after the newest faction meeting, hayley decided to scout the streets in her own way. taking people watching to the next step by using her hybrid abilities, she walked through crowds. it was clear who was human and who was supernatural, humans had no worry lines on their forehead. no one was really giving her any new details, a lot of them just anxious about the gruesome murders. still she kept going, getting lost in other conversations and not realizing the noise her body made, as it bumped into a loud chain-link fence. shaking her head, the hybrid realized that andrew was staring. "guess i got a little too caught up in other peoples business." a slight smirk covered her lips. "you doing okay andrew?"

rumor had it that there was a supernatural killer on the loose and those who were aware of the attack were on edge . it didn't help that the newbie vampire was attacked the moment he stepped in new orleans . but now there were actual murders happening in the city . heads severed and bodies bound and set on fire . this was enough to keep the redhead on guard , understanding that anything could happened at any given moment . andrew looked back when he heard a noise .
she could feel it each time they were in the same room, not only was his touch gentle but so was his gaze. it was as if she had come back to life a china doll. if she wanted anything, it was to prove that she didn't need to be treated as such. leaning against a bannister, the cool marble against her warm back caused a calm to wash over eleanor. ever since coming back, it felt as if he was avoiding her and yet also provided her with comfort. the whole ordeal caused her head to feel dizzy. so she spent time with her family, being with her sisters and trying to catch up on the years she missed.
yet, she yearned for nikolas, he was somehow she always turned to when feeling overwhelmed. just as she was thinking about him, their eyes met across the room. a shiver ran up her spine, one so different than before. instantly she blushed, feeling as if she was seeing him for the very first time. elle decided to make the first move, her feet basically floating off the floor as she made her way to her love. when she got to him, she placed a hand on his chest and smiled sweetly. "i'd know your eyes anywhere." she admitted to him so easily.

nikolas had spotted eleanor at the enchanted evening masquerade . even the mask she wore wasn't enough to stop him from spotting the brunet across the room in her cloudy blue gown . she appeared god sent , and other words she was a perfect , vision . yet , that didn't stop the tribrid from wanting to keep his distance from her , even though everything in his body was scream to be near her . the tall male felt guilty for his absence in her life but how else could he prove that she deserved better . regardless , of the facts , it didn't stop nikolas's piercing blue eyes from searching the crowd for her .
"you sure? cause i only need a few tomatoes so it's no big deal." gabriela was calmer now, always fighting that darkness that lurked inside her. it was something she grew better at with age and time, her loving family also dulling any of that need for something other than love. yet every day was a struggle, her soul was free but she still wasn't human. "if you are grocery shopping for someone else i think they normally keep those orders in a special place." grabbing some random produce and placing it in her tote, gabi turned around to point towards the booth labeled pick up. "they give you a discount for helping others so make sure to take a look around. there is a stall whose blueberries are perfectly in season right now."
The boy relaxed against the stall, taking in the bustling market around him. "It's fine, I don't really need it," he mentioned casually. He couldn't quite pinpoint why he had decided to visit the market, perhaps just to pass the time, but then recalled that he needed to collect an order for his mother. "I'm just here to pick up an order, I suppose," he added with a shrug, flashing a smile at the girl as he stowed the order in his backpack slung over his shoulders.
gabriela looked up at him with big doe-like eyes after he pulled back, her lips still pouting from the kiss. every time he came back from these trips, the two would wind up in the same position, waking up tangled in sheets, while one of them as the big spoon. she'd welcome it every time, never once complaining. when tyler closed the spaced between them a chill ran up her spine, placing her palms on the counter behind them, she lifted her body up and sat on the edge of the cool tile, the icy feeling against her warm skin made her gasp softly. gabi's legs wrapped around his waist, making sure there was no space between them, as she tilted her head with a devious grin. leaning forward, she got close to his ear and whispered. "i miss the way you feel against me." biting her lip, she then kissed his earlobe softly, before pulling back to look him in the eyes.
"you did tell me everything by the way, so since i always keep my promises." their hands gripped the bottom of an already small shirt before slowly lifting it above their head, throwing it swiftly to the side, to reveal a sheer bra underneath. "i guess you could say, i was prepared." tyler would find out soon that her underwear matched.
she told him that he didn't have to thank her , but honestly he believed that she had deserved so much more . she deserved everything , she had deserved all of him and he knew that he would do anything for her , including die . after gabriela spoke all the lockwolf could do was smile softly as he felt her thumbs rub across his cheek . " me too " he confessed after she spoke about being happy that he was home .
he was lost in her gaze , she had the ability to make him feel like he was the only man in the world . her kind words were empowering as she kissed his lips softly . tyler hands moved to hold her face . " i know i'm not supposed to thank you but thank you . " he spoke before he kissed her back softly . " for being a wonder mother . . " he hummed against her lip . " and this is for being a damn good wife . " he kissed her deeply . his lips pressed into her sweet ones finding them to be addictive . all these years his fire still burned for her . still yearning for her touch , her kiss , and her love . " god i want you . " he confessed against her lips as he moved his body closer to her leaving no space .
gabriela knew the rosza family well, josh was a huge help in the transition of soul bringer to something calmer. with that, she was able to meet blossom and since her father helped so much, it felt like duty to do the same for his children. so gabi knew not to press the girl any further, shrugging their shoulders they leaned against the tree with a light sigh. "i won't lie something is going on, but i can't place my finger on it just yet."
taking a pause, the demon pushed through the nervousness and simply asked the question. "have you had any nightmares recently?"
“it’s fine.” blossom commented with a small shrug of her shoulders. eyes moving from the other to her sketch pad, hand continuously drawing at a rapid pace. drawing, it was one way she found could help clear her mind, especially with the uneasiness she had been feeling. it sometimes helped either clear her mind fully or put everything into perspective.
