durarara WHAT WILL HE DO can you tell? izaya orihara i made a thing Here he comes! 🎵 this was originally a squid game redraw of course not there is not a game of squid to be perceived but you’re pretty cool if you can figure out where it was directly referenced from sorry if people are sick and tired of hearing about that show again but uhhh there might be more where that came from i kind of gave up on the initial idea here when i realised i wouldn’t be able to draw the shizuo so now it’s just izaya but you can assume he’s looking at shizuo that was the intention he's also walking backwards haha i’ve got mixed feelings about this one whenever i go on about izaya's coat jacket whatever in the reblog tags i really do mean it spent an unreasonable amount of time trying to get the fluff to look a way i like it then 10x multiplied trying to figure out the shading on and around the poofy sleeve and i'm still not totally satisfied with it i simply cannot compute zoom in on the face though that part is nice i really like how i drew him there this is like my third proper attempt at both shading and colours feels like there's too much going on but not enough at the same time i just kind of experimented with a ton of random colours and techniques that i thought looked neat in other people's art i couldn't really commit to anything i threw on it though but we all have to start somewhere right i've worked on it enough it's time to release him into the wild that's enough serious attempts at colours for a while i think

reblog drrr comic shizaya hm.. thats the boy a cheap imitation shigaeru shizu squat shizuoooo you look pretty when you're tired that first panel with his hand there is really nice the angy shizuo with izaya on the brain hsfgadh ''no way i'm going to let that bastard laugh at me hmph'' that's a nice izaya in his imagination though the knife as sharp as his smile and he's got a little dimple that's cute ''would they hide it under a tree...?'' shizuo never change i like that he says the next lines as if reasoning with himself out loud will make it more plausible also that forest framing is so pretty the trees!! your island environments are really beautiful the trees and vines look so pretty he's very endearing look at the boy just casually pushing over trees before losing patience and just kicking them in half ah the dappled sunlight over him izaya in shizuo's imagination is always doing these funky knife poses they're really nice and so dramatic it's great the hands in this chapter are so nice and okay shizuo let's see that lovely expression again in 32 chapters shall we

durarara wooo 3d shizaya izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima i made a thing fun little thing someday!!! a cheap imitation chapter 46 lookitem go there's sound too but it's nothing crazy sound design is not my passion i love it but i'm not too good at it yet do you know how hard it was for me to visualise the spherical form when i was drawing the uh ball skins i'm just sostupid when it comes to anything spacial awareness and depth perception is zero but other than that this one was soooorta chill even though i kinda had to freak out about it and finish it after everyone had already read and spoke about the chapter.... i made it work though i very much desire someone to tell me they see these and can draw the connections between their respective chapters they're very special to me hope someone thinks they're as cool as i did while i was making them also my captions.... some of them are better than others but i think they're kinda neat (i remastered it a little you can check some early reblogs if you want to see what it looked like before)

reblog drrr we love to see it fic AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA shizaya wwlb glaciesdraco my finger slipped on to the caps lock but it works by the way izaya takes psychic damage is my new favourite phrase now shizuo is so obstinant it hurts ''he's just trying to get everyone to start looking for him'' procedes to start looking for him simon tell him he has an izaya complex shizuo blaming izaya for strolling back into his life when he is absolutely nowhere to be found it hurts to know that shizuo is right but in all the wrong ways i hope the orihara twins are allowing themselves to cry a little like they said they would but that's not shizuo's right to know what he does need to know is how hard he truly beat izaya down i love that he can't help but *care* so much despite himself and that he's kind of realising how the mindset he's been trying to live by for so long just doesn't quite work like he thinks it does izaya is so obstinant it hurts but it actually hurts and i don't quite blame him for refusing to surrender what they want from him i suppose it's one way to have izaya face his issues but be careful with him he's fragile :( he's doing his best to hold on to a semblance of anything and it's such a sad image that oozes exhaustion i really like the aspect of forcing izaya to speak in english it's a very subtle way to wear him down very characteristic for this sort of torture you describe perfectly as a slow-acting poison which is slowly but surely diminishing at his sense of self ooh that comparison to a bottom feeder hit all the worst places yikes i have a lot more i want to say about shizuo and how effective izaya's torture is but i hadn't even made it out of russia sushi before realising there was no way i'd fit it all in 30 tags so here's the abridged version now to compose everything into a slightly more coherent director’s cut showing in your comment section hopefully soon

reblog drrr soft shizaya i just 😭😭😭😭 izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima shigaeru been thinking about this one a lot lately hhhh hh h h fh g h disintegrate every time i am living for these moments of immense fondness the oh shit realisation that they're in so much deeper than they ever know and this isn't like the first time but the nth doesn't get old they're just existing and then the depths of their affection it hits again and again love to see them just happy and content around each other i probably say this literally every time but izaya is so poof he looks so very soft and huggable shizuo hold him these poses are so nice because like shizuo looks so tender with his hand in izaya's greasy ass hair and izaya's just perched on top of him with the bestest view of shizuo's unbridled joy?? watching humans has nothing on this i also quite like the idea of izaya listening very intently to what shizuo has to say on those rare occasions he has a lot izaya looks both so affectionate and satisfied that he's the reason shizuo is smiling like this and it's so you nailed these expressions right through my heart good sir and the colours are so warm the way you drew their clothes also looks really comfy that's oddly particular but like the soft airbrush and the folds idk they just feel like they've been lived in with each other last tag uhhh they just look so comfortable together it's too sweet

reblog drrr shizaya izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima soultiio i saw the tie one a few days ago and was like soultiio drawing things and shizaya?? i meant to tag about it but had to find the time to sit down for it your tags on the shizaya ball reminded me though thanks for that i appreciate them very much :> but woahhh i just noticed now that i've missed a lot more from you though and this one super caught my attention so yo is this a spanish quote i looove how the pencil on paper adds to the roughed up texture of shizuo's damage and like the murbling misery feel i get from it murbling is just a word i made up to articulate the vibe i envision because idk the words love how you drew izaya here he's got such sharp defined edges like the lines of his cheek and shoulders and HAAANDS i love how it gives off like angle of bones i really like the look of his fingers like seeing defined bones because the implication is that *those* hands that shizuo could snap in a heartbeat are what brought such hurt to him and i like that they're just kind of hovering over his face opposed to like caressing it so many vibes to it like hands gently framing their work not wanting to touch it symbolic distance between him and the blood like it's his doing but indirectly also i like the potential hand gesture of izaya flatly patting one side of shizuo's face and angling his other hand around his neck like i can envision this motion and it feels like a very izaya way of handling shizuo's face to observe it
