“Please be careful,” she said. Draco looked almost amused. “It’s nice that you’re concerned.” Ginny’s next words came out of her mouth without any foreknowledge on her part that she was about to speak them. “I am concerned,” she said. “I love you.” His head jerked up and he stared at her, an expression of absolute astonishment on his face. She stared back. She would have thought she would be fighting to keep her expression neutral, but really she only felt very calm. She had said it. Let him do with it whatever he wanted. Although really, he must have known. How could he not? When he replied, it was with only one word, and not the one she was expecting. “Why?”

Huge fan of your edits and I don't mean to pry or rush you, but just wanted to ask if u have any updates on the english translation of your fics :)) they look so good and inreresting and i've been fighting the urge to just use google translate to read them lmao thanks and hope u have an awesome day!

unfortunately there is no updates on english translation, here is why: 

a. I'm in the middle of my final reading/editing of Back to Black (took a loooooong time to come back to this fic since i first started it and even longer to make me somewhat satisfied by it)

b. it's almost 200k words now (it was 120k before), and I'm afraid that there is just no drinny shippers in russian community that has enough language skills or dedication to do this. maybe if it was dramione fic, but drinny... I doubt that. I would've done it myself but as you probably noticed I have zero knowledge of english grammar. the thing about russian/english translations is that it's SO much harder than vice versa. complexity is a part of it's beauty, and my writing style does not help at all (I was raised on russian literature, so can you really blame me?).

c. my other WIP Fragile was temporarily deleted from all platforms due to the fact that the last update was years ago (yes, I am that author BUT I'm doing better job now when I finally came back to the fandom hehe), so in order to finish the fic I need to rework it a little. that one is supposedly shorter in words, so maybe I will be able to find someone to help me with the translation.

so there's that. if you would still like to use google translate for Back to Black please wait till I finish my editing. i could notify you when I'm done :)

P.S. one of the funniest parts of it all is that I actually design a lot of scenes in very poorly written english and I do have to translate them back to russian later lol. which is stupid because english romance sounds awfully cheesy in russian (that language was built for angst and drama, not for fluff). idk. I consume media/cinema/books in english so it's just makes more sense to me.

i wish i could translate my fanfics from russian to english so i could discuss it with you guys. I’m actually thinking about it a lot nowadays, so I’ve decided to tell you their summary – maybe you’ll actually be interested in it. 

 1) Back to Black | ~100k words | Drama, Angst, Romance

Ginny Weasley/Draco Malfoy, Ginny Weasley/Blaise Zabini, Pansy Parkinson/Harry Potter

The events taking place during Half-Blood Prince, and obey to the narrative’s timing completely (I am obsessed with details and tried to keep it as closely to Missing Scenes genre as it could be). Ginny feels extremely lonely and isolated from everyone else after what happened in the Ministry. The only person, who is there to comfort her is, surprisingly, Blaise Zabini. After some time of personal dilemma, she started to date him. But since Draco is his best friend, the two are getting closer – so they can be lonely together. 

The story also tells a lot about Silver Trio – Draco, Pansy and Blaise. Their friendship is one of the main lines of the narrative, and Pansy is one of my favourite characters. It is my main work, and I've started this ff almost ten years ago.

2) Fragile | ~20k words | Drama, Angst Ginny Weasley/Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter

After the war is over, Harry is visiting Draco Malfoy in his top-secret cell in Azkaban, the day before his Dementor’s Kiss. His main goal to interrogate him for the last time – to try to find out something about missing parts from Ginny’s diary, that he’s maybe finally be willing to tell. As the story unfolds – there are a lot of flashbacks from the time, when Draco and Ginny worked together side by side, in the Army of the Death Eaters. Why was she there? And where is she now?  

That one is way more dark than the first one. A few of my readers told me that “Manacled” reminded them of this work. I haven’t read that one yet – so I can’t tell.
