Well, nothing.  Ezlo is his own entity.  This does mean that if he wore a mask, it would transform him, but in terms of Speck, it basically means that Oni is now wearing Ezlo in place of his usual white hat.  And isn't that just a fantastic mental image?

The shield is not canon (in the manga), I put it to reference another things that don't appear.
