I will get overstimulated.

My skin starts to itch, and I feel restless. I become uneasy, and sometimes I just freeze.

If it’s daily, mundane stuff, I can usually calm myself down. But if it involves something fundamental in my routine or anything crucial, I tend to have panic attacks.

..I am missing somebody I’ve never met and a feeling I’ve never felt. Is that possible, Dr. Lecter ?

I feel irrational yearning somewhere deep inside me, all the while being surrounded by everything I could possibly ask for.

I feel a hunger I can’t articulate, and I can’t pinpoint if I am simply going mad or if I am missing some sort of intangible warning.

New feelings often occur, even as we gain experience. Variations on what was once familiar. Desire that ebbs and flows with the change in our lives.

A yearning for another's presence is not uncommon. While you have all of your needs met, you may feel you are lacking a companion.

Tell me. To what other experience can you compare your newfound infatuation?

If I didn't know better, I would say it's as if you are in love.

What’s your coping mechanism for anxiety ?

I don’t really have a proper coping mechanism for anxiety. I fidget a lot, but it’s never been bad enough that I had to figure something out. Lately, though, I’ve been listening to more music than usual. It helps filter out all the noise.

I actually started doing that a few weeks ago because of a song someone send to me.

This is my blog. My name is Adam Raki. I live in New York City, but I prefer looking at things that are very far away, like galaxies and nebulae.

I am an electrical engineer, but I am currently between jobs. I know a lot about space, physics, and astronomy. If you ask me something, I will answer it as accurately as possible!. If you are imprecise, I may ask you to clarify.

The parallax shift is how the position of a star appears to change when viewed from different locations. It is not actually moving, but perspective makes it seem that way. That is how I got the name.

I do not know exactly what people post on blogs, but I will post things about space. If I like something, I might reblog it. I do not always understand jokes, but if you tell me it is a joke, I will try to understand.

I’m not sure if I know you. You seem to know me, or maybe you don’t and are just acting weirdly without being prompted. I’m willing to consider either possibility.

I actually got a great job offer in Maryland! I haven’t told Beth about it yet. I’m not sure if she’d want to move there or if she’d consider staying together if I lived further from New York.

So, I might have to decline the offer anyway…, though I’ve often thought about moving out of the city since my dad passed away.

My head hurts and my hands are trembling.

It was fun, I liked this dialogue from the movie a lot :

Isn’t he just?

At first, I suspected he might have rabies because he was unusually receptive for a wild animal. But then I realized he was probably already used to being around people. I wished I had something to feed him, but unfortunately, I only had pastries with me which you should never give to squirrels or ducks, for that matter. A lot of people make the mistake of feeding bread to ducks, even though it can ultimately be harmful—even deadly—for them. If you really want to give them a treat, you should offer peas instead.

And Beth is a teacher.
