Always and never are two words you should always remember never to use.

Let me dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth. The further and more often I go away from civilization, the greater becomes my intimacy with nature of the earth. And, this is becoming my constant love affair.....

I swear by this!! Always keep your standards high. Don't lower your standards to match someone else's. No matter how educated, talented, rich or cool they believe they are; nothing compares to life education. You will come across people who decide to lower their standards just to fit-in. Don't become that. Don't stay in that company. Don't be accepting or tolerant of that. Elevate, hold on to your integrity. Keep your morals and your values high. Acceptance of prevailing standards often means we have no standards of our own. And remember, with chickens you are going to cluck but with eagles you are going to fly. #justsaying #standards

From my vantage point: The calm before the storm is not just a phrase. Saw it heading in my direction as it turned and twisted its way through the mighty canyons. You would notice the lightning at the start of the video. Winds blowing so hard that snowflakes hurt you. I was able to get some footage in, while my friends were screaming, asking me to get back in the car, to drive away from the storm. I'm grateful to my friends who are mostly willing to bear my craziness. But it's experiences and moments like these that are so moving and changing. I felt so fearless, big in my heart but small on the outside, so strong yet so gentle, determined yet humble and so disciplined yet so free. :) #ripplesinmyheart (at Grand Canyon National Park, South Rim)
