a genuine smile grew on her face, as she move closer to felicity. allowing the comfort of the others presence to wash over her anxious body. "thanks, i feel so touchy with everyone. like when i'm with someone i know and trust, it's easier for me to breath." eleanor hated feeling this dependent on others, her whole life she was good at being alone, but it had been weeks since she had been able to be by herself. looking over at the sketchbook, she tilted her head and smiled. "i wish i knew what i needed, i'm just nervous all the time and every day there are these new memories that come back and it hurts cause how could i forget them?" no one wrote a book on how to handle coming back from the dead. "also not really sure how to tell a therapist about all this."
Felicity nodded, her focus still on her sketchbook as she listened intently. A warm smile graced her lips as she glanced up at the other girl. "It's okay. Is there anything you need?" she inquired, closing her book with care and turning her full attention to her companion. "You can come in if you want. I don't bite," she assured, her tone friendly and welcoming. Felicity was making an effort to be hospitable and approachable, hoping to put the other girl at ease with her offer of openness and friendliness.
her eyebrows rose at his quip, taking a deep inhale, trying to stuff away her annoyance. josie had met eli before, her family became much bigger after her mother married klaus. something that she found helpful after the merge. losing such a huge part of her, still never healed but having so many people around that cared, helped her on the darker days. rolling her eyes she looked up to eli and then back at the papers. "yeah well there's a first time for everything." once grabbing the last piece, she managed to shuffle them back into place before getting up from her knees.
"you know for being so tall and strong, you could've put that to use with the cleanup." brushing her legs, she placed a hand on her hip. josie was exhausted so that made her tempers flare, but eli hadn't really done anything wrong. it wasn't his fault he was built like a quarterback, sighing she smiled softly. "sorry, i uhh haven't really slept well so any minor inconvenience has just made me grumpy."
Eli had felt the same shift as other had commented on. It felt like something big and insidious lurking in corners, but no one had any idea what. As he made his way through town, he saw the female and smirked to himself. Of course Eli had the arrogance not just of that of a mikaelson but also from his father and that gave him an unruly confidence. As he approached his cousins friend, he was soon colliding into her as she came crashing into her body.
He had stopped just before her but not seeing him had caused his larger frame to knock her back and her paperwork fall to the ground. He looked down to it before moving his hues upwards towards the other for a moment as she spoke. "Well that's not exactly the greeting I was expecting...I don't usually hit girls off their feet... although seeing them at my feet isn't that uncommon.." he remarked.
once getting their drink, gabriela's attention quickly went back to their daughter, noticing anger bubbling in her chest. narrowing her eyes, she watched as kaya spoke a name into existence that she had tried to keep locked up tightly in her past. she wasn't able to hide her reaction, almost choking on the drink before placing a finger up. needing time to gather herself before even daring to explain who raymis was. taking a bigger sip of her drink, she placed it back on the bar and sighed. this wasn't the time or place she planned on telling her daughter all about her torrid past, filled with violence and a darkness she hoped to never possess again.
"that name does mean something to me..." placing a hand on her daughters, she took a deep breath. "raymis and i knew each other when i was a working for arcadius. i gave a demon my soul because of what happened to your aunt and that's why i am what i am now. raymis and i were together for a little bit but nothing serious ever came out of it. so whatever he has told you, it's not true. you daddy is tyler lockwood." she mocked the term raymis loved to be called, rolling her eyes before tilting her head. "i'm sorry i never told you much about those days, they are just very dark for me. it's hard to not have your daughter think you aren't a monster when you are a literal demon."
"Ah, shit," Kaya said under her breath when her mom sat down next to her. "Busted," she joked, giving the bartender a slight nod when he looked in her direction. Surely just one more couldn't hurt anyone.
But how was she supposed to tell her mom about what had happened? About what that demon had said about her? Was there even any truth to his words? She hated how easily her mom could tell exactly how she was feeling with a quick glance. Despite desperately trying to keep her feelings on the inside, they always leaked out into her expressions and body language. Her shoulders tensed even more, her anger squeezing them in.
"It's fine, Mom," Kaya commented, "If I said the name Raymis... would that mean anything you?" The demon raised a brow, looking at their Mom, watching for any change in their expression.
Foolish men have tried But only you have shown me how to love being alive Until it's time to see the light I'll make my own with you each night I'll kidnap all the stars and I will keep them in your eyes

there was a shift in the mood once gabriela realized it was maddison, a smile grew on her face before nodding at the comment. "you're right, but you know i can't resist them. i think that's why your dad is setting up that tomato garden in the yard." the b&b was doing well these days, which was helpful now that a lot of her kids were either about to leave or already had. giving her daughter a sweet smile, she nodded. "yeah, yeah i'm fine just didn't sleep to well last night. once this coffee hits i'll be good as new." she smirked before taking another sip of her drink while looking around the rest of the farmers market. "want to help me finish shopping? i think one of those pastry stands you like is here today."
Maddison's smile brightened at the sound of her mother's familiar voice. "I believe we have plenty at home, mom. Someone else can have it," she responded, gently placing the fruit back on the table with care. Looking up at her mother with affection, Maddison leaned towards the stall, her concern evident in her voice, "Are you okay, ma?" she inquired, arching an eyebrow inquisitively. The genuine care and attentiveness in Maddison's gesture reflected the strong bond and empathy she shared with her mother, embodying a sense of compassion and consideration in their interactions.
