his big doleful eyes and violently self-destructive tendencies have captivated me
i want to take a minute to remind everyone that when you stop boosting palestinian voices and information and videos about what’s happening, you are directly aiding the occupation
the occupation is working hard to stifle and silence, through deletion of accounts, blocking whatsapp numbers, jailing and murdering those who speak up, ethnic cleansing and apartheid, assassinating the press, bombing the press buildings, and trying to rewrite the narrative in their favor while they do it with the support of one of the most powerful countries in the world and the help of companies like meta and others
oftentimes, the only way to help is simply by boosting content. by spreading the truth, no matter how big or small your audience is, you are helping immensely
silence, however, only aids the oppressor

_rupi Kaur, fingers
if you’re comfortable with getting suuppeeerrrr up close and personal:
if it’s a person with a dick, grab them by the balls, dig your nails in (or just fingers if you’re like me and your nails are too short), twist your wrist, and yank as hard as you can. leaves them in agony.
or if you’re not:
also, if you can, cup both of your hands and slam them over their ears. if you do it hard enough, it’ll rupture their eardrums, but if it doesn’t, it’ll at least make them lose their balance.
i had to use these on my assailant at my freshman homecoming. i did the ears first, then the dick. worked perfectly, even though it was traumatizing and I still don’t trust men outside of my family and very close inner circle.
last thing:
i don’t remember the source that this tip is from, and i’m paraphrasing, but if a guy (or anyone) puts their hands on you in a way that you’re not comfortable with, tell them, and if they don’t listen, tell them that you’ll break their fingers if they don’t, and if they still don’t listen, grab their middle finger and yank it back as hard as you can. you told them not to, and they didn’t listen. you warned them about exactly what you would do, and they didn’t listen, so you are absolutely at no fault whatsoever for breaking their bones, especially if you have witnesses to the entire thing.

The ending of Francesca mirroring the feeling of a storm to play on the motif of punishment for the lustful being an endless hurricane that sweeps them off their feet only for the vocals to defiantly assert that he would not change a thing and that heaven could not fit such a love anyway, is exactly the kind of deconstructive intertextual brilliance I’m expecting from this album and this is exactly why I want to marry Mr. Hozier for his brain not his body
matthew daddario as alec lightwood is the only fc for azriel i will not be taking any criticism
(when a guy who joined one of your classes three days ago who you literally have never even made eye contact with and stares at you constantly and you don’t know his name and he doesn’t know yours and he’s verbally violent and just gives you budding psychopath vibes writes you a full six page love letter along with an illustration of you and him together)
You don’t own fanfics. They’re inherently public domain because they aren’t your IP. Agree or disagree with AI, there are no grounds for “protection” from AI because it isn’t your IP to begin with. That’s what you chose when you chose this medium
Oh dear.
Okay, you get an answer, because at least you took the effort to write your ask out properly, even if you are hiding behind the grey, sunglassed circle.
Do I, or any fanfic author for that matter, have any legal claims to our work? No, not really, no. (Although if someone took a fic, filed off the serial number--deleted the fandom specific elements--, and then had it published for financial gain, yeah, that would be a case.)

In the middle of the night on March 13, 2020, Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old EMT, was senselessly killed by police as she slept in her own home. Breonna was a daughter, friend, sister, and hero in her community.
Since her death, no one has been charged for her murder. The only semblance of justice that we have seen is the passing of the Breonna Law in Kentucky. But there is still much work to be done to ensure that other innocent people do not continue to lose their lives in the same manner.
Your name will forever be on our minds, in our hearts, and on our lips as we SAY YOUR NAME.
Rest In Power, Breonna 🕊️
