there's nothing more devastating than the protagonist just being a person. the people they surrounded themselves with were just people, too. just people living out their lives. they weren't meant to be the big, selfless, brave hero or the savior; they were just forced into that position. and besides, the other options are much, much worse
the color green reminds me of sadness // there was nothing but sadness in his green eyes ----- "Come find me, idiot prince." "Until tomorrow, master thief." ----- Or, a dsmp/origins bee/bench-centric fantasy au. Featuring: - A cursed prince - A scarred thief - A kingdom in crisis - A surreptitious resistance, and - The choice between what you know and what you long to find.
I was initially trying to write all of this before posting any of the chapters, but halfway done is good enough for me considering chapter one has been in my drive for much too long at this point. currently on a bi-weekly update schedule for the first 5 chapters!
There's one charity that I haven't seen shared here personally, and that's Care for Gaza.
They're shared a lot on twitter as a reputable on-the-ground relief source. You can donate to their gofundme to help their efforts here.
The weirdest thing about the ai art debate is the ppl saying art has such a high entry level n clearly ai is the only way to make it accessible
Like have you ever doodled in ur notebook during class before? Have you ever drawn in the sand or on a foggy window?? You can literally give crayons to toddlers
Teens on the Internet did not download ibis paint n spend hours drawing on their phones with their fingers for you to say art is an exclusive club for rich ppl that's sooo hard to get into
Yes some art tools might by stupidly expensive that's a separate problem but no one is stopping you from picking up the cheapest papers n pencils and getting into art no one is stopping you from downloading a free art program on your phone or opening an art site and getting into art you can draw in the notes app for fucks sake
people are really fucking clueless about generative ai huh? you should absolutely not be using it for any sort of fact checking no matter how convenient. it does not operate in a way that guarantees factual information. its goal is not to deliver you the truth but deliver something coherent based on a given data set which may or may not include factual information. both the idolization of ai and fearmongering of it seem lost on what it is actually capable of doing
heads up! tomorrow on march 2, Saturday there'll be a global march for Palestine, that means I won't be posting or reblogging anything unless its resources and information on the genocide. one of the marches happens to be held in my area, which I'll be attending
it's up to us to uplift the their voices and do everything we can to stop the genocide against Palestinians, no matter how small the action is!

I LOVE IT WHEN ENDINGS CIRCLE BACK TO THE BEGINNING!!!
I LOVE IT WHEN CHARACTERS MIRROR EACH OTHER!!!!!
I LOVE IT WHEN CHARACTERS SEAL THEIR FATES IN THEIR FIRST SCENES!!!!
I LOVE IT WHEN CHARACTERS' GREATEST TRAITS ARE ALSO WHAT DOOM THEM IN THE END!!!!!
this is so important to me
the concept and idea of “you can always start trying to be a better person” is extremely important to me both in media and irl and i continue to be deeply deeply disturbed by the trend on this site pushing that these ideas in media are bad writing or even morally reprehensible
because theyd rather someone stay terrible or just straight up die than become a better person
from a compassionate point of view it’s deeply distressing and from a pragmatic point of view it’s outright frustrating
it’s fucked up.
