"Couldn't we just send a strongly worded letter?"
Illustration of the beginning of High Adventure from Aladdin Broadway featuring Babkak, Omar, and Kassim (my faves). This was something I drew earlier this year as a birthday gift for Brad Weinstock the actor who currently plays Omar :))
The buildings in Agrabah are so much fun to draw, I love em.
I wanna draw some vivosaurs so send me suggestions! Preferably from Fossil Fighters or Fossil Fighters Champions only, I'm not big on Frontiers.
EDIT 1/28: these are closed now sorry friends!
Hidan!!
he's been dancing around in my brain since like april and he won't leave
For the Aladdin request, can you draw another scene from my sequel headcanon?
This is a serious message to everybody reading my update right now. Peace and Love, Peace and Love:
Requests are CLOSED and have been for a while, please do not send any more requests! I have one request left from January, and that is the last one I'm doing.
Commissions (aka paid requests) are a different story, if you'd like to buy some art from me, I'd be happy to draw you something :)
Highlights of my night at Aladdin last night (post show I always go chat with the actors for a bit):
Milo and I wearing almost matching earrings (wearing one dangly earring is queer culture really) and him saying he might make an earring like mine for Kassim (i wear a dangly scimitar sword on a hoop).
Zach telling me I draw his hair perfectly and that he thinks he looks hot in my art (he deserves it).
Brad giving me a big hug and wishing me Happy Birthday (love that king) and thanking me for supporting the show for so long.
The three of them getting excited over my art and asking about how I made it sparkly.
DDR handing me a card as soon as he walked out of the stage door.
Brad Milo and Zach admiring my Agrabah fit and buttons I made. One button said "Ask me about my addiction" with the genie lamp and the other said "honorary Babkak standby" which Zach loved.
Zach losing it over my Babkak Halloween costume I made (that I haven't posted here yet but I guess I should since I'm really proud of it).
Amazing night, always a great time seeing that amazing show AND getting to bring friends along to see it too!
Illustration of Omar in his finale outfit. This is for Brad's birthday tomorrow but I'm posting it here today so you all get to enjoy it first!
After Jafar is defeated, BOK gets to be inducted into the palace to be like Al's advisors and assistants. Omar asks if he gets to be the Royal Choreographer, and he pulls out these bright pink scarves from his pockets to accentuate his candidacy. An icon.
Hi friends! Haven’t been drawing a lot lately cuz I’ve been busy but I’m starting to have more time again and wanted to draw some Aladdin stuff so here’s a Babkak and Omar doodle!! They look annoyed about something idk what
rouge!! i love her so much
Drawing the dungeon is always so fun. Somebody's Got Your Back is one of my favorite numbers just because of how silly it is. Like Al and Genie are having a great time and then BOK are just in the background trying to get free and get their attention.
This time I went, Omar kicked his leg up like trying to get Aladdin which was so funny and Babkak clinked his shackles together along to the song, totally unbothered. I always love watching them in the background.
Babkak in the marketplace. Supposed to be set during Babkak Omar Aladdin Kassim, as shown by the drum.
Babkak Omar Aladdin Kassim is tied with High Adventure for my favorite song in the show, with the former just slightly taking the lead lately. It's so much freaking fun, really gives you the feeling that the Marketplace is a chaotic and bustling spot. And the guys doing their dances all together is such a great time, there's so much to look at on stage.
I decided to include one of my favorite props: what I have dubbed "The Jewelry Pole".
the little gay minifigures from night at the museum because of the new animated movie coming out
owen wilson and steve coogan will always be jed and octavius to me but I'm still excited to see these two in animated form!
(art is from pride month last year)
