thoughts on the planet ceres?
A dwarf planet trapped in the asteroid belt. Too small to be a proper planet, too large to be just another rock. Suspended between definitions, never quite one thing or the other. It holds more water than any world in the inner solar system apart from Earth, but no one really talks about that. No one really talks about Ceres at all.
It was the first asteroid ever discovered. They thought it was a planet at first. It lost that title when they found others like it, but for a while, it was something more. Something significant.
I think that’s a shame.
hello adam, i drew you 🎉
You drew me? That’s interesting. I don’t usually see myself from an outside perspective. I like it!, a lot of people are actually bad at drawing others and capturing their emotions accurately. You seem talented. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
And thank you for all the artwork and insightful questions recently.
Would you like me to add your work to my account Banner as well?.

Is Nigel a Sheep or a Wolf ?
Nigel is a Human.
If you are asking what I think he’d be if he was an animal , which you should’ve worded more precisely , I think he’d be a dog.
But I can’t say for certain.
Hey guys!
I know this is probably terrible timing, but I did want to let y’all know I’ll be taking a small break
or at least I don’t anticipate it to be long. My mental health hasn’t been the best, and I’ve got a lot of medical stuff I gotta take care of rn. So sorry to let y’all down like this. I’m super grateful for you guys, and I’ll do my best to be back soon.
Note: Some good news is that I’ll still be continuing my AO3 story tho! Since I only really plan to posting once a week, I think it won’t be too much on me. I also haven’t posted the link for it on here yet ’cause I’m still working through some stuff in chapter one.
Anyway, love y’all and stay safe 🤍
I took the job offer in Baltimore.
I will be working as a guide at the Davis Planetarium. I’m very happy it worked out. The planetarium has such a rich archive and so many exhibits in rotation! I’ll have a lot to learn and organize, and even more to share. I am already experiencing a lot of excitement about that.
That means Beth and I will be moving to Maryland soon, leaving New York behind. I will miss New York. But I’m looking forward to seeing some people in Baltimore. And it’ll make getting to Dr. Lecter’s appointments easier, once he returns from his retreat.
Have you taken any photos of raccoons? And if so, which is your favourite? I hope your having a good day :D
Hello!,
Yes, I have.
I recently took this picture. It isn’t really good, you can barely see the Raccoons due to the bright city lights. But that day was really precious because the Raccoon family stayed for so long.
I spent almost the entire night there.
They are.
I see a few bright ones despite the clouds. It’s interesting how the branches make the sky feel more distant, I think it feels like looking through a telescope with an obstructed view.
Did you recognize any constellations? If not, I can try to help identify them
@parallaxshift-raki stars were pretty last night :)
I didn’t ask her because I got nervous about it. I am not good at this stuff.
But she suggested going to the museum together. I think that would be a good idea—to do something she’s interested in.
Although I would much rather go to the planetarium.
I thought of taking Beth to the planetarium sometime, but I’m not sure if she’d like it
Soooo... Are things okay with Beth? Heard something happened, and someone got really upset/sad/angry? Whatever it was, I hope both of you are doing better now ❤️
Thank you for asking. I am doing good.
Beth apologized to me yesterday. I got an offer for a job interview and she will help me with practicing for that. Beth is important to me so I try not to think about it anymore. She seemed really overwhelmed that evening, I can relate to that.
