OMG The city of echoes sounds thrilling! Idk why but I feel like there are many parrallel stories in myths for these two... I love your other fics too but this one already hunted me downđ
Itâs the second time Iâm writing this post because tumblr hates me and deleted it for no reason. Ugh. So, since I have to put some order in my brain, Iâll list here all of the wips Iâm currently working on. But here comes the funny part: you get to choose one of these, and Iâll start working on it as soon as I canâand youâll get a dt when I post it here and on ff.net. Also yes, you got it right; this is basically a way to make me start working on them faster. Here we go.
Olympus (chapter 5). If you know me and have read some of my fics, you probably already know what Iâm talking about. If you havenât, âOlympusâ is a bookshop AU, in which Reyna is the owner of a cute second-hand-books shop in San Francisco, and Jason is just some guy who happens to be maybe a little too in love with the shop (and its owner).
Sugar paper (chapter 1). Youâre probably so sick of me talking about this fic. This is the fake dating AU Iâve been talking about for months, perhaps?, but never wrote. Iâve already started writing the first chapter, but I donât like it at all, so I think Iâll just delete all Iâve got and start again from the beginning. Anyway, it features Percy, Nico, Jasonâs and Reynaâs families and the fabulous Hazel Levesque.
The three times Reyna fell in love with Jason (and the one time she didnât). If you think this title screams angst, youâre totally right. Slightlyâhighly, actuallyâinspired to my shitty love life, this fic is set in the canonic universe, and takes place before HoO. I think the title is pretty self-explanatory, so I wonât give you any details; only that New Rome plays a huge role in this fic. Oh and itâs a one-shot.
Rewrite the stars. Rey is going to hate me because I promised Iâd write this ages ago and I still havenât begun. This is a Star Trek AU in which Jason is the captain of a starship, and Reyna is his cold, stonefaced, calculating first officer with Romulan origins. When he asks her out for dinner, she has to remind him of the Code they had agreed to respect back when they were at the academy. Also a one-shot.
Illicit affairs. Obviously inspired by Taylor Swift, because how can you be a jeyna shipper and not listen to Taylor Swift. In particular, this fic is going to be a three-shots based on her new album âFolkloreââs teenage love triangle. In fact, this is not exactly jeyna. Itâs more a study of the Piper/Jason/Reyna love triangle in the books. Mhh I donât know if Iâm ever going to write this anyway, so let me know.
The city of echoes. Iâve been thinking about this idea for the last week and Iâm so in love with it. The subtitle is âAll the times Jason and Reyna came back to each otherâ; the main plot takes place after ToA, but I want it to have as many flashbacks as possible. This one is going to be hot and sweet and rude, all at the same time. Both smutty and angsty. Itâs mainly based on the myth of Phosphorus and Hesperusâthe morning and the evening starsâ, always thought to be so apart, and yet being the same thing. Exactly like Jason and Reyna. Three-shots.

â¨stockingsâ¨
Okay, so this made me want to write about stockings, but then I got inspired by that one scene from Brooklyn (2015) and my own grandparents and here we are.Â
A 1930s Everlark đš:
1938
The only reason Katniss agreed to the Friday night dance was because Prim had promised to do all her Saturday chores if sheâd come. âMama wonât let me go unless you come,â her sister had pleaded, crawling across their shared bed, hands folded together. âPlease please please, Katniss?â
âI hate those dances,â she argued, shoving her sister off her notes. âPlus I have an exam next week that I need to study for. Why canât Mama take you?â
Prim looked aghast at the suggestion. âI canât take my matka to the dance! Iâd be the laughing stock at school! Katniss, please? Iâll do all your Saturday chores and take care of Babcia all night instead. Please?â
She likely would have gone without the promised bribe, but if Prim was offering to batter out dirty rugs and polish their motherâs silver and deal with their strict grandmother for a whole Saturday evening, then Katniss wasnât going to bypass it. So here she sat in her churchâs basement, huddled in the far corner where the girls with no dance partners sat, counting down the minutes until 9 oâclock.
The room was crowded with kids from the neighborhood, excited to congregate together without total parental supervision watching over them, and she saw Prim near the band with some fellow she recognized from church, her head thrown back in laughter. The guyâs face was a bit too close to her sisterâs neck, but Prim would never forgive her if she stepped in and played matka. Katniss crossed her arms and sighed, slinking down in her seat.
Sixty-seven minutes to go.
âNot much for dances?â a boy next to her asked, causing her to jump. He hadnât been there a moment ago.
