I pick you up at your place around 7.

We dress casual.

I bring flowers, a seasonal bouquet.

I wait outside as you put them in water.

I open your door.

I buckle you in.

I've already picked the spot.

Quaint, tucked away, not ritzy, cozy atmosphere, soft lights.

I pull out your chair.

We have street tacos, because what girl doesn't love tacos?

I'll have a Roy Rogers and you'll have a Shirley Temple, because they are delicious.

I pay.

Ice cream cones to go, the boardwalk at the resort is only a few blocks away and it's nice walking weather.

I hold your hand as we cross the streets and through the park.

We make our small talk as we make our way to the point of the floating boardwalk overlooking the lake and sunset.

It's getting late and chilling near the water, so you adorn my hoodie.

I keep my arm around your waist as we walk, you don't seem to mind.

The lights outside turn on as I drive you back home.

Once we arrive I walk you to the door.

I kiss the back of your hand and wish you a great night with the hopes we can do this again.
