I honestly didn't think I was going to finish it today 0.0" I just wanted an excuse to draw a tiger.
The plants don't have that much detail, I tried to focus most of my detail on the clouds and the water, this time I decided to experiment more with the style and color of the clouds.
I don't really like how the water came out, I wanted to add more detail and lights, but it didn't feel it looked that good, so I decided to keep it simpler.
I hope you like it :3 even with everything I liked the final result.
Some waterfall studiy I did for the project Me and the little sea, from Boldbird studios :3 Just diffreent color for the scene. What do you think? I also did and speedpaind on it, if you want to see the proces ^^" Here is the link if you want to see more projects from Boldbird: www.boldbirdstudios.com/
I should be doing homework, or working, but instead I made a drawing of my fursona, because I've been wanting to draw him for days. This time I removed the white spot on his chin since I don't like too much how it looks, but I don't know if it will be a change I will keep, or maybe I will paint it in other drawings :b I notice I only have three drawings of my fursona (counting this one) in profile XD I really need to update its reference and practice more poses. Anyway, the pose was inspired by the music video How I am by Unlikely Candidates, I loved the color palettes and poses in the video, and I want to draw some with my fursona to practice and experiment with styles :3
This ended up taking more time than I expected, it's fun, but the stairs and ellipses is the only thing, I don't like to draw much :b though I like the end result.
Finding the VP and auxiliary vps of these references was a pain, but I think I'm getting better at locating them now XD Hopefully when I finish the course I have time to try to draw a scene with what I learn with one of my characters.
The last stairs were the most complicated to do, they turned out better than I expected, but I know I need to improve the perspective some places XD
When the teacher checked it, maybe I will update this work with the corrections, if I have time.
I've seen a lot of Death fanart and I wanted to make one too, but I did it in a hurry because I have homework to do (which I'm too lazy to do :b) I really liked the last scene of Gato vs Death fighting, but really all the scenes where this character appears are sensational. Well, I did the best I could, but I also tried to keep it simple, and in the end I kept changing my values because I felt that it was too saturated and the contrast of light and shadow was too strong. Hope it looks good not the least ^^"
Hey, after finishing Small's portrait, I decided to do a little face painting practice, to improve my proportions, and better understand how to paint and shade the face. After seeing several references and inspirations, I realized that there are parts where you will always see shadow and help to give volume, like around the eyes, under the lips, the nose, and some shadows on the forehead, I know it looks obvious, but from someone who draws humans once a year it's pretty new I also tried to paint different skin tones, I've heard that painting dark skin is the hardest, so I wanted to try that it, I saw a video that used red and purple as shading, I rather tried to use orange, red and green, I think It looks good, but tell me what you think Rendering the light skin was easier as I have more practice with it, except for the albino girl, it was a bit tricky as I really couldn't really make out the shadows well when painting ^^" it was quite interesting to see different tones of skin, and see what technique and color was better to shade Also, sorry if the lips and noses look weird, it's very difficult, it's too different from painting lips and noses of animals, their shape and shading are hard to paint (T-T) Any kind of critique and feedback is welcome ^^
