you quickly entered the dorm room with a bag of medicine and soup. riki pointed to the room down the hall and you thanked him before rushing to said bedroom.

it was dark inside except for the lamp on sunno’s dresser. a big lump laid under the covers, tissues littering the ground and multiple empty water bottles on his bedside table.

“jungwon i told you i’m fine.” sunoo mumbled from under the duvet with a rough couch. his pink hair peeking out but his face still lay in his pillow.

“riki texted me and said you’re sick,” you called out shutting the door behind you. you set the bag on the floor for a quick second taking your jacket off.

“yn?” sunoo finally threw the blanket off, his nose red and cheeks flushed. his hair disheveled and he lay shirtless.

“why didn’t you tell me you were sick?” you reached the bed sitting beside him. he shook his head leaning against his headboard.

“i don’t want you getting sick either.” his lips pouted slightly and he looked at you. his pretty eyes droopy and hands crawling over to hold your own.

“let me see how hot you are.” you pulled him closer. you placed your back palm on his forehead. your hand was the same temperature, i’d be no use to use your hands.

abruptly, you grabbed his cheeks moving forward to attach your forehead to his. his eyes widened and his lips curved up into a smile. your noses bumped one another and you cracked out in a laugh.

“why did you do that?” he whisperers holding you closer.

“my mom used to check for fevers like this,” you smiled, grabbing the soup from the bag. “it’s still warm.” you took the spoon to his mouth.

before he ate the food he spoke, “i love you.” he bit down on the spoon.

loves spending quality time with you. apart from being spoiled by his constant affection and gifts, jake also prioritizes quality time with you. and usually, he would plan these camping trips just with you and him.

he would tell you to not worry a single thing about the trip, telling you to just prepare yourself with that contagious smile of his and his golden retriever energy that never fails to calm you and make your heart raise. brings all of the necessities the both of you will need in his car and playfully scorns at you when he sees you carrying a duffle bag or two.

the camping trip is always a blast. apart from receiving so many surprises and getting your stomach filled with butterflies by his efforts, he also stays up with you for a few hours, witnessing another sunrise with you wrapped in his arms.

sunghoon is a man of a few words. his energy when hyped and active decreases gradually that sometimes requires him to silence himself in order to recharge, but that doesn't stop him from giving you words of affirmation just before the day ends.

the two of you would lie on bed, the night stand the only source of light as you read, sunghoon laying silently beside you before he would move to turn his body towards your side once the rustle of your closing book resonates in his ears.

your best friends, jimin and soojin, stood next to you, lightly nudging you with excitement about finally being able to see your boyfriend, park “he goes to another school” jongseong for the first time.

you’d talked non-stop about him ever since you two finally started dating after being childhood friends for so long that jimin and soojin knew him probably as well as you did. although, you did withhold some information about him from them, like his family life, his fortune, his livelihood. they’d only seen pictures of him on both of your social media accounts, on which he appeared as just a normal highschool boy.

they hadn’t met him yet, considering the fact that you ended up going to different highschools and your two excited friends around you were ones that you’d made during your first week of class. they simply had no prior knowledge of him before that.

your eyes glanced over the text you had sent to your boyfriend 10 minutes prior that read “please don’t tell me you’re coming in anything flashy." 

a text that he had left on read.

full disclosure, you loved your boyfriend dearly. you loved him past his wealth and flashiness and love to show off. 

as you waited at the front of your school for him to come by to pick you up, you scrolled through your previous text messages with him recounting your date plans for the night after you’d both gotten out of school. he told you he’d pick you up after your classes, and you obliged without thinking about the fact that your friends had never met your boyfriend before.

jimin and soojin’s jaws dropped at the realization, and your cheeks heated up when you became aware of all the attention you were getting from everyone around you. you shook your head quickly and walked toward his car, reaching for the door handle.

he quickly made his way over to your side, intercepting your attempts to let yourself into his car, placing his own hand over the handle.

your best friends watched in amazement as the door opened upwards and he helped you step into the car, him closing it behind you and making his way to his side.

you glanced over at the girls, giving them a sheepish smile and wave through the window as they continued to stand there, stunned and speechless.

when you heard jay’s door close, you turned to him with a playfully angry look in your eyes.

