Female Awesome Meme: [3/10] female characters who deserve better – Nebula (MCU)
“I will hunt my father like a dog, and I will tear him apart slowly… piece by piece, until he knows some semblance of the profound and unceasing pain I knew every single day.”
What the crap is this? Are they taunting us?
Fandom is becoming increasingly toxic and I’m so disappointed, I thought we grew past this shit. Some of ye need to learn that people can have different opinions to you and they should be free talk about said opinions. If it differs to yours you should not label them sexist, racist, homophobic or a general bigot. Absolutely call out stuff that is actual proper harmful bigotry, but that’s not what this was about. This is about petty and harmful behaviour used to silence people. To accuse someone of being that just because their take is different to yours is incredibly harmful. These words hold some power. They’re meant to shame someone and make them reflect on their actions. By throwing it around you’re making that word lose power. You’re making people not care about actual issues because they’ll brush it off like it’s another non-issue wrongfully labelled as problematic.
The idea that “I am right and you are wrong, therefore you’re problematic” (empathising that I mean when this is used in the wrong context) is absolutely ridiculous and if you behave like this- shutting down other people because they don’t agree with your specific narrative- you should probably take a step back until you learn how to engage properly online.
TL;DR: you are allowed to have different fucking opinions on media. Be respectful.

you don’t have to cancel everyone the second they misstep or do something dumb but you also DON’T have to defend everything that your fave does. you can say “hey this particular thing sucked” without getting into this all-or-nothing mentality. you are not an extension of the things you like. you can think freely and criticize the things (and people) that you like, and a criticism of something you like is not something that you should take personally or feel the need to correct/defend.
Wow, this is some clunky exposition. They are literally showing us an informational video.
“She's not alone.”
“This is gonna work, Steve.”
“Even if there's a small chance that we can undo this, I mean, we owe it to everyone who is not in this room, to try.”
“Whatever it takes.”
“Scott, I get emails from a raccoon. So, nothing sounds crazy anymore.”
“See you in a minute.”
“If we don't get that stone, billions of people stay dead.”
“You tell them yourself.”
“Let me go.”