She frowned. âAm I that obvious?â
âMost girls over here are scoping the dance floor for fellas. You, on the other hand,â he said, eyeing the clock, âkeep checking the time. Got a hot date or something?â
Her cheeks flushed at his forwardness. âGee, you talk to all the girls youâve just met like that?â
âNo,â he smiled, leaning closer to her, âbut I think itâs important to make sure Iâm not stepping where I shouldnât be stepping. So is there a lucky fella? Or are you free to dance with me?â
Katniss gave him a hard look, amazed at just how forward this guy was. She hadnât been asked to dance often, but sheâd seen the bashful way boys usually asked Prim and Leevy. They were never as forward! She sniffed the air. âWhy would I tell you such a thing? I donât even know your name.â
âPeeta Mellark,â he said, holding his hand for her to take. Katniss lightly grabbed his fingers, gave a halfhearted shake in greeting, and put her hand back in her lap. âWhatâs yours?â
âKatniss Everdeen.â
âEverdeen?â he frowned. âThat donât sound Polish. Are you crashing this dance, too?â She tried her best not to notice how his blue eyes seemed to twinkle in the churchâs poor lightning when he smiled at that.
âThatâs because it isnât. My motherâs Polish, but my father wasnât.â She checked the clock and held back another tired sigh. Only five minutes had passed.
âTime would go faster if you danced,â Peeta suggested teasingly, leaning back in his seat. âIâd be happy to fill that time.â
Her fingers drummed on her knees, considering his offer. She still had an hour left of this thing and he wasnât wrong about time moving faster if she was doing something.
âOkay,â Katniss agreed, holding her hand out. âOne dance and you leave me alone for the rest of the night.â
He hurried to stand and grabbed her offered hand, bowing dramatically at the honor. She rolled her eyes and told him to move it along, before she changed her mind.
They walked to the dance floor just as the band was starting a new song. It was a swing tune, one the whole room cheered to as couples started to sway to the rhythm. It took Katniss a moment to pick up the new steps, unfamiliar with this particular dance, but with Peetaâs laughing encouragement, she was soon dancing and laughing along with him. He shook his hands to the side as the gentlemen in the talkies did and spun her around until her head spun. He even convinced her to take center floor with him as they kicked and stepped to the beat, the couples around them cheering around them.
Before Katniss knew it, they had danced four more times together. He didnât ask if she wanted to stop after that first one and she didnât bother to deny him as he kept pulling her back for more. Her hair was a bit disheveled now, her curls coming loose due to the roomâs humidity and her own movements, and her feet hurt in her heels, but itâd been awhile since sheâd had this much fun. Prim was never going to let her live this down.
Finally, the priest announced the band would be playing one last song, even though it was past 9 now, because theyâd all been such a great group tonight. It surprised her, how fast time really did go by when she wasnât sitting in the corner, pleading with the clock to move faster.
The band started one last time, crooning a slow ballad. Couples paired up and she saw her sister on the other side of the room with the same guy as earlier. Were they serious, she wondered, Prim and this guy? Peetaâs hand on her lower back pulled her back to them, their bodies pressed together now. She rested one hand on his shoulder, realizing just how tall he was as she looked up at him, his smile causing something in her to flutter, and she smiled back. Peeta smelled nice, she noticed, pressed against him so close now. Like fresh baked bread and a seasoning she couldnât place. Dill maybe? His body felt warm against hers, but she welcomed it, despite how hot she was after all the dancing.Their hands laced together as the music swept through the room, couples spinning slowly to the tune.
âThis is nice,â he said near her ear. âGlad you said yes, Katniss Everdeen.â
âIt is,â she agreed, deciding it wouldnât be a bad thing to rest her head on his chest. The other girls were doing it and well, Prim always said these dances were for meeting fellas.
âHey, Peeta?â she asked, looking up at him.
âHey, Katniss?â he asked in return, that smile of his still there, looking down at her.
âWhatâd you mean when you asked if I was crashing this dance?â Itâd been bothering her since about their second dance. âAre you crashing?â
He laughed and spun them around. âDoes Mellark sound Polish to you?â
âWell, no,â she frowned, not even thinking of that when he introduced himself. âI guess I just figured you were like me.â She couldnât be sure, but it felt like he pulled her closer. Not that she was complaining about that.