Tossing and turning in your bed, sleep was far from your plans at this point but you were trying so hard because you wanted to feel energetic for the upcoming day since you had days off of work, finally. You wanted to use them to the max. Huffing you finally landed in a comfortable position on your back. At least for now.

Finally feeling tirendness, you relaxed hoping you'd fall into a deep sleep soon, but it was all interrupted by your phone ringing. You groaned and aggressively pushed the covers off your body and grabbed your charging phone, unhooking it at the same time. "What?" you wanted to sound cold but it sounded more of a sleepy tired and low whisper tone. Hearing a chuckle that you knew oh, so well, come from the other side of the phone you rolled your eyes.

"Fuck you want Park?" you sighed and laid back on the bed. "Your attention." he said with his deep ass voice, sending shivers down your spine.

Park Jay. Your one and only rival in many ways. Schools grades, popularity, damn even your families were at each other's throats, so these late night phone calls and late night meet ups is something so weird for someone to hear that knew the both of you. How all this started is another talk that didn't matter much as much as it mattered to Y/n that he hasn't called for the past few days making you miss him.

You hated the fact that you did because it was all a game to the both of you. Fun. And you wanted to win but he thinks highly of himself. Lately he's been slipping and you didn't like it. Not calling like he used to, giving you little less attention and being constantly with a different girl in his arms everytime you see him.

About you missing him... I mean everyone has issues and one of yours was that you did miss him. And when I say him I mean him only. Sure you've messed around but never had you missed someone. Ever.

"I need your attention sweetheart." he says again. "You know the place." you started and as you finished you looked at your clock on the wall.

00:30am

Perfect - you thought as a smirk grew on your face. "And time Park." you said. You hear him sigh and could feel his small smile through the phone. "I don't wait around Park. Come and take my breath away like you do." you said once again into the phone as you were now on your feet, looking outside of your window that looked right down into the front porch. "Wanna go for a ride maybe?" you asked, hearing no answer from him.

"Come see me face to face Jay."

And that was his last stroke. "How'd you feel about a rendezvous baby?" he hiskily says as you hear shuffling, knowing he's just a few minutes away from your house. "As I said Park, you know the time and place." you say softly, making his heart jump. Staying in silence for a couple minutes you finally saw his car entering your driveway. His tall figure getting out before jumping over the fence, landing straight on his feet as he looks up at the window where you are and smirks up at you.

Next thing you know he climbed up and through your window now standing right in front of you, hand reaching for the phone on you ear, turning it off and throwing it somewhere on your bed. "Glad to know you're still awake sweetheart." he strokes your cheek as you melt under his touch. The tension growing between you two and was ready to burst any moment now.

You could see each other finally,  since both your families were home. As of now, they were not even halfway into their business trip, giving you a chance to sneak around with Jay.

"Glad to know you accepted my invitation." you replied and that were your last words before Jay had captured your lips with his in a deep kiss  completely taking your breath away just how you told him to. You kissed back as your hands moved around his neck, pulling him closer to you as if he was gonna pull away and run.

Jay had smiled into the kiss from your gestures as his hands that were on your waist, tightened their grip on it. "God I missed you." he breathed out between your kiss. "Me or-" "You. All of you." Not even letting you finish your question and answering with a breathy tone as laid you on your bed with him hivering over you. He dove into your lips again, his tongue asking for permission and you let him dearly.

The answer caught you off guard as he never had said that he missed you. Ut was always just coming over for his needs and only for fun then you were back to the normal rivals that liked to throw words at each other or tease each other and get on each other's nerves. But this night was different. You both could feel it in the air and the tension that was still cutting between you.

Jay had his lips on your neck now, giving you soft pecks on some places and then he'd move a spot down and leave a soft mark on it so it would be easy to hide.

His hands were touching you so softly and everytime he changed the hands position he gave you a look, asking for confirmation (not that he had never asked you if you were okay with anything.)

After a few more neck kisses he pulled away and sat on his knees, looking down at you, laid, beneath him, breathing all heavily from the makeout. He was looking at you like as if you were something so dear for him, and you were. He knew it so well but never admitted it.

