It only takes a couple of lines to go from one eye style to the other so I'm always stuck between them cause I love both so much

@qlaude is so nice & wonderful and asked if i’d share some anatomy tips so how could i refuse!!! this is all stuff that’s still pretty new to me, so it’s really just an explanation of my current learning process. hope it all makes sense though!
Hi there!! First off thanks so much for spending all that time!!
To be honest I’m still trying to get comfortable with anatomy….however I do have a lot of fun making bendy torsos (thanks to Junkrat’s horrible posture) and I think I’ve stylized them enough to make a tutorial on them.
I almost always start my drawings with a C-curve/S-curve to mark the spine, this way I can exaggerate the torso as much as I like. Notice though that in the GIF the C-Curve isn’t actually where the spine is, it’s more of a way to feel the flow of the drawing.
So anyway yeah!!! I hope this helped in some way?? Sorry if it’s not extensive, I’m still learning a lot!! And thanks for the ask, I appreciate the love <3
Let me know if you have questions!!!
SO I… spontaneously decided I really wanted to get into 3D stuff this year, and my dumb idiot brain IMMEDIATELY decided the best way to do this was to dive right into character modelling– right after designing something I obviously wouldn’t be able to make with my non-existent skill set!
–HOWEVER!!! I did take a solid week or two to read through manuals, watch zbrush and blender tutorials, etc… and managed to make (imo) a pretty decent bust! Sans shoulders! <:’^)
Beleth uh, ended up way different from her original concept HAHAHA… but I actually ended up liking her more this way! For now I’m content to leave her as is, though I’d like to go back when I’m more experienced with zbrush and give her an actual body.
