jotaro has a keen sense of when to drop one-liners but clearly can never come up with good ones on time, so he tells other people to do it
even when he does come up with something to say they’re just shit like

anytime I stumble upon a fem buggy fanart an angel gains it’s wings
hate to just spawn in like i usually do but i saw this interaction on tiktok (ofc) and i. don’t know if it was common or not?? but we need to clear some things up my dudes.
using an x reader fanfic to have a little bit of fun with it is great, but bringing OTHER people down just because they also like the same character? making fun of a real person? not great.
saw a few people dragging this teenage girl in the comments of a dynamic duo edit (the usual ‘need them so bad’ etc) and this one user went absolutely beserk like “you could never pull them” blah blah blah. that is an INSANELY toxic thing to do and pulling anyone down (especially because of their looks) because of a FICTIONAL CHARACTER?? absolutely barbaric.
x reader is FUN. x reader is also an escape for a lot of people. let’s keep it that way.

the way most of the tiktok and tumblr acts like tim is just coffee addict soft boy who just plays video games and crys🤮IMGONNA KMS
I WANT MY CRAZY TIM BACK PLS
I mean, I agree, lol. There is just this huge misunderstanding in the fandom. Jason, sure, is sarcastic, but he has a dry kind of sarcasm. He’s not the playboy, confident in himself and energetic kind. That’s Roy and Dick.
Tim, sure, is nerdy and in canon has different instances where he’s shown playing table/video games. But that’s not all there is to his personality. Some people seem to forget his unhinged side. The same guy that’s hard to break down because he learned to be self sufficient out of necessity, since everyone he loves dies or abandons him. The same guy who is manipulative, judgmental, and headstrong.
Sure, it’s fanfiction, and everyone can represent him as they wish. There’s a difference, though, between representing your headcanons and perpetually carrying on a flawed fanon interpretation. The latter, in my opinion, has killed Tim’s character. He is not your sunshine kawaii bean; he is an absolute mess of a person who doesn’t handle loss well, overthinks for his life and will probably judge you the first time you two meet.
With that aside, I still love him. In my writing, I try to explore multiple sides of the characters, making them 3D rather than flat 2D individuals. They are neither good nor bad. They are flawed individuals because that’s what humans are. I hope that comes across in my writing, and if you have any suggestions, I’m open to them :)
