Characters are a complex thing in general, but character relationships are even more complex. Just remember that characters don’t always have to share interests or goals to be compatible. Humans are complex and while characters aren’t as complex they’re still a reflection their fleshy creators.

However, my 9th grade self decided to just right “AHHH my bobs :(“ under swimming and not give ANY context. (I looked back through the diary and figured out we were diving that day which I was terrible at.)
