He chuckled lightly at her introduction, wiping her tear away before ruffling her quills, “Pleased to meet you at last Rory. But if you don’t mind.. I think I’ll call you Light.”

I had to draw fanart from KBSpeeding’s “The Evil in Us” fanfiction. My brain would not let me draw anything else until I got this done! This was my favorite scene from Chapter 13, though it pains me to draw these two all dirty and beat up with matted fur.

BONUS AU STORY:

Shadow (the Angel of Death) and Aurora (the Seraph) are starcrossed lovers. In order to be together, they both have to sacrifice their immortality by wedding before God and having their wings torn from them before they are banished to the mortal realm. To Shadow, who has been suffering from eternal pain and wounds that would never heal, mortality is a reward for having served as the reaper, a position nobody would ever take on before him. His wounds are sealed and he no longer suffers the torment that he was cursed to bear. To Aurora though, who was part of the highest court, the process is nearly fatal since she had never experienced real pain before. Shadow is also well-versed in the ways of mortals, since he has spent his entire existence moving between the spiritual realms and mortal realm. He has to teach Aurora how to live as a real hedgehog.

I don’t like to share my more sensual work because I get too nervous and worry people will make assumptions about me or something, but this was an idea I had that I just really really liked and I hadn’t seen on any other fan art or done in any fan fiction and I thought it might be good enough to share with you all. I have a lot of ideas but since I don’t really have the time to write out FF it either ends up in a comic stored in a folder in my computer or it just stays in my head.
