Hot Take: "Gay" and "Straight" should be on the Alignment Chart

Like, "Chaotic Gay" and "Chaotic Straight" are two very distinct things, right? Likewise "Gay Good" and "Straight Good".

This does imply the existence of outer planes with the Straight/Gay aligned trait inhabited by outsiders who are embodiment of Straightness/Gayness.

i love making things for people, no matter what it is. i'm currently making a gift for my colour guard mom for homecoming that's glow in the dark origami stars, a friendship bracelet that also has beads that spell out her name, a letter explaining everything (the colours i chose for the bracelet, the story hehind the stars, etc), and a poem i'm writing for her. everything except the basket it's all in is completely handmade/handwritten, the only thing that was bought was the notebook (one of my school notebooks) that i got the paper for the letter and poem from

my tummy hurts and i can't tell if it's sick hurt or hungry hurt or what but either way i hate it

don’t forget that vegas and pete know each other. and have for years. not well, but they are certainly not strangers. they’ve literally tortured and murdered people together. not that long ago! we saw it! in vivid bloody detail on screen!

i just think maybe that’s important to remember when examining their interactions. terrorizing people is a large part of pete’s job description! not just watching dramas with tankhun and being adorable and very bad at spying. along with all that there is also that time he was ruthlessly stomping that one guy to pulp without so much as a flicker of hesitation and when porsche asked him about it he shrugged and said, “yeah i used to think people were good or bad too. i don’t anymore.”

they aren’t starting from a baseline of naive captive-experienced tormentor. they’re starting from the baseline of both having been the experienced tormentor many times before. so of course there’s understanding! 

what’s unusual (to us, and to vegas) is that pete is kind about it when he doesn’t have to be and has no reason to be. because menace, violence, torture, confinement, humiliation, those are all normal in their world. (are we ready to talk about how porsche’s punishment crawling around the gym for hours was also torture…? no? well.) that’s all in a day’s work. but kindness is not.

so anyway pete has apparently become my favorite character and i’m here to personally defend all of his dark shadows and sharp edges
