Hey Eman, thanks for reaching out and allowing me to share your go fund me. It is heartbreaking to see you and your children, who aren’t much younger than myself, and your husband stuck in Gaza. You are incredibly brave and strong for asking for help to save your family. I will share your campaign in hopes to put more eyes on it. To anyone seeing this, this is Eman Zaquot. She is a brave Palestinian trapped in Gaza along with her family. She is the mother of two beautiful children her 12 year old son Rakan and 10 year old daughter Seba. She is looking to get herself, her children, and her husband, Mahmoud, out of Gaza.

As she said the least we can do is help the people we come across. That means donating or spreading visibility. Every donation no matter how small is a step forward to getting her and her family out of Gaza. It may not feel like much but a five dollar donation means a lot when it is a hundred people donating five dollars. I urge you to donate what you can and if you are unable to, share and it may reach people who can.

I get obsessed with a piece of media only to learn the creator is a crappy person. The show it's self has a strong anti-colonist message but one of the co-creators is a Zionist, contradicting the entire show. I'm all for separating the art from the artist or whatever, but it is something to acknowledge and use to spread love and help for the people of Palestine.

The most important part of engaging in any fandom is being able to recognize the flaws of a work and understand it’s strengths and weaknesses. We can look at it objectively, still enjoy a work but also acknowledge the flawed nature of its creator.

If you have money to spare go to Operation Olive Branch and other Palestine relief funds. Donate to a family to help them get out off Gaza. Every dollar helps, it only gets more urgent by the day.

Like same. I’m just trying to enjoy cool are then those icky AI “artists” show up and I’m usually none the wiser without tags. People need to tag their stuff. >:(

I'm starting to see AI art in fanart tags and even when they are tagged as AI art, people in the reblogs tagged it as fanart.

Let me just say this once. I don't believe AI art is fanart. The way things are, it's theft. It doesn't count. The effort that fan artists put into their works cannot be equated in value with whatever an AI generates. The works with hours of applied skill and originality and love put into them are the works I want to praise on this blog.

So that being said, if I ever reblog "fanart" that is ai generated, please send me a message or an ask and let me know so I can delete it off my blog.
