Salutations! Dunno if anyone remembers, but I've taken a course called "The apocalypse and the post-apocalypse in American culture" last semester, and yeah, I used it as an excuse to write a ~2500 word essay about Fallout:
If you are interested in it, that's the link, feel free to check it out. Keep your expectations low, though; I'm not a native speaker, I've never written an academic essay before, and I'm studying to be an economist, so I ventured into completely unfamiliar territory with this one. I don't even know what possessed me to take the course. On the other hand... it was totally worth it. The most fun I've had at uni.
Once we'd mopped up, we strolled right into Vic's quarters in the State House, wrapped a rope around his neck, and threw him off the balcony. And there I am, gun in hand, draped in Hancock's duds, looking at all the people of Goodneighbor assembled below. I had to say something. That first time I said 'em, they didn't even feel like my words: "Of the people, for the people!"
you can't be hungover if you don't stop drinking
Thought I'd share some piano covers I'm quite proud of! They're not perfect (by far), but I'd really enjoyed working on them:
(I really wish I'd used the last camera angle all along, but oh well)
he performs at the Third Rail when he gets drunk and you can't convince me otherwise
Song:
Original:
A video of Mr. Shorago (Hancock's VA) singing in character (for, well, educational purposes):
show me a silly little guy in a silly little hat and I'll probably have a silly little crush on him
Two more thoughts (I didn't want to put too many things in one post, but, unlucky for you, I'm incapable of shutting up):
I'm actually taking a course called "The apocalypse and the post-apocalypse in American culture" this semester! It has absolutely nothing to do with my bachelor’s programme (International Business Economics, ugh), but I've always been drawn to post-apocalyptic fiction, so I just... couldn't resist. Anyhow, I can't wait to be writing papers on the Fallout series! (Among others, of course, but let's not stray too far right now.)
There's this song that's been stuck in my head for two months, mainly because the lyrics are sooo Hancock-coded, give it a listen if you are interested! If only I could animate... Maybe one day.

This used to be one of my go-to heartbreak songs. Finally had time to record a cover
Today I bring you some sheet music! I usually just put the link to these in the descriptions of my videos, but YouTube is getting worse and worse these days, so I figured I'd share them here as well, should someone look for something similar:
If you need them as pictures, fire away! I normally have no more than incomprehensible notes for my arrengements, though; I only jot them down when someone asks me to. If you are interested in another one, just message me, I'll try to make time to do so.
I never finished this one. Geez, I wonder why
