New York as a result of being on the nexus is a hub of Supernatural activity

As the city developed tensions rose between the fae and humans until Soho was built and the subways were devised to force the fae out of Manhattan

Most Fae now live in the upper Hudson Valley but those that remain in NYC are hunted by NYPD
