Hello! As you probably noticed in most cases I don't create meshes myself, I borrow them from various games instead, then convert to work as costumes. So if you ask if it is possible to have something in game, you need to find a 3d model and show it to me first. Still, I will not make promises a model you suggested is going to be my next cc. There are numerous resources containing ripped models, (such as DeviantArt, search for mdl / xna / dae extensions) I'm sure you'll find something from your list there 🙃

VTF baking small guide

The Valve Texture Format (VTF) is the proprietary texture format used by the Source engine. In case some of you might want to convert mdl files for Sims 4.

I firstly discovered this problem a long time ago. I was just about to snap a bake button when I saw that the texture is half-transparent in the UV editor. Model is different but the texture looked something like it:

"Why? How? The model looks fine. It has no visible transparency." It does indeed, but when you try baking VTF something strange happens. Baked texture looks like someone lowed down the brightness and half of it gone completely black. So how do we avoid baking transparency channel? Quite simply, honestly.

Save all the VTF textures you are going to bake in TARGA (TGA) format. Why not png / jpeg? Because only a TGA format preserves the transparency channel we need. Another way of doing it - use VTF Edit utility.

Open our exported TGA in Photoshop (or any other image editor that can work with channels)

Go to channels. What do we have here? An alpha channel. This is what cause our texture to darken. Simply delete it.

Now you can save edited texture in any format comfortable to work with.

Why would anyone decide only upper front fangs being made out of solid geometry is a good idea 💀💀 While the rest inner mouth area is like "hi i'm just see-through pixels" 😭 It does indeed reduce polycount significantly and I'm sure the point was to remove as many as possible but dear lord Sims 4 hates transparency

I'm sure most of you have no idea what are russians going through everyday, how are we living here. I love my country. I love people of my country, who can save kindness and strong enough to live here and have an open clear heart and positive view for the future. Who could rased in themselves tolerate and supportive person even if everyone else are saying terrible things (guys, you would lose your mind if you turned on our federal channels, also most of our parents are really conservative, like REALLY. We are finding the right way by ourselves) I feel really sad that good people which need support of the community where they can freely express themselves without eternal judging should suffer EVEN MORE. And russophobic comments are also deeply amaze me, like, do you really think we chose it? We CAN'T choose here AT ALL. And that's a big tragedy for our people.