"I can't continue pretending and playing you like this." he says, catching you off guard. "I know I said our meet ups aren't anything about falling in love but I lied darling." he moved his face between your neck now, kissing it word after word. Your palms had placed themselves on both his cheeks before making him look at you. "Took you long enough to admit huh pretty boy?" you smirked at him.

He chuckled as he kissed your lips with a hum.

"How'd you feel about a rendezvous?" "Rendezvous, time for two."  "I'm not tryna fall in love with you, just tryna do a rendezvous."

We're the exact same words he said the first time he suggested all this and you agreed, kinda hoping it'll end up like how you two were now. And this rendezvous was full of love, taking care of each other through out the night. Jay was especially caring, making you completely forget what you two had between each other but that didn't matter anymore and definitely not tonight.

Its just the two of you.

“You comfy?” Jungwon asked as you hugged his side, nuzzling your face in his neck. You nodded as you inhaled his scent, the familiarity making you feel more warmth than the blankets over your bodies. “Thanks for letting me stay over,” you mumble.

Earlier you'd gone to your boyfriend's place to do some homework, but you hadn't anticipated the thunderstorm. Concerned about the flooded streets, your parents sent you a text advising that it would be safer for you to stay with Jungwon for the night. You two had cuddled multiple times before, but you'd never actually spent the night at each other's places. So, needless to say, your boyfriend was being all nervous because he wanted you to be as comfortable as possible.

He'd lent you some sweatpants and a hoodie for you to sleep in instead of your clothes, and he could've sworn he fell more in love with you by seeing you engulfed in his clothing.

You two had decided to watch a movie since it was still relatively early, bringing you closer to him a few minutes into the film. You could hear his heartbeat as you rested your head on his chest, the soft thumping bringing you peace. His hands gently playing with your hair and him occasionally leaning down to leave a kiss on the top of your head was something you loved.

You looked up to see him facing the screen. Silently, you scanned his features, from his fluffy hair down to his rosy lips. Bringing up a hand to brush his bangs away from his eyes, you smiled in thought, “Sunghoon’s right, you really do look like a cat.”

“He told you that?!” Jungwon groaned, embarrassed. You laughed at his reaction, running your hands through his hair to reassure him that it wasn't a bad thing. “Why are you embarrassed? Cats are cute!”

Letting out a whine, he buried his face into your neck, hiding the blush on his face from you indirectly calling him cute. You wrapped your arms around him, pulling him closer and letting him rest his head on your chest. Now more confident, Jungwon hugged your waist, feeling comfortable in your embrace.

Usually, he'd be the one cuddling you, but for once he didn’t fight it and let himself be cuddled instead. He liked the warmth you provided, the smell of your body wash- inhaling the scent and closing his eyes, he allowed himself to relax. You felt like home to him.

“You should spend the night more often,” he mumbled tiredly, “I want to stay like this forever.” Now it was your turn to lean down and give the top of his head a kiss, noticing how he hugged you tighter as he made himself comfortable. “Me too,” you ran your hands through his hair.

Jungwon let out a yawn, but kept fighting himself about sleeping. “You can sleep Wonnie; I’ll still be here when you wake up.” He looked up at you and lifted his pinkie in front of you, “Promise?” Chuckling at his childish act, you connected your pinkie with his, “I promise. Now go to sleep, I know you’re tired.”

You lulled him to sleep by playing with his hair and occasionally rubbing his back softly. “Won?” you whispered when he felt heavier on you, “Jungwon? Did you fall asleep?” The little snores that escaped his lips were enough to answer your question. Biting back a smile, you adjusted the covers on both of you, making sure you were equally covered.

You pressed a kiss onto his cheek, feeling sleepy yourself before whispering, "Good night, love."

lips still pressed deeply onto yours in a passionate kiss, he picked you up and spun your bodies around once before putting you down and leaning you against the ledge that was beside you.

as you leaned back, your hands moved to hold the sides of his face, and he got to kiss you deeper, before you pulled your head back with joyful laughter escaping your lips.

and as you brought your head up again, eyes meeting his filled with love and a desire for more, with his body still pressed against your own, he smiled at you. you laughed against his lips, and he couldn’t help but place them back on yours once again, showing you more, just how much he loved you.
