I've been thinking that every time Inosuke is in the forest, he sees a resemblance to Tanjiro in the usual gifts of the forest

PostTS Luffy realizes how Zoro blames himself for not being strong enough and weak. Not that he speaks about it but they never needed to speak out loud to know what the other thinks and feels. Even after he brings victory after victory to them it's still the same. Luffy thought Zoro would know how he appreciates him and never would blame him for something like that. But perhaps this is one of those rate times where he should speak his mind out loud to Zoro. So he starts to praise how amazing Zoro's moves were, how cool he looked, how proud he is to have him. That would lighten Zoro's heart and bring a smile to his face.

*whacking gavel on desk* we need to talk more about luffy BLUSHING at the glint of green in the distance hundreds of feet away and realizing after so long (three weeks) he’s finally reunited with his swordsman. bc huh!?? he did not need to blush to convey how excited he was to see zoro, but it was a conscious decision to draw in the manga & anime that luffy BLUSHED at the sight of him.

(and then he flung himself into zoro’s arms clutching on to him saying it’s been forever while zoro smiled bright and wide bc suddenly they were just two dumb kids from the east blue with a dingy and a dream again)

Kuina would've loved Luffy.

Luffy doesn't care about gender, race, biology or any of that shit. If you piss him off, he'll tell it directly to your face. If you hurt his friends, he'll kick your ass. 

You're a girl? So what? He'll punch you in the face if necessary.

If Kuina says to Luffy that her dream is to become the World's Greatest Swordsman, Luffy wouldn't laugh at her or judge her like her father or all the other adults do. He would've smiled brightly. He would've cheered her on! He may even think she's cool!

Oh, if only you could have met him, Kuina. Zoro muses as his gaze falls on the sword that holds both his and her dreams together.

And Zoro knows, deep in his heart, she wouldn't mind that their dreams are now tied to Luffy's as well.

Goodnight, tonight Luffy did everything he could think of to make Zoro laugh because after not seeing him for two years he missed hearing Zoro's laugh, watching his body shake with it and his dimples showing as his face stretch with his smile. And Zoro, who was simply delighted to see his captain, couldn't hold his smile in.

When I say I ship Zoro with Luffy I don't mean in a sexual way. They're both asexuals, I think that's obvious. I don't mean in a romantic way either. They're not the type to kiss in the moonlight, have romantic dinners or talk about their future plans. But not in a platonic way either. When I say I ship them, I mean by that they're soulmates. They're destined to be together in every universe. They don't need to use words, they don't need to even be in the same place at the same time. They know they'll meet each other again. They know they would sacrifice themselves without hesitation to each other. And I don't mean they wouldn't do the same for the rest of the crew, of course they would, that's how Luffy and Zoro are. But they're the Captain and his first mate. The King and his right hand man. But at the same time they're the opposites that need each other. Light and Dark. God and Devil.

Zoro: WHAT THE HELL LUFFY?!