I know you don’t believe in this, in us, yet. But you will. Oh, I’ve been looking for someone like you for a long, long time.
hayley rolled her eyes at his comments, they'd known each other for years now and still there had been no change in her reaction. however, it was now always followed with a cheeky smile, knowing that was always the way to soothe the original. "you've had to holler for me since we met." a smirk grew on her lips before shaking her head softly. "klaus we have gone over this before, we are not disbanding the faction. it is still getting it's bearings and with this serial killer on the loose, it's needed more than ever."
rolling her shoulders back, she folded her arms and gave klaus a glare. "have you seen that boy our daughter has been sneaking around with? he reminds me of you and i hate that she grew up with my taste in men. her taste in women has always been better."
"Sine when do I need to hollor after the mother of my first born," he said stepping into line with hayley. "You know I heard rumors again, about people disliking all the faction members being Mikaelson's," he commented. That was people for you, never good enough. "We need to end this before it becomes a problem."
the moon card // upright: unconscious, illusions, intuition // reversed: confusion, fear, misinterpretation
which wolf wins? i guess it really depends, just gotta wait and see, which one's appеtite's the biggest. turns out I'm livin' in a horror film whеre I'm both the killer and the final girl. so who, who are you? -- paramore you first
for hayley to move on from everything that happened with her past, she had to focus a lot on her unconscious mind. by doing so, she was able to trust her intuition and become the person she'd always hoped to be. in motherhood, she made sure her children were aware that it is okay to dream and have an imagination. helping them become aware that what some say are illusion, are just a deeper part of your being.
since the masquerade, she has become a little bit shaken with fear. her family's safety has always come first. the hybrid is a firm believer of always and forever and will make sure to do what is often more than needed when it comes to their protection. this can often lead to confusion on hayley's part, as she will do anything in her power to make sure that her children and husband are safe. when in these hyper-aware states, she can be misrepresented as someone much crueler than she could ever be. can hayley keep her sanity while also defending her family against inadu?

the fool card // upright: innocence, new beginnings, free spirit // reversed: recklessness, taken advantage of, inconsideration
that's not right, there's a person behind those eyes. that's not right, any crack is a sign of lies. that's not cool, everybody needs a fool, i'll be your fool -- djo fool
eleanor has always held an innocence that often, gets her into trouble. still because of that trait, she also has been able to make wonderful opportunities for herself, such as, her book deal. all of that potential was cut short, when she was killed in a tragic accident. however being in new orleans, means that being dead isn't always permanent. meaning new beginnings for the un-trigged werewolf. now that she is back from the grave, she has decided to take this opportunity to live a life that she won't regret. allowing her free spirit to shine brighter.
yet, it can't all be that picture perfect. with the evil lurking the streets of new orleans it's only bound to start up eleanor's recklessness. for someone who holds such empathy it's easy for her to be taken advantage of. one of her darker traits, is that when on a mission she can become inconsiderate, is it possible that eleanor can break free of whatever inadu has in store for her?
the demon tilted their head with a sweet smile, happy to take the compliment in. "thank you hope. i have a few other plans with this outfit, tyler is not happy about the whole me joining the faction, but it's kinda hard to be mad when i look like this." her hands hovered around her breasts before letting out a chuckle, admiring the humor that poured out of the tribrid beside her. she was a lot like her mother and father, it seemed like every good part of klaus managed to shine with his daughter. something that gabriela could relate to even though she'd never tell him that. "ohh yeah, i forgot you don't really need to do the whole breathing thing. i'm sure your mom would love this conversation if i was not having it with you."
gabriela hated the way her family and the mikaelsons still held such anger towards each other. it was something she hoped to change, but the murders got in the way of that plan. hayley had already agreed, that there was no need for any of them to hate one another. all of them had done some horrible things, all out of fear and thinking it would provide their loved ones safety. "hope can i just say, it has been really nice seeing you and kaya be friends. i know there is a lot of bad feelings our families have had towards each other...." they'd never say it, not yet, but they also loved hope and her siblings. the demon took great pride in her family and that love grew bigger, as she met other families who held that loyalty as well. "i wish i could change the things that had been done, the things i've done, but we just can't and it also doesn't help to hold it in."
" WELL IF IT HELPS ANY, you are an absolute vision, gabbi. " the tribid complimented with a bright smile, tense shoulders relaxing slightly despite the tinge of animosity held for her husband hope wasn't unaware of the reason why it existed and while that often made for an awkward moment or millions between herself and kaya ⸺ she couldn't deny the high regard she placed her friend in and that somewhat extended to her mother, even if such sentiment would NEVER actually feel true where tyler was concerned. " at the very least, we'd be having a better time breathing. " she mused with a snort. " suppose it's lucky, that technically i don't have to. " the advantages of an activated vampire side. " secret is safe with me, after all if i told her you said it, then i'd have to admit i HEARD it and that just opens an entirely different can of worms... that none of us deserve to dive in to. "
