So For Two To Three Days I've Been Not Able To Give Incense Offerings Or Light Their Candles To The Deities

So, I've had the most roller-coaster of a ride with religion. At this point, I just don't care. They're all real. They're all there in the world, and when you die, you go to where you believe. Because I've had enough about religion because there's too many in the world and it's confusing.

But that's not the point. So I decided to put up my Hades, Aphrodite, Loki, Apollo, and Hermes alters up.

Before I decided to do that, I brought some 18+ dice for some fun, and just why not, and that was before I decided to put the alters back up.

Explain to me... why I felt drawn to giving Loki those dice, with the explanation of how to use those dice on his alter with three fidget toys near it and a (porcelain?) goose with its head smashed??? He/They/She/It (whatever Loki identities as) is really showing their chaos already!

i am no longer manifesting for this reality. i am shifting and never coming back.

i no longer gaf about anything in this life, not graduating, not getting a car, nothing here has an appeal for me.

i can have everything. everything i would ever want and need and all i have to do is leave. just leave and never come back. i don’t have to sacrifice anything, i don’t have to sacrifice myself to live another day.

You don't NEED anything to shift. You don't need affirmations. You don't need to visualise. You don't need a subliminal. You don't need to reread your script. You don't need to feel happy to shift. You can just shift. You can shift while napping. You can shift because you decided you are going to do that tonight. If affirmations, visualisation, subliminals, re-reading your script, and feeling happy help you, then do it. But you only need YOU to shift. Whoever is reading this is going to shift because they can. I WILL SHIFT. YOU WILL SHIFT. Because we are amazing humans who deserve it.

Reminder to drink and eat something today! No matter how busy you are, no matter what has happened today or yesterday, you deserve to feed and energise your body. So please take out at least five minutes of your time, put everything away, or even watch a mukbang video so you're not eating alone and have a refreshing drink and meal. Love you!

I think we can overcomplicate offerings for deities, like each and every offering that is for a deity should ALWAYS be respectful. There's no 'if/buts/maybes' on that.

But some offerings can be simple like saying thank you outloud or in your head after eating your meals to Demeter, Artemis, or any other deity that are similar to that in your religion. Saying that your skincare, makeup, and brushing your hair is dedicated to Aphrodite or Hekate, for example. Saying good morning to Apollo in the morning when you open up your curtains and doors, meditating out in the sun for Apollo and Lucifer. Doing something risky and playful in honour of Loki and Hermes. Having a glass of water by yourself or washing your hands in honour of Poseidon. Learning how to defend yourself for Ares and Odin, paying your respect to the dead for Hades, and Anubis. Those are all examples of offerings, devotion or doing something in their name that you can do if you currently don't have any offerings for them at the moment, or if your sick and don't have the energy for offerings, or if you can't do any offerings because of unsupportive family, ect.

So I understand why we have alters/shrines for deities, and I have two separate ones for Hekate and Loki.

But how about also having an alter/shrine to ourselves? Worship ourselves like we would the gods? We are spiritual beings, and I think we deserve our own worship as spiritual beings but also as self care and self-love to ourselves. (Especially if we struggle with that!)

I heard about someone saying to image your a demon in a humans body that you have to look after but what if we made a shrine/alter for ourselves and treat ourselves with that respect and devotion we show to a deity?

I'm thinking of trying it and seeing how it goes.

a reminder that deities you work with don't hate you for not being able to do things, especially not if you're physically or mentally able to!

the gods understand that we're not perfect, that we're just fleshy meat sacks and that some of us aren't able to do things as much, and you shouldn't compare your craft to anyone else's! it's yours after all.

and if you're worried that your offerings aren't good enough, think about it like this. if a little crow came up to you and gave you a stick, you wouldn't think "what a dumb crow, why'd you give me a stick?", would you? no! you'd know that the little crow is doing his best and wanted to give you a gift. to the deities, you're that little crow, and they know you're doing your best <3

It's wonderful how, with no warning and without even trying, we will randomly stumble across new favorite songs, new favorite artists, new favorite books, new favorite movies, new favorite games, new favorite shows, new favorite snacks, new passions, new hobbies, new interests, new favorite blogs and new favorite people. So when things are terrible, hold onto the fact that someday, possibly when you least expect it, you'll suddenly come across something wonderful!
