Holy shit this took way too long. I was almost done with drawing her but kept procrastinating on finishing the shading for the cloths.

Look at my girl! The only problem with doing a more finished piece is that once I start it I can't move on or else I'll abandon it. This means I do EVERYTHING one at a time, and while it isn't the most efficient system, it's the one that works for me.

A little lore for Lily, the first autobot she meets is Ratchet! He is being sold as a retired ambulance, and while her parents were a little confused at first, they quickly bought him for her. Of course Ratchet isn't going to actually stick around... until he gets attached. She finds out about him after a nice long panic attack! Now she has 3 fathers, because of course I ship Ironhide and Ratchet... god I'm so pathetic, but yay 4 parents! She is legally an adult, but she relies heavily on Kujo and her parents to function. She will be ok on her own someday, just not anytime soon. She also often acts like a child to make up for her very shity childhood. Her parents were great their family is just cursed when it comes to just trying to live a normal life.

Another clothing study, went with a comfy outfit, maybe something you might wear when you don't feel your best.

Just threw something quick together for this week, I need to work on drawing cloths. I like the tops but the pants and shoes don't really do it for me, just gonna have to practice some more :P

Another one of Lily, been thinkin about putting runes on her back and I think I did ok. The proportions are not my favorite but I've never done a back shot so that is to be expected. In the black box is how they normally look. How they are on her back is when there is excess energy. Also gave her whole body a shadow so you can really tell its glowing!

Lore of why they are there? Cult, she was born for a cult ritual. Luckily she was found at 2, adopted at 4, and still has NO idea she was born into a cult! Ya, her parents think she has enough PTSD right now. Plus drama >:D

The runes don't show up until she comes into contact with a certain mineral ;) I can't let you forget she is a transformers oc.

This is Kujo! (sounds similar to kaiju)

I based him off of the Cane Corso since I wanted him to be a big boy, he is Lily's service dog! Kujo is her second dog, the first being a germen shepherd named Missy (also a service dog). He is also a trained guard dog, curtesy of Lily's mother being a bit overprotective after a few events. Lily is 5'2, so Kujo stands a little above her waist. The perfect cuddle buddy when your having a panic attack and hurting yourself! God why do I give all my characters trauma, I gotta stop doing this :P

Kujo is a very gentle boy, he knows his own strength and is very careful about not hurting others, especially those smaller than him. Though he will attack if given the signal or if Lily is freaking out and the people around seem a threat. Very smart boy, he is able to do his job without Lily talking, which helps when she goes non-verbal. When he isn't working he's bouncing around and exploring everything, tho never strays too far from her. He loves his mom and does such a good job of taking care of her.

You know when you watch a movie w/ your family and now you HAVE to draw something for it but its 11 at night? Ya I gave up sleeping at 4 in the morning and just drew this. The insomnia and hyperfixation has cursed me :(

Anyway, new hyperfixation is.... Transformers!!! And you may note that this isn't a character you know. That's because she's mine... god I already got another one ;-; it hasn't even been 24 hours yet... AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Ya know I got to make an oc that's the main character... and I will not go into the cringe cage, YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!!!

Posting twice today was not on my calendar. Maya was finished last week I was just waiting to post her for this week :P

I have been asked by multiple people if I do commissions, and the answer is not yet. I’m currently just enjoying my time and doing as I please. But I might start doing commissions sooner than later. Right now I’m just looking for art schools and trying to post weekly. So it may take a while

You know I almost cried during this ones ugly phase but it got done. The shading really helped bring this together.

Anyway, this is my oc Mara. She lives in a village on the very outskirts of a large kingdom. Left her home at 20, made it to the village and set up at 21-22, and she is living there happily at 25! I love this girl so much and she really pulls her wait around town. The whole village is a tight nit community and though at first they were hesitant, they quickly grew to love her. Unlike other villages, this one mostly dose trades, of course they will happily take your money!

Once every other month she will hold a large gathering at her house in the forest for the whole village to join, she started this tradition her first winter there. We love a girl boss that almost gets herself killed in order to feed an entire village.

Horses are hard to draw, riding them is much easier than drawing them for me. But my new oc has a stallion so gotta start studying!

Haven't uploaded this week yet so yall get a WIP. I don't have a name for her yet, but she does have a story, not connected to Ninjago at all. We might end up circling back around to HTTYD here soon idk. You know how ADHD and hyperfixation be.

Still on ninjago, so that might come back next week.

This is Ruby! His body may be fully grown, but his mind has not aged past 9 in human years. When Kai passed his powers to Yoko, he felt the need to protect her. Then he found Ruby, a very malnourished dragon that would die soon if no one helped him. With consent from Ruby and help from the FSM, their soles were tied together and Kai started to take care of their body. Due too Ruby's disassociation, he doesn't really remember much before Kai came.

Ruby very much sees Kai as his dad, even though they share a body. With Kai helping him, he started disassociating less and even started to take control over their body. He very rarely is in control, but a win is a win. These pictures are how they see each other. Kai has no memories from before. This means the first few weeks they were surviving on pure instinct. While Kai does have all of Ruby's memories, he has basically non of his own, only remembering he wasn't always there with Ruby and Yoko was someone to protect.

I'm very happy with their character designs. The stripes come from Kai as you can see, and the main coloration comes from Ruby.

Ok, I still believe Kai was the main medic, but Zane would constantly help him and could do it all on his own after a while. But since Kai died, Zane had to step into the role of team medic. He never encroached on Kai's job unless the man was unavailable or needed to be patch up himself, so taking over the job of medic felt weird. He feels as if he is replacing Kai, and absolutely hates it.