âBoth parents are German,â he said, his cheek pressed on top of her head. âAs hard German as you can make them, really strict, you know?â
âSo what were you doing at a Polish dance, then? Donât the Germans have their own dances?â
âOh yeahâ Peeta said, laughing, âWe do, but I like coming to your dances. Theyâre more fun and well, I really like Polish girls.â
Katniss tucked her face into his shirt to hide her blush. âGerman boys arenât so bad, either.â If it was at all possible, his smile grew.
âIâll take you to one, if youâd like,â he promised. âYou can see for yourself how much more fun your dances are.â
âAre you asking me out on a date, Peeta?â
âWould you say yes if I was?â
Katniss bit her bottom lip. âI would, yes.â
He spun them around one last time before the song ended, resting his forehead on hers. The music had stopped, the couples around them breaking apart, but Katniss and Peeta stood there, still holding on to each other. âWhen can I take you out?â he asked. âPlease say soon?â
Glancing over at Prim, who had clearly noticed where she was and giving thumbs up in approval, Katniss smiled. âYou free tomorrow night?â

This was fun đĽ°
She was the goddess of women and marriage and I'm pretty sure the so called intelligent greeks at that time wanted to portray her as an evil figure, just so they could also point out that women were selfish and stuff. Like I'm just saying that the majority of the man kind had been the leaders of domestic lives and this whole goddess of marriage and women being an evil bitch was a good excuse for men to use in some situations-I guess? I mean obviously there were males who weren't like that but everyone knows that ancient times were already fucked up.
I wanted to write down my view of Zeus and Hera's marriage
Ok so I HATE that in modern movies or books hera is literally nothing but a bitch.
Like yeah she's cruel because her husband turned he that way , he cheats on her every chance he gets even though he says how much he loves her... like his version of love is so twisted it's weird that he doesn't straight up leave hera if he is so unhappy.
Then again, from othe fan stories I read people write zeus as a man that simply wants his wife's love and attention
And the only way to get that is to make her jealous! Her insane jealously proves to Zeus that hera still loves him very dearly.
But then again he still cheats after they stop fighting , eyes tend to wonder.
I feel like zeus is aware of what a terrible person he is but he is the mindset that because he is King and supreme ruler of the heavens that he can do whatever he wants and he expected hera to be an obedient little wife.
Which she isn't at all , she didn't even want to marry him the first place.
She was trapped into it and eventually ended up falling for him.
She is an equally powerful and outspoken women that turned sour from her husband and his bastard children.
Hera isn't a saint , a lot of us wish she didn't take her fury out on the children or the women that weren't willing but her anger always gets the better of her.
Besides there was MANY women that were willing to be with zeus and join him in his bed.
Nymphs , minor goddesses and mortals alike who were willing I say deserve the queens anger.
Those that knew zeus was married but spread their legs anyway I can't really have much sympathy for.
The ones that were forced to do such things weren't as deserving.
Anyways this rant is going on.
The king and queen of the gods marriage is a mystery on it's own.
And UGH I swear I hate that hera can't leave Zeus and be free because she's a goddess of marriage.
That just annoys me so much.
Can someone like..write a damn good story of hera being happy? I would love that.
The sensitive suffer more; but they love more, and dream more.

Gods help me i'm cryingđ
Remember those walls I built, well baby theyâre tumbling down. And they didnât even put up a fight, they didnât even make a sound
Reyna thinking about how sheâs been able to let Jason, and how easy it felt in comparison to others
I found a way to let you win, But I never really had a doubt, Standing in the light of your halo, I got my angel now
Honestly, Reynaâs had it tough. She had to kill her own father, OKAY. It probably feels like Jason is thisâŚstandard of perfection. She probably thought so at one point, then she gets to know him and his flaws and insecurities. Jason still being Reynaâs light REALLY makes me happy
Every rule I had you breaking, Itâs the risk that Iâm taking, I ainât never gonna shut you out
YALL!!! Reyna letting herself fall for Jason despite EVERYTHING. This hurts even more when you think about how he forgets about her in HoO. Like, she broke all her rules for himâŚand YET
Everywhere Iâm looking now, Iâm surrounded by your embrace, Baby, I can see your halo, You know youâre my saving grace
Do I even need to explain the pun?
Youâre everything I need and more, Itâs written all over your face, Baby I can feel your halo, Pray it wonât fade away
Jason is (or should be written as) this idealistic kid who just wants to do good for New Rome. Middle School!Reyna just looks at this kid who still has his rose-colored glasses on and shakes her head. Reyna wanting Jason not to lose that tho, is just *chefâs kiss*