“I’ve been..” a pause for a moment, another shrug of her shoulders. “y’know the usual.” it was the best she could come up with. “what about you? how’s everything going?”
of course, lizzie thought that josie and hope brought her back, the three of them made a promise the night before the merge. to find a way to bring back whomever lost the merge and never stop trying. hope and josie did their best, dove into some terrifying magic in the process, but never managed to find any light at the end of the tunnel. holding her twin tightly, she took in the others smell and touch. something she yearned for since the last time the two held hands and prepared for the worst 3 years ago. shaking her head softly, the siphoner bit her lip as tears welled once again. "no, no we didn't. we tried lizzie, but no spell could bring you back and it broke the two of us."
that was summing it up nicely, she thought as she pulled away and looked into her sisters eyes. "lizzie i am so sorry, i failed you and i'll never forgive myself for it." this should've been a happier reunion, but the last 3 years had been hell for josie. she stopped enjoying things, only talking to people when it was required to then go home, alone. she was a shell of a person and even though their parents tried hard to get her back on track, josie would always find a way to fall off again. "i've honestly been a spinster since that night." she admitted.
hearing her sisters voice, her eyes shot open and the grin spread across her lips. “i mean, you do have a point, it is why you were always the smart one.” she grinned as she watched Josie. a sense of calmness washed over Lizzie. it felt amazing to hold Josie again. pulling back ever so slightly, fingers brushed away her sister tears. “well there is only one lizzie saltzman, so of course it’s really me.” she spoke, eyes examining Josie.
“why are you so shocked I’m here?” a knot forming in her stomach, the realisation that maybe josie and hope didn’t have any part in this. “surely you knew I would be back..”
once he gripped her tight, it felt as if she could breath. burying her head into his chest, eleanor took in his embrace. tears flooded her eyelids but she was too tired to make a noise, but for the first time she felt less anxious. shaking her head softly, her voice was muffled from how close she was to him. "don't, it's okay you don't need to be sorry." it was a mistake and she knew that. after taking some time to take him in, she pulled back and looked him in the eyes. "you don't need to be sorry, i could see it in your eyes. can you just stay with me? i need a bath and a cheeseburger." she admitted, feeling as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. "i missed you so much..."
nikolas was taken aback to say the least . when eleanor grabbed his hand something shifted inside him . it was like he felt himself come alive again , but how was this possible . it was a feeling of relief that rushed over him when he realized he wasn't going insane . " don't be sorry . " the realization that she was real changed something in the tribrid . and her confession about crawling out of a grave and being such a mess made him instantly wrap his arms around her . regardless of his fear of hurting her he couldn't bear being separated from her anymore . large arms held her tight . " god i missed you elle . . i'm so sorry . " he breathed . " i'm so . . so sorry . i should have been more careful i shouldn't have lost control . " he began to confessed .
'Cause yesterday, I felt like dancin' Tomorrow, maybe I'll cry Today, I feel like watchin' So let them walk on by, yeah Oh, today, I don't feel like talkin' Oh, soak me into the walls And I'll just watch the world go I'll watch you pass on by, yeah
the confession made her frown, but not because she was upset. there was just so much happening at once, for all of them and the demon couldn't stop any of it. "oh baby, that's a lot to deal with at once. how are you feeling?" gabriela was so grateful that tyler was there. even if he also changed, having her father there must've been a comfort to mariana. they'd seen tyler's change a few times, it took a few years before he felt comfortable enough. she would've waited forever because being there for that felt special. he allowed her into such a personal space and it made her love him even more. "if you want i can be there next time."
The young Mariana Lockwood decided to sit up a little as she listened to her mother. "I'm safe now, Momma, but there's something I need to tell you," she admitted, nervously fidgeting with the hem of her shirt. She wanted to confess to the older woman that she had turned, but she wasn't sure how her mother would react. “It's okay, Momma, really it is," Mariana said, trying to reassure herself as she braced for her mother's response. "I-I had to turn, I-I'm a werewolf. Papa saw me turn," she finally confessed, looking down, frightened of her mother's reaction.
how are you feeling now that lizzie is finally back? (josie)
"i feel like i have a second chance at so many things. yet it's also terrifying because no matter how hard hope and i tried we couldn't bring her back. it will be better once i know what brought her back, or at least i hope it will. " @terroremarium
it was far too early for gabriela's face to show the exact amount of excitement that ran though her body once elena pulled out the extra coffee. machine coffee was the bane of the demons existence, it provided no actual energy and tasted burnt. taking the cup as if it was treasure, she smiled sweetly at the other, grateful to be so in sync.
"I mean unless someone that was raised from the dead was really bad, like not a demon who fell in love and is grumpy about life in general." before meeting tyler, gabi's life was filled with violence and moments that would stick with her for the rest of her life. even if she managed to do good things now, it would never erase the things they did. only few knew that she was a demon, not wanting it to get around town, it wasn't easy to explain. "does uhh damon know that you are part of the faction? cause i haven't told tyler yet, but i plan to when he comes home..." she trailed off a smirk on her lips. "it will probably be the next morning when i actually manage to say something."
Elena leaned back into the car and pulled out a second coffee. "Call it intuition," she said as she handed it over to her friend. She was going to use it to bribe the morgue guy, but she had other tricks up her sleeve if necessary.
As they walked into the hospital, Elena scanned her badge and let them into the service elevator that would take them downstairs. "Yeah, I don't believe it, either. Unless we're missing something, it seems like the dead that have been raised are innocent." She thought about Summer, certainly she wasn't out there killing witches and vampires, right? "It's too close to be a coincidence, but why would they raise the dead and then kill more supernatural?" Whoever was behind the recent goings on had to have some kind of master plan, and Elena was determined to figure out what it was.
