November 3rd 1959 - Sirius Black was born premature to Walburga and Orion Black.

November 3rd 1970 - Sirius Black received his letter to Hogwarts. Regulus Black cried, he didn't want his brother to leave.

November 3rd 1971 - Sirius Black's twelfth birthday. His new best friends, James Potter and Peter Pettigrew threw a surprise birthday party in their dorm. The three of them also snuck out after hours and dumped a bucket of soap on the caretaker, Filch. None of them realised their fourth member, Remus Lupin was tearing himself to shreds in the Shrieking Shack.

November 3rd 1972 - Sirius Black is contacted by his Aunt Andromeda. It was the beginning of Sirius Black's rock music phase. The Marauders (as dubbed by Professor McGonagall) pranked the school by casting rain clouds inside the Great Hall and soaking everyone.

November 3rd 1973 - Sirius Black got his first girlfriend, a Hufflepuff named Eleanor. Remus Lupin fought not to be angry about it and James potter organised a common room party with lots of music, people and the boys got their first taste of firewhisky.

November 3rd 1974 - Sirius Black realised he was queer when a fifth year Ravenclaw snogged him in the stairwell outside the loudest common room party yet. Remus Lupin was still in the Hospital Wing, however the boys snuck in close to midnight so he could say happy birthday.

November 3rd 1975 - Sirius Black kissed Remus Lupin when they were getting ready for the common room party. Sirius Black had then watched as Remus Lupin fled. Both of them got incredibly drunk and it would be a while before they talked.

November 3rd 1976 - Sirius Black didn't get a common room birthday that year. He didn't want one anyway, he was still reeling from what he'd done. Remus Lupin wished him a happy birthday for appearances sake. Neither of them could look each other in the eye.

November 3rd 1977 - Sirius Black had the best time of his life. He danced with his boyfriend, Remus Lupin, played 'Ballroom Blitz' to the record on his guitar in front of the entire House, danced some more with his boyfriend, played truth or dare with his friends, snuck to the Astronomy Tower with Remus Lupin, both incredibly drunk and dared each other to count the stars. They fell asleep and woke to the sound of owls screeching. Sirius Black knew this was the best birthday he would ever have.

November 3rd 1978 - Sirius Black knew the war had intensified. The Order barely had time to celebrate Christmas, let alone birthdays, however Euphemia Potter made him a red and gold cake and they had a small gathering in celebration. It was a quiet day and the threat of the war was in everyone's minds. If had felt wrong to celebrate when their friends were fighting for their lives.

November 3rd 1979 - Sirius Black didn't celebrate his birthday. He was still grieving the loss of his brother, Regulus Black. Remus Lupin tried to help, but he kept being pushed away until he stopped trying. Sirius Black knew that was the day things started to fall apart.

November 3rd 1980 - Sirius Black was in hospital after a mission gone wrong. Remus Lupin had sat by his bedside for three days until he was forcibly removed by Dumbledore and thrown back to the front lines. Sirius Black woke up the day after to an empty chair and a sad heart. Doubt began to set in and he urged the Potter's with newborn Harry to make Peter secret keeper.

November 3rd 1981 - Sirius Black sat alone in his cell, wishing upon every star he could go back and get one more hug from his Moony. Oh, he missed his moon so much. The stars didn't feel right without the moon. He didn't feel right without his Moony. He hadn't felt right in years.

And I couldn't just ignore when she asks if Percy saw her. Like, the little look that says "Oh that's why" and proceeds to spot Clarisse without missing a beat. That lil moment of dissapointment

The way the first hug you can see how surprised he was that she was that happy to see him that she would embrace him like that. The second hug just felt like he was not only expecting it but anticipating it a little. The smile that spreads across his face is pure comfort. Like that hug from her solidified that he was home and safe.

Kinda what is in it: You hate Sirius Black ......right?

Sirius is so annoying to you because honestly, why is he so fucking narcissistic, like, dude???? So obnoxious and uncaring of anyone else. Over all, he annoyed you to no end, constantly flirting around and making it seem like it's a privilege to be talking to him. Gods, could he be so annoying. So irritating with his stupid messy hair and stupid grey eyes and stupid pink lips and stupid gaze that seemed to peirce through everything. You hate him, end of discussion.

Or so you thought. One night, you see him at the infirmary sitting beside a bed. He was crying while a hand was in his stupid big palms.

The hand belonging to none other than the famous James Potter.

You had heard what had happened. Apparently, some prank they were planning went wrong, they say it was Black's idea.

You just stood there unmoving and silent while the raven haired boy sniffled.

He was mumbling words you couldn't quite hear.

You stepped a bit closer, still trying to stay out of sight.

You heard a few words, words like : punish, mother, James, hate, Mrs Potter and home.

Then it hit you.

How Sirius' complexion changes the moment someone mentions something about families. Reguals had a very bad complexion too. Always.

They never wanted to go home for the holidays

Sirius was so outgoing and fun that you never realized that whenever he stayed for the holidays or went to the Potters' , it wasn't because he wanted to have fun and fool around.

You remember seeing really dark bruises on Sirius after one holiday but you had just assumed it was another prank.

But it all made sense now.

He was a BLACK.

A member or THE Black family.

Of course.

It didn't take a genius to know that they hated muggleborns.

Or that if anyone wasn't a Slytherine, they wouldn't be worthy for the Black family.

Everything was clicking in place.

Why he was so loud, so annoying, so much of an attention seeker, why he always was upto something.

He was didn't doubt the fact he was the black sheep.

So he stood out more and more, if he couldn't change what they thought, he'd change what he was. So he did everything he could to become what others thought he was.

Sirius was still crying. You realized that when a hard sob wrecked through his body.

All your brain had in it now was how he would have his head down, James' hand pressed to his forehead as he cried in the darkness, how his hair would be veiling his face from all sides, how his pale cheeks would now be red and wet because of crying.

Next think you knew, you had Sirius' head pressing against your front as you hugged his shoulders from behind.

The sobs momentarily stopped, the crying boy overtaken by shock.

Slowly, he looked up. His silver eyes bloodshot and shining in the moonlight that entered through the window.

As he looked up, one more tear fell out and onto his cheek, then another, then another and another until he was sobbing again.

He had now fully gave into the emotions, pressing his head back into your chest.

You kissed his forehead and held him close as the annoying prankster let go and brought down every wall he had up.

A few tears escaped your eyes as you saw the ever so smug and pideful looking boy breaking down before you, in the shining moonlight.

It crushed you.

He deserved so much better.

He deserved to be loved just as much as anyone else.

He cried for a long time while you held him, held him all through it until eventually he fell asleep.

Once he was alseep, you laid his head on James' bed and covered him with a blanket.

This stupid egotistical bastard was never gonna be the same as before to you, you knew that.

Nothing could be done.

No one else had witnessed what happened that night, but little parts of the both of them fell a bit deeper in love with the other, not that either had ever truly admitted being in it. No one knew, but hearts were swayed; no one saw, but lives were changed. Forever.

One of the things I liked about this new Percy Jackson episode is that they made the choices the kids make intentional

Instead of just going to the Arch to kill time, now they go because it is a temple for Athena, who Annabeth believes will help them.

Instead of the trio being separated because there wasn't enough room on the pod, Percy deliberately chooses to get Grover and Annabeth to safety and face Echidna alone.

It gives them a lot more agency in their actions and makes the Echidna fight carry more weight.
