I’m not Palestinian. I’m Iraqi. But I lived through a time where the West justified the invasion of my homeland and killed 1,000,000 of my people & committed horrors we don’t know the extent of. And so I advocate for Palestine because I can’t stand by as history is repeated.

I'm not Palestinian. I'm Armenian-American. My grandmother was an Armenian Genocide survivor. She was among 8,000 orphans at Ras al Ain in the Syrian desert. And so I stand in solidarity with Palestinians.

I’m not Palestinian. My Gujurati and Mozambican ancestors survived Euro colonialism. My daadi escaped from the Rohingya genocide in Burma and my grandparents are refugees of the Moz civil war. I know what it’s like to have your homeland torn from you and so I stand with Palestine

Ok and mine literally destroys eachother. They’re like Hades and Persephone. Never have you seen a love more luscious, a love more intense- but with it comes suffocation. Obsession. Possession. My OTP is like the moon and the sun, never one without the other, but never at the same time- and in the rare case that they are together, their meeting is so intense that it blocks out all the light. My OTP is like fire and water. They don’t complete eachother, they threaten the others existence. In the words of harry potter- “neither can live while the other survives”. My OTP is slowly ripping itself apart. My OTP would rather rip themselves apart than be apart from eachother.

My OTP does not belong together, but they sure as hell don’t belong apart.
