kanao was confused. She had already apologized. Why was he still so angry? In her moment of thought, she almost didn't register the man raising a fist to hit her until Kanae had already moved in front of her and hit him herself.
Because of a demons' ridiculous strength, she broke several bones in the man's abdomen.
She was put down for this.
This broke both sisters all over again.
Kanae was the only one who really saw an upside to their situation, and with one demon in their care now having had a violent incident on her record, the owners wanted to get rid of the rest fast before a repeat.
So they were sold.
Once again, for dirt cheap.
This owner, you, seemed different somehow.
You never yelled. Hardly ordered.
You laughed when Shinobu made a snarky remark about you. Never truly offended.
And.
You gave them Kanae's hair pin and haori.
How you had aquired these? They may never know, they barely get a chance to ask anything about it without getting at least a little chocked up.
You broke the walls Kanao had put up for so, so many years so easily.
It may not have seemed like it to others, but you could tell. You paid enough attention to see her opening up even the slightest bit. To see Shinobu's sassy remarks getting fewer and further between.
You treated them like they were worth something, and that hit Kanao the hardest.
The two sisters' only regret is that their long past third couldn't get the same love before she was taken from this world.
But that was ok.
They promised themselves to live for her, so that, maybe, she could feel this happiness in the afterlife as well through them.
Had someone ask me that, told them I was fine.
YOU KNOW WHAT THIS GUY SAID?!
"you don't look fine."
WELL T H A N K Y O U CAPTAIN OBVIOUS
HA!
Soooo
I broke the 'Genius' level
Tf does that make me?
(Not the actual time it took me, obviously, I just kept leaving the game and restarting it cause I thought my phone broke)
It apparently didn't like that I found another way to solve
So
Yeah
This is the actual way to solve it according to the game
Heheh
So, am I double dumb or double genius?
Hazbin hotel :D
These are just some hc of a moth reader's 'interactions' with Val. Das all.
I got this finished earlier today but wanted to post the other first so this might have made a little sense in some strange way. Anyway. @ourmurdermassiah
Reader is in hell for poisoning their (abusive) s/o(and many others)
Reader looks nearly identical to Val, only difference is the eye color and even then, it's a hue off
Surprisingly Christian. Christian conservative. Will read Bible verses to a demon if they start pissing Reader off
Runs a bakery
Routinely steals Val's clothes, just cause
Impersonates Val to steal more of his clothes
Ruins his reputation, again, just cause
Has never actually met face to face with Val
Reader is going to help at the "happy" hotel
Will likely give Angel a panic attack. Or make him angry
Someone will cause tears from the reader. There is no stopping it
Reader is religiously abstinence. Aka, Reader is a virgin.
Reader very much does not like touch
Reader gets along with Rosie and Alastor after they realize that "This isn't Val, this is someone better :D"
Charlie feels bad for Reader for yelling
The first thing you see is red.. everything.. Red sky, red building, red.. people? Your attention is quickly directed to some of the first off-color in this place.
A neon green sign that reads, "Welcome to Hell!" with some letters flickering like the light bulbs haven't been changed in years. The sign seemed to be the only clear thing you could see. Your vision felt as if you were looking through frosted glass.
You attempt to prop yourself up with seemingly extra weight on your sides. When you gaze down, there lies an extra set of arms. You quickly rush over to find some sort of reflective surface, which you find rather difficult with the new, retched sight.
You manage to feel around for a window, finding a rather tall, stylish looking moth staring back. Purple skin, large, pointed teeth, a single gold tooth on the right side of your face.
You collect yourself quickly. You knew you were going to hell after all. You had murdered many. Mainly your horrid s/o, may God rest his soul.
You look down to "see" your bottom set of hands move to a rather obvious praying position, hands clasped in front of you. You couldn't seem to move them apart even if you wanted to. They were out of the way now, so you didn't mind.
As you make your way down the sidewalk, curious about what is here (smiling all the while), you watch people quickly rushing around (running away from you), hearing every now and again a loud bang with a chorus of screams.
"Everyone is so lively here!" you hum to yourself.
You "look" around for a bit longer before carefully making your way to what seemed to be a clothing store if you were to guess.
Before you get the chance to go inside, a flyer flew against your leg. When you manage to catch it, you see that it looks to be advertising some sort of building? You have to look incredibly close to the poster, clutching the edges of it and squinting your eyes in an attempt to clear your vision (unknowing of the worry everyone around you has for the poor soul that made the poster).
It seems to be requesting... something... for the- "Mappy Motel"? "Hally Halol"? You smack yourself, laughing lightly, when you realize how close you were the first time.
While the name was still rather strange to you for Hell, "Happy Hotel" makes more sense than the others.
You pocket the poster for later when you have a better understanding of what is around you. And with that, you stroll into the store next to you.
You make your way up to a counter swiftly despite your sight disadvantage, and before you can even raise your hand to request some services, a group of three rush over to you.
"Everything is ready for you, sir," one mumbled. "Sir"? You had only just arrived, and you were getting honorifics? Granted, the wrong ones, but they were clearly helping YOU, so, what were you to do?
Accept whatever help they give, obviously.
They were quick to hand you a pair of glasses that honestly didn't seem like they'd do much, but to humor them, you took a look through them. And goodness, were you glad you did.
It was as if someone had finally turned on the defrost for the frosted windshield. You could see!
You couldn't celebrate first too long as quickly after, a coat was moved onto your shoulders. Or, at least, they tried to. It was now that you realized just how tall you are now.
To try to help, you bend down a little, but that seemed to startle them for some reason. You don't get the chance to apologize before a rather large hat is placed on your head, and they back away with a quick bow.
You smile again and swiftly turn to leave. You aren't sure what all just happened and want to leave before anything else occurs to make it feel like you shouldn't be there. You give a quick thanks and exit out the door.
It's after the door is shut, and you have already walked a ways down the street before you remember the flyer you found. With your new sight, you retrieve it and get to reading.
You skim through it, finding many strange colors that look like they wouldn't work well together, but the thought was nice. The flyer explains that there is a hotel on the edge of the "pride ring" that is accepting all who wish to be redeemed.
You look at it for a long moment, a mental debate before you make your decision.
You have no interest in being redeemed, but you have no issue in helping others who may want it. And so, you head over to one of the few who are left around you. They seemed to be a humanoid lizard, somehow seeming weak in your eyes.
"Excuse me? Do you have a moment?" You wave at him, catching his attention easily. He looks around before pointing to himself in a confused manner. "Yes! You!" He gains a fearful look. What for?
You make it over to him and show him the flyer. "Do you know where I can find this hotel?"
He points a shaky finger over to a tall building in the distance. It looks run down but definitely has potential. You give the man a nod of thanks and begin walking.
First day in Hell, and somehow, you can't wait for the next. You get the feeling this is gonna be fun.
And.. why do you feel like someone is cursing you out?
Don't judge me, just give me the shirt
