Harry stared at Wormtail for a moment, then back at James, who was now doodling on a bit of scrap parchment. He had drawn a Snitch and was now tracing the letters 'L.E.'. What did they stand for? . . . Harry looked down at his father, who had hastily crossed out the 'L.E.' he had been embellishing, jumped to his feet, stuffed his quill and the exam paper into his bag, which he slung over his back, and stood waiting for Sirius to join him.

He didn’t know when he was going to fall in love, or how, but from the very first moment they met on the train during their first year, Remus knew that someday, some way, he was going to fall in love with Sirius Black.

Remus waited patiently, spending plenty of nights in the library with Sirius sitting across from him, wondering if it might happen then. If their knees would brush and he would feel the air change, or maybe when Remus tried to reach for a book and Sirius had to help him, because in those early days, Sirius was the tall one.

He dreamed that maybe they would fall in love at a Quidditch game, cheering wildly as Gryffindor won the House Cup, so overwhelmed by their emotions that they hugged each other and never let go.

But it wasn’t until Remus was left stranded in the rain one afternoon in Hogsmeade, huddled together under a short overhang waiting for the sudden deluge to slow so they could run back to the castle, did he finally feel that bolt of lightning electrifying his veins.

“It was literally sunny five minutes ago,” Sirius frowned, wiping off the spots of water from his leather jacket. The thrill of finally having his very own jacket hadn’t quite worn off yet, even though the leather was already a bit stained and still smelled like the thrift shop.

“I told you I hear thunder earlier,” Remus said, rolling his eyes. Leave it to the rain to ruin his perfect day alone with Sirius, James having run off earlier to chase after Lily.

“Are you cold?” Sirius asked, glancing at the swath of goosebumps rising on Remus’ skin.

James Potter is Lover. This album radiates positive energy, good vibes and just makes you want to smile and dance. It fits his bubbly personality.

Remus Lupin is Folklore. No questions asked. august and invisible string are literally about him and Sirius. He would also absorb the cottagecore/dark academia aesthetic of this album.

Marlene McKinnon is Fearless. That was an easy one bc she’s literally this strong, fearless character and her and Dorcas deserved a love story moment.

Lily Evans/Potter is 1989. She would love this album and bop to Shake it Off in the common room. New Romantics also gives off major Jily vibes.
