I want a story where Captain Marvel and Young Justice fail are large yet simple mission that shouldn't have been hard but there were so many little things that played in and it didn't work, and everyone is understandably upset about it. But because of this they all gets chewed out by the JL or something and Captain Marvel just takes it, he won't talk back or fight it or anything when they yell at him because he wants them to get it out of their system.

BUT THE MOMENT THEY YELL AT THE KIDS. Captain Marvel is instead in the JL's face for yelling at them. He went through so much at a young age because of shitty adults and these kids who were trying their best out there deserve so much better then to be yelled at and reminded of their failure.

No one had ever seen Marvel's emotions flip on a dime like that, hell they've probably never seen him mad ever. So the league was notably taken aback by this. If the person Captain is yelling at decided to yell again Marvel would tell them to calm down and think about their options and also say they should have this conversation another day if they didn't want to talk like civilized people and just wanted to scream like maniacs.

Currently the best way I can summarize my current chapter and drafts for the Shrike AU:

Chapter one: "Oh my god, I forgot how much I hate galas" says Danny

Chapter two: "I do not want to keep tabs on this kid, Bruce! He's probably just some tech weirdo like Tim," Steph complains as she puts on the last of her jewelry. Bruce sighs, "we only put on this event to keep an eye out for potential threats and new hires for WE. This kid is the only one who not only made a weapon this year, but the information we pulled on him has more holes than it should. You ARE going to keep tabs on the kid during the gala."

Chapter three: "Ancients, these galas suck, I'm going to bail" Danny tries his best to make his leave from the uneventful but was quickly trapped by social conventions. Oh no, is that Bruce Wayne coming towards him???

Chapter four: Free from the gala! Time to blow off some steam then as Ghoul aka Phantom in Gotham. Danny thinks no one notices him as he flies throughout the city but he's very much wrong.

It’s my multimedia based lore series (with more!) about 17 year old Danny Fenton from Danny Phantom who has to solve the mystery of an elusive new newspaper distributing locker and who is behind it! my theory on why Bart's timeline was such a wasteland: in s1ep15, the OG team fight Red Volcano. RV's plan was to activate a semi-dormant super-volcano under Yellowstone that would "decimate the planet, kill millions, and trap the rest under an impenetrable cloud of ash" (last bit sound familiar?). Wally ALSO said they could "kiss the hemisphere goodbye" and the ash cloud would "bring on worldwide nuclear winter". i always figured that LATER in Bart's timeline, it got fully set off somehow?

I LOVE that theory - I totally forgot about all the Yellowstone stuff! It would make so much sense if that was the case and I like the idea of them setting up what could happen if the volcano erupts in s1, then indirectly showing what that destruction looks like with Bart’s future in S2, then further down the line Bart maybe makes a comment that would confirm that the Yellowstone eruption did in fact happen at some point in his timeline… I don’t know if that makes any sense, but basically - I like when we can connect things back through the seasons!

The Cryptid of Gotham Academy!

A personal fav of mine. (Though I love all my ideas) I will give you the og idea I had written and then a little excerpt from what I do have done.

After his family passed away Vlad had taken custody of Danny. Danny transferred to Gotham Academy and he becomes kinda like the 'cryptid' of the school. No one can seem to find him when they want to. He says the craziest things at times which later come true. ice cold to the touch and eyes that glow. He shows no fear of the Ice prince of Gotham. When people do catch a glimpse of him he is either always sleeping or hiding. , He has slept through villain attacks. Word is that his uncle is just as creepy as Danny. Damian is convinced that if Danny isn't already working with the Rogues of Gotham, he will become the next Rogue himself. So he takes it upon himself to investigate Danny Fenton. He didn't expect to get a new brother out of it. Although with Bruce's track record maybe he should have.

When the dust had finally settled, and Batman had taken Two-face off to the police, most of the school crawled out of their hiding spots. Parents and staff slowly one by one came to collect their children. Many of the elite of Gotham sent others out to collect their kids. Not all of them, however. Vlad came out of the woodwork. Damian didn't know Masters had a child. Let alone that they were attending the same school. Although Masters had been in the game a long while he was new to Gotham. He had yet to meet the man. The teacher must have also noticed him because seconds after he showed, the teacher called out.

"Has anyone seen Daniel?" Murmurs broke out amongst the class. No one had seen the boy since second period by the sound of it.

"He's over here!" A student called out, and sure enough in the cabinet sat an unconscious Danny.

"Is he alive?!" Someone called out,

From where he stood in the room he could still hear Masters sigh. Vlad just stepped forward cutting through the students and teachers surrounding Danny. When he reached the boy he crouched down and shook the boy awake. "Come on Danny. It's time to leave."

"It's not 3 yet." The effects of sleep lingered in his voice.

"There was an attack, we are leaving early. "

With a nod, Danny shimmered out of the cabinet and left with Vlad. The second he left, there was an outburst.

"HE SLEPT THROUGH AN ATTACK?"

"Is he fucking crazy?"

"He did WHAT?"

