OUT NOW :: NOSTALGIC (7.2)

I tried to create something different to my usual style with Nostalgic - with a pastel pink/purple lo-fi aesthetic, there is definitely a retro inspiration with this one. It is super accessible, and requires only a very basic understanding of google docs to make this work for you! There is a high level of customisation possible with this one- just change a few colours of fonts and you could change the colour scheme entirely!

please try and keep the number of lines of the text the same to avoid messing up the format. if you have any issues, you can send me a message and i can help you with the format.

this template can be purchased here for £1.00. you can edit it however you like, as long as you do not remove my credit and link on the very first page. please don’t share the link for this doc once you have purchased it.

the images used are not mine, credit to the original artists - if anybody has the artists name, please let me know so i can add it to this post. this template was loosely inspired by this theme.

i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping

pink and green frog-themed AO3 site skin

Screenshot of the AO3 homepage. The header is a large picture of a hand-drawn frog sitting on a log and reading a book. The header's background is a very pale pink. The site background is a mid-toned green. The header menu and buttons are in a deep rose colour. The titles and highlight for favourite tags are both in a bright yellow-green. The font is Century Gothic.

The top of a fic. The page background is a mid-tone green but the background of the tags and the fic is the same pale pink as the header image. The buttons above the fic also have that same background colour and are outlined in a deep rose colour. They are also shaped like rounded trapezoids. Archive Warnings have been recoloured to purple. Characters are recoloured orange. Additional Tags are recoloured blue. Not shown, but Relationships are recoloured green. The title of the work and the author's name are in all-caps in the same colour as the borders. The text of the summary is a dark brown.

The kudos, comment box, and footer. The kudos icon has been replaced by a frog holding a heart. The comment box is outlined in deep rose, background of light pink, and text input is white. The footer has a top boarder of white to separate it from the green of the overall page background. The footer itself is a deep rose colour and the text is white.

This one was frustrating at some points but mostly it was just a good time. If you'd like to try it out, I've posted the code (and instructions for how to implement a skin on your AO3 account) here.
