How I look at my parents as if I didnt just slash the absolute shit out of my thighs:

everything is a reference. and i mean EVERYTHING, so here is a list of everyday things i associate with my favorite charas / ships / fandoms- i want you, YES YOU, to guess what their connection is (keep in mind, some may seem fairly obvious):

rats, snow, russia, ushankas, cellos (string instruments in general), literally anything white or purple, fish (mackerels especially), bandages, trench coats, bolo ties, suicide, slugs, small things, red tattoos, waistcoats, gravity, dress shoes, doughnuts, bicycle wheels (im so sorry if you understand this), glasses, raccoons, dogs, birds (doves), dolls, anything medical . . . .

add your own and i suppose ill guess what your reference is too!

There are two types of writers:

1. 'It's fiction, it doesn't need to make sense!'

2. 'I didn't account for the rotation of the planet and how that affects the constalations while my characters stargazed at different times of year, I have failed as a writer, and this entire thing is trash'

A restaurant named You're Not Supposed To Be Here, where the whole point is that the vibes are unnerving. The lighting is weird, the whole place has a faint scent that's not a bad smell, but it's certainly not food smell and you can't quite identify what the hell it is. The music is weirdly janky and you can't quite tell what's wrong with it, the vocals aren't exactly garbled but sung in a language you swear you've never heard anywhere and couldn't name if you tried. Only hiring staff who have anxiety and they're 100% permitted to show how much your presence here stresses them out.

Headcanon that Mori is unintentionally the honorary member of the single mothers club in Yokohama. He was seen one too many times shopping with Elise and one of the women he met while shopping invited him to the meet up at the café. Mori did go and while he initially thought it a good opportunity to gather information in general, he started to enjoy it way too much and joins them regularly whenever his busy schedule allows.

They all saw just an overworked single father and doctor who tried his best and were like: Yes, that man is ours.

Maybe they know that he is the CEO of Mori Corps. Maybe not.

Mori himself doesn't know how exactly he did end up there, but it could be worse. And hey, the cake is pretty good.

It always fascinated me that when trans people took hormones, they. Worked. I mean this PURELY from a biological standpoint. We think of "male" bodies and "female" bodies as so different, but the reality is they just aren't. A human body will know what to do with the tools you give it, even if it's never had those tools before.

Put testosterone in a "female" body, and it'll know how to grow a beard. It just will.

Put estrogen in a "male" body, and it'll know how to form breasts. It just will.

It doesn't matter what the "original" sex was, a human body is a human body and it knows what to do. We were never different. We just think we are because we think it makes more sense. But it doesn't. I make way less sense, actually.

I think that's fascinating and kind of beautiful. Honestly
