it’s okay to be an independent kid. in a community where 90% of the kids in it desire caregivers and base most of the activities around it, i understand feeling out of place. older kids may feel different because they don’t need their mom or dad as much as a toddler regressor may need them. teen regressors may feel outcasted because they don’t /need/ a mom or dad and they’d much rather game or watch movies all day under no supervision. i want to remind you that no matter how you are, caregiver needing or caregiver-less and happy, you are so important to this community and your place here matters. being different is beautiful and it’s something you should embrace. you are beautiful, always. inside and out, kiddo!

I love secondhand plushies! I love going to thrift stores and finding new friends! I love taking them home and giving them baths and brushouts! I love adopting already loved plushies from other folks' collections online! I love loving them again! I love brushing out their mats, cleaning their eyes, fixing their stuffing, and just generally bringing life back into a friend! I love bringing home plushies that have sat on shelves for years, collecting dust and finally loving them! I love saving the environment by not buying new and encouraging the production of more when we already have everything we need! I love secondhand plushies!!!
btw if u were a stuffed animal i would gently brush ur fur out of ur eyes so that u can see :)
every stuffed animal is unique. the seams are never identical, their face shape, the light their eyes hold, the places where fur gets worn is unique to every plushie. you own a one of a kind artwork. love its imperfections !!