Damian could agree with the sentiments of his classmates ( he would rather die than say that out loud) what concerned him the most was that he didn't know Danny was there. Perhaps it was time he looked into Gotham Academy's newest student.

Do you think the reason the sky is dark and land is ruined in the original timeline is because of nukes? Hear me out, I’m the original timeline the Team and Justice League DIDN’T win. So the governments of the world had to step in (once they figured out the reach is bad) and probably used nuclear weapons. Maybe they had the citizens of their countries hide in bunkers while that happened, so at least some people survived and would later become slaves.

What are your thoughts on this (sorry for the ramble)

Interesting thought… I think that’s certainly possible, I can definitely imagine it happening, though one thing I’d add is that I’m not sure if Neut is supposed to have played a part in causing at least some of the destruction we see. He was literally a walking nuclear weapon under the control of the Reach and pretty much the reason Bart's original timeline became what it did… the flash failed to stop him and he possibly never went off mode like he does in Bloodlines, therefore Neutron likely became a major threat for the heroes - causing way more destruction, maybe even taking out more of the heroes which would lead to the military definitely feeling the need to get involved and that's when you maybe get the using of the nukes. With them, the military would have hoped to take down neutron, but instead probably just destroyed the earth more, reduced the human population and quality of life due to all the consequences that come with nuclear weapons, and ultimatly failed to actually kill neutron, because like we see in bloodlines - he can just regenerate. It would be interesting to know how long neutron remained a bigbad before people discovered he was a weapon controlled by the reach - i can imagine it taking a while and when the truth finally does comes to light - it's too late - the damage has already been done, the reach are in control and humanity has pretty much lost everything… i don't know if that would actually fit with what we do know of barts timeline - which is not a lot - but that my current thinking based off of your thinking anon…

Also, another possibility with the nukes regarding the survival of the human population (if not in bunkers) is that they could have caused more people becoming meta-active and that could have helped those who couldn't escape the nuclear fallout survive… it could also give the reach more test subject to further their understanding and work with the meta gene for their diabolical reasons…

Anyway… those are some thoughts of mine - thanks for sharing yours anon, it definitely makes sense that nukes must have been involved in some way - if not, then i don't really know what could create such bleekness… whatever it is, it would be fascinating to know — GIVE US THE BART FLASHBACKS WE ALL WANT YJ!!!

Danny bit back a sigh from his place on the throne as two young vigilantes fell from a portal in his throneroom. He peered at him through his long white veil as he straitened himself. He knew what to do. He had done this song and dance sixty-two times now and he was about to do it again.

He watched them bicker from the cold floor of his ice castle, something he made from his own ice so that the observants couldn't see or hear what was happening inside or pop in without his explicit permission. Something that angered the nosey creeps to no end. Ah, he's getting lost in his thoughts again. Its time to start the test.

"Why have you come to my Realms mortals?" He felt almost silly calling them that, but it worked in getting the two to stop arguing and pay attention to him. Ah, the younger one has a sword. Cool. Won't help him here, but he gets points for ascetic if nothing else.

"State your names."

"I am Robin!" The smaller one yelled, fierceness of his voice to match the fire in his soul.

The older seemed more hesitant, taking a moment to assess the situation before answering, "I'm Red Robin. Sorry for dropping in so suddenly-"

The younger cut in, needlessly destroying his partners attempt at deescalating the situation, "We were not at fault! A portal opened underneath us and we were transported here!"

Danny knows that. Thats why he was testing them, "Are you saying that fate brought you here?"

Robin looked pleased before confirming.

"Then you shall stay here, as those who enter the Lands of Lazarus are never allowed to leave."

They both bulked, one trying to argue and the other trying to reason with him. Danny tapped his fingers on the armrest of his throne, pretending to think. "I will be merciful and allow one of you to leave. I will allow you a moment to make your choice." Danny barely got his words out before the older one declared that he would stay behind, putting himself between the king and his companion. Good. He passed the test.

He turned his attention back to the younger, "And you are fine with this?" This is the part where the companion adamantly refuses and offers themselves as sacrifice and the two bicker about who will get to sacrifice themselves for the other. The king becomes "moved by thier bond" or whatever and sends them both back to the land of the living.

"Of course! He's useless anyway."

...wat.

The older one made a wounded sound that made his core ache with the need to care and protect. This was not how things were supposed to go. Were ten year olds supposed to be this cruel? At that moment he made an admittedly impulsive decision and sent the child back, keeping the older of the two in the spirit would with him.

Leaving the comfort of his throne he walked down the steps towards the young man, his snowy robes fanning out majestically as his crown of stars bobbed around at his movements, some even going so far as to float around him as if showing off.

"I've made a decision. For this day forth you are my royal advisor." He stated before grabbing the other guys hand and pulling him along down the hall, "You're going to help me rebuild my kingdom from the thousands of years of war and political neglect it has faced. You will aid me in political endeavors as well as help the people in any way you see fit." He paused long enough to open the kitchen door and sit him down at the counter,

"But first, what do you want for lunch?"

Personally I think they should let Bart go up against Batman villains more since I found it hilarious the few times he did.
