hi yes hello i read your fic young like the sea today AND I HAVE NOT STOPPED THINK ABOUT IT EVER SINCE !!!!
zoro’s part made me especially sad gods i dont think ill ever get over it.
AND THAT TOWARDS THE END ???
The world goes on. They fight every second of their life not to, but even the strongest souls wane from the erosion of time.
It takes ten years for their log pose to become something they look at, but not something they see, like looking at your watch but not registering the time.
Maybe they accepted he was gone long before they realized.
KILLED MEEEEE
ill be rotating this fic in my mind gor the next few days but thank you for writing it
aaaa omg reading this made me so giddy 😳 thank u so much for reading!!!
zoros part was one of my favourites to write! it was also one of the saddest 😭 poor guy 😈 tho skill issue much?
im also really proud of that excerpt so im super glad u liked it!!! i just love (creating) that feeling of the lack of closure - the never-knowing if its time to move on or if theres still hope.

I WAS WONDERING WHO UR TOP 3 OP CHARACTERS ARE
THANK U AND HAVE A NICE DAY
😳👉 👈 Wow um thank you so much I really appreciate it :D
As to my top 3:
I don't know if I can pick a favourite because all of the main cast are so amazing and easily likable for different reasons I don't know if I can pick just three but if I had to rank em I'd say
1.Luffy because he's literally the guy ever, his stretchy funny business is the only physical/slapstick comedy i like and he’s the cutest crazy ever
2. Zoro because he's not normal and I like that about him, His dynamic with Luffy is my favorite thing ever and I cant get enough of the caring relationship those two have
3.Trafalgar law because he's my gf idk what else to say
I love everyone else so much too you don’t even know😔
You have a great day too <3
I'm still drawing klein moretti omg
Another shameless plug 😎😎
Why are your posts so painful?? I'd like to think Nami and Zoro visited Chouchou one last time but he def never saw Luffy again I'm 😭😭😭. Wait is Garp alive? When he finally comes back he needs to do a world tour fr he's left a whole in too many ppls hearts 😭
because i like putting myself through emotional pain to feel something.
"is Garp alive?"
well - generally, one piece characters have longer lifespans than us so he should be alive
...right?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
WAIT I completely forgot Shanks is still like, around, so now I'm so curious what his reaction was to Luffy just up and vanishing. Though no pressure to include him because there's already way too many characters that care about Luffy lol
I keep forgetting so many characters. Y'know what? If I can't include them *majors your character death*
WHY DOES LUFFY HAVE SO MUCH RIZZ LIKE HE HAS TOO MANY FRIENDS i think i bit off more than i can chew
but i definitely think Shanks is someone i want to include at some point—and i do have a place where i can fit him into the story ;>
READ NOW THE DARKNESS COMES ALIVE BY @taizi RIGHT NOW
this is my shameless (actually slightly shameful) sefl promo to say I have a second animatic up on YouTube now :D
I POSTED THIS 30 MINUTES AGO AND I HAD A TYPO I MEANT
"Grief is something you don't get over"
I forgot to put the don't earlier omg this is so ruined I MEANT IT LIKE
Ok what's worse: the strawhats waiting a lifetime for luffy to return to them, or luffy becoming immortal and outliving everyone he cares about?
The first scenario reminds me of that Bojack Horseman quote, "Was it worth it to be happy for a little bit even though it ended up sad? Or would it have been better if the whole thing never happened?" I think this isn't as bad as the immortality scenario because the Straw Hats have each other to lean on, and if they reach the end of their life without Luffy returning, maybe they'll be happy—thinking that Luffy's waiting on the other side for them.
I think immortality is one of the cruelest punishments you could put on someone, especially Luffy, considering his unique relationship with death. It's one of the OP endings I hope Oda doesn't use (through Law's Devil Fruit power).
Grief is something you don't get over. It'll always be there, but you grow to live with it. Knowing Luffy, he'd find new people to love and journey with, but they'd leave him all the same, and loneliness is Luffy's greatest weakness. I don't want to imagine this kind of torture on him.
