I suck at interacting with people and online I'm even more akward than irl, so I've never been very active in a community until now and despite everything you've been very kind and cool 😸

There are very talented artists in this community, very creative writers who captivate you with their stories, people who analyze characters in such a detailed way that they seriously leave you thinking, dedicated people who make liveblogs, summaries and translations of streams and clips that help ensure that no one misses anything, people who make memes and shitposts that can make someone else's day...

Keep making art and writing about these characters if it makes you happy, keep enjoying the content if it makes you happy, there's nothing wrong with that ♡

This project gave me the opportunity to enjoy the content of amazing ccs with amazing communities, interesting cultures and languages... and i also got to meet you^^, no matter what happens, it is an experience that I will never forget

Double Life: New Chaos Begins!

1/6 of my PearlescentMoon Double Life Thumbnail series for my illustration class. It was one of my final projects of the semester, so I’m excited to finally share it.

Each illustration is sketched with colored pencil, colored with watercolor and gouache, and lined with red ink. For this project, I focused on a different coloring and shading techniques. (I also wanted to highlight different story elements from each episode! So episode one showcases the ✨ nether ✨)

Symbols & Details 2

Far Too Cold is the first to feature Tilly baby (queen of my heart)! Her collar is gold, a small hint at her lost life. Her paws are also on the red string of fate as if she was Pearl’s soulmate.

The roses represent both the color red and love/soulmates. There are rose petals in the snow, which hurts/separates the soulmates.

Dl!Pearl has patches of hypothermia on her cheeks and legs to show the pain from the snow. The snow is both a way to hurt Scott and herself, which Tilly is sad about. (Her outfit also does not give her much coverage from the snow.)

New Chaos Begins is the only thumbnail to feature Pearl in her blue jacket! It took several layers of gouache to perfect the lighting.

The grass is red and blue for the nether, but also can represent Pearl and Scott. A small hint to the mysterious soulmate at the end of the red string.

The red string connects to the viewer, leaving the mystery of who she is connected to. Also it looks cool!

The mushrooms and blazes can represent the trading items from the nether. The Nether also is both the cause for the rest of the story and introduces the color red (a prominent color/symbol).