When Yoko and Kai first meat the ninja, he is weak. His jaw is tied shut with metal wire, and much like crocs when their jaws are held shut, he doesn't have the power to open his jaws enough to melt the metal. Zane manages to help him and while suspicious, he leads the ninja back to his cave. Zane is the first ninja to earn his trust, and when Yoko expresses she wants to go with them, Kai agrees. They end up going to the monastery and Kai stays in the old dragon stables. Yoko still sleeps with her dad though, she is a daddy's girl.

Some more info, Kai actually has two kids! Yoko, and the dragon he is sharing a body with. I haven't named his son yet, but he is often disassociating. Sadly, without Kai taking care of their body, he would have died. He mostly sits with Kai as they go about their day, not really wanting to control his own body. Strangely, he is much happier with Kai running things, but he is slowly driving their shared body more! I'll draw a pic of the two of them at some point so you can see their dynamic.

This is Greg. Greg is the little monster that gives you the bad thoughts. Greg is a bitch ass motherfucker and needs to chill out, my god Greg. Greg deserves to be throne into a pit of acid. And you can do this for just 0.99$!!!! Anyway, have a guy to beat up when you feel down, Greg deserves to be your punching bag and you can get him for just 0.01$!

Feel free to draw Greg in terrible situations, it might make you feel better :)

The child is a little gremlin, she will climb just about anything. But 9 times out of 10 she won't be able to get herself down. Also I have named this au Forgotten Memories. Silly au gets silly name

The First Encounter

OH GOD ITS AN OC, NOOOOOO

This is Yoko, and she is the one Kai passed his powers too. She is 12 by the time the Ninja meet her and has been living with Dragon Kai for about a year and a half. It's been 2 years since his death. This girl has very terrible self preservation instance as she clung to a LITTERAL DRAGON AT 10 YEARS OLD. (She turned 11 a week after he took her in)

I was looking up names and Yoko means "Child of the Sun" which I thought was fitting. I didn't just want her to be new fire user TM so here are some of her hobbies.

She is very cute and loves her dragon dad. Her main colors are Lavender and dark pinks with baby blue accents. I do need a different name for Kai, as he doesn't remember his name and was just called "dad" for the last year and a half. I am open to suggestions!

DRAGON TIMEEE

Ok, you know when you make up a story in your head and it slowly evolves into a masterpiece of angst? Ya that, I'm doing that. I LOVE dragons, the wof series is great. (This is not a skywing, I'm sorryyy) But I'm still on the Ninjago shit, SO KAI AS A DRAGON. Not an au where they were born dragons, he just died and said "Nah bitch, I got shit to do" and then woke up as a dragon. He is a fire dragon, and in this story he chose who would inherit his powers then demanded that he become a mortal again in order to protect her. This boi is a family man and he will protect his family at any cost.

Kai doesn't remember his family from before that well. They seem familiar when they first meet, but he doesn't know who they are. He ended up adopting the little girl he gave his powers too, her parents died and she was going home to home, then she ran into a large dragon and clung to it begging to not have to go back. And like the good boy he is, he grabbed her like a croc would it's babies and brought her to his cave. I think it would be a year and a half by the time the ninja meet this strange family. This is also an au where the merge NEVER HAPPANED. That means Wu is still there but man is practically digging his own grave with the shit he is doing.

Unlike with Nya and Cole, this shit is permanent. He died and he may be alive in a new body, but he has no memories from before. He only knows that he feels like he should protect certain people, and incinerate others :) Also I hc that dragons are much like humans in ninjago. They just don't have a language and live in dens. They can be tamed, but they have to want you as a friend first.

The blue boiiii. I def see Jay as a lanky dude, but I also hc that he is the shortest and Cole is the tallest. Jay is definitely the fastest, Kai being a close second. I also think he has freckles all over, not just on his face.

When you know the lecture is coming...

I personally hc that Kai was the unofficial medic on the team, raising Nya and working in a forge at such a young age meant he needed to learn how to patch them up on his own. And they definitely did not have all the recourses they needed so he learned to work with what he had around him. I also think they found this out when one of them got hurt on mission without a med kit on hand and were absolutely flabbergasted when the team hot head proceeded to calmly patch one of them up.

For ships I personally am a fan of lavashipping. They have a really good dynamic and I can defiantly see them together. Also for Dragons Rising, Kai saw Geo with Cole and immediately thought, ah yes, another hot man. Like he would high five Geo and be like, "Good going man, this guy really is a keeper." and then kiss Cole.

Also I know Kai's arm looks wearied but I wanted to be done with this piece.

More hair studies :P

I said I’d do hair studies. Found a pic I liked and chose a color I got a lot of. Added different colors to block out the light and shadows. This was my first study of the day and I’m definitely gonna have to do more so that will keep me moving. Won’t be posting any digital art the rest of this week, with family.

Coleeee. I don't like how I did his hair so I'm probably gonna change that. This also means I get to do some hair studies, YIPEEEE.

This took longer than expected, ended up having a few days where I never got myself to draw, but I finished it and I'm happy about that. This is also where I inform you that all full body poses showing off scars will the ken dolled.

Also, I fucking pulled an all nighter thanks to the ✨insomnia✨, so now I have another hyperfixation in lego ninjago. I am cursed to make stories and never finish them I swear ;-; But, I will most likely be expanding on my mcsm au and will not stop, this also means I now have a fucking ninjago au in my brain, one I already had in my brain thankfully so I'm not starting from scratch, that I wanna expand upon, so that's happening....

I started writing so I guess I’m fully invested! This is VERY bare bones, so take all the information with a grain of salt. But I wanted to share that I’m starting to get serious about this. Also, next ref sheet will be Axel! I’m so grateful for the 3D models that are free to use bc I really need to be more familiar with different body types before I’m confident enough to actually start drawing sense, but doodles will be drawn!
