I love how different forms of art are all obsessed with each other. A book tries to capture the feeling of music, a painting tries to depict a scene in a book, a song tries to paint a picture. And it's always insufficient. No single form of art can encapsulate another form of art and capture the essence of it – but it tries, and its attempts are impossibly compelling. All the forms of art are in love with each other and spend so much time trying to express what makes the other kinds of art so lovely.

What I love about the months is that they don't actually mean jack shit. What's the difference between August and September? Nothing. The name, that's all. But they're all blank. They're all in my future. Which means I can try again and again and again, and it doesn't matter if I succeed in October or February because they're all the same. They're all empty, waiting to be lived. I always get to try again.

I am almost out of the trenches.. I did all my taxes.. I finished two big comms I was really nervous about because of my own insecurity.... I sent my cousin some of the money I made from my commissions for her biopsy.. and we repaired all the holes in my sisters room and got rid of the mold.. I only need to do legit three more big comms and work will be less crazy. The electricity bill dropped today and its like 90 usd.. please.. if you like my art would you consider getting a print.. !
