You don't need to tell people all about your trauma in order for them to respect your triggers.

You don't need to disclose why something bothers you or hurts you for someone to respect it.

People should just respect that something hurts you without demanding or expecting to know more.

Your trauma is your own personal story that you have control over whether or not you decide to share.

It's personal and no one else is entitled to it.

Your triggers, however, hurt you and make your life painful and difficult and so it's necessary that people respect them and are mindful of them.

And so I finished watching the fear street trilogy via Netflix. It did not disappoint. I love R.L. Stine ever since Elementary days. Ps Goosebumps hello I love that book series (hi night of the living dummy slappy). He was like the stephen king of my younger days. I had always fancy horror fiction films with a touch of nostalgia. The vintage, classic vibe of this trilogy is mostly what drew me to watch it aside from the fact that it was written by R.L. Stine. This film made me think about vhs days. Hahaha

The story took place in different eras, 90s, 70, and 60s. It was about how the town of Shadyside, Ohio was plagued by a curse for over three centuries while their neighboring town Sunnyvale always thrived and had a good life. The film had something to do with witches, murders, curses, struggles of repressed sexuality, and so on. This is an interesting film and a recommended one, but not for the faint-hearted. Haha

I am hopeful that this trilogy will have a part 4 someday especially as seen in the end that someone took the book. Who might that be?

Ps. oh the cast were mostly from stranger things.
