A Blessed Equinox to everyone, today. My thanks to the Old Ones for the Father that was mine, passed the Veil 19 years ago today. Whenever I note a Redtail watching me, I know he is, too. Love you, Richard.

Wanza, at 87, heading for a wedding...with a biscuit for her Schnauzer. (Who was peaved that Mom was going somewhere without her...the nerve!)
What a fine lady you've been. We'll miss you so much... Morena, September 2007 to today...
Grateful for another Yule.
Back before I started wearing a helmet whilst on the bike...age and a nasty wreck reconfigured my thinking, as opposed to my head or face. Not to mention the look on my Loki’s face as she was coming into the hospital foyer, with thoughts of my stepping off in her head. Rumor mill had me pretty much done. Not this time!
Concerns about the new guidelines
Well, this was originally supposed to be set up on the “Support” page, but somehow it made it back here, minus everything I typed. My question was, having had a jewelry repair post flagged NSFW - scroll down a bit at Formations so you can see my response to it - I wanted to know something: Is “Support” going to simply de-activate every blog that has had a flagged post? One other thing: I have tried to back up my blog since all this came about, and it doesn’t seem to want to do so; it has been “Backup Processing” for about 22 hours now…Seriously? I may have some NSFW things to say right here (OOooOOOooo! LOL) about it if I can’t get some feedback…
So, the Staff has decided to censor/remove any and all NSFW sites. Is this the same staff that labled one or more of my jewelry repair posts NSFW? Guess I'd better back up Formations before it gets rat-holed, huh
What a difference 10 1/4 years makes...Miss Morrie last year, at 10, and 9 3/4 years before. Love my old girl.
A visitor to my garage over Labor Day weekend. His/her coloration was different from the Colorado Mud Toads that I see round these parts. Set the little critter down across the road, where it is close to a little canal.
One more from Idaho, 2009. Craters of the Moon, with the guilty party(cinder cone) in the background. (Since visiting Kilauea is currently out of the question! Sigh...Love of volcanology...)
Riding the Mackay Loop, up into the Sawtooth Range, 2009, with Kev, Steve, & Brett...and now it’s just Steve and I. Big Kev and Brett have passed the Veil...miss you, my brothers. Looking forward to being in Idaho again.

Old School. Hand wrought for GRV. Layered plate, stamped, shaped and soldered, sanded, restamped and polished.
Since when do folks flag pictures of jewelry repairs NSFW? Is it because there's nekkid silver there, or what??
Horseshoe Mesa, from Grandview Point. I've backpacked and camped there many times. There is also at least one cave system in the mesa, called Cave of the Domes. A cathedral unlike anything made by humanity...
Bracelet repairs. New clasp for the links, and soldering a broken bracelet back together. That clasp was a challenge!
Mt. St Helens, form the northeast, 1987. Before any visitors center, or for that matter, anything...
North of Mt. St Helens, just inside the northern edge of the blowdown zone, 1987. The road I used, which I believe was 26, appears to be closed now. If I’m wrong, somebody say so, eh?
