The fans can tell when their fav VA is having fun with a character because the VA’s performance seems to dramatically improve when they find it fun. (Not that their voices are bad other time- it’s just clear when you have fun vs not) It can be hard when you voice a character you might not be into and even at your best it can impact your performance. i think this is an important factor when Va’s pick and decide what character rolls they go for. 

This is the reason I try and only voice characters I find fun even though i think it might benefit me to reach a little wider since im just starting out ^^

villains are hard to design. making them ugly is dangerous, depending on what traits you choose to frame as monstrous or undesirable, you could very well end up saying something fatphobic, racist, anti-semitic, etc

but if you make a hot villain then people will get thirsty and demand redemptions and refuse to acknowledge their evil actions, no matter how despicable

I've always been a fan of warlocks and rogues cause they have so much gameplay/rp variety, but I've always wanted to play an artificer. (Though I never really get to play since I'm the designated gm)

It’s really no wonder you got the roll for Ramsey in Epithet Erased then! he has both joker cool uncle energy and when first introduced he got that bad guy vibe as well! it’s like the role was made to be your favorite type of character to play from an outsiders perspective! @bigmovingtarget​

What is your favorite type of character to play? (either in voice acting or in DND- both answers would be enjoyed)

Not surprisingly, villains! I definitely prefer ones that can add some comedy to a scene or are a tad more theatrical mostly because it’s silly fun. Personally, I find those sorts of bad guys to most enjoyable to watch or engage with. However, the brooding, dark “this world is imperfect” type is also an absolute blast to play.

If not the villains, I really enjoy the big brother/cool uncle energy sort of role. Where they’re just there to help people they care about but also some level jokester.

What's your favorite class to play?

i just go with whatever the party needs generally! but my favorite type of class is bard normally because they get away with the most strange things from my experience with DnD.

While I will agree with anyone that says boomer memes are mostly awful... some very notable exceptions to this rule DO exist:

6 Things I learned from OSP’s Miscellaneous Myths Loki episode:

1.) Loki is canonically a beautiful Twink/Femboy.

2.) Despite being considered a male God, he would change species/gender so much it didn’t really matter.

3.) No one actually knows what Loki was the God of and there were no recorded sacrifices in his name unlike any of the other Norse Gods.

4.) Loki didn’t want anything to happen to his Monster Children,(Daughter Hel, Son Fenris, and Serpent Jormungandr), and tried to hide them away until the rest found out.

5.) Despite being a mischievous “Evil in Disposition” God, he usually ends up using said cunning/trickery fixing messes whether or not he caused them. 

He is also just as often used as a scapegoat by the Gods to expunge themselves of guilt for the wrongdoings they commit. Yes Loki causes a lot of mischief, but he receives a disproportionate amount of punishment from his peers. It’s to the point that he’s portrayed as a comparably sympathetic character even in the original text.

5.) If Loki can get mpreg…

…He will get mpregged.

me when my friends . yea

where i live i only do like 2-3 dishes 3 separate times a day and it’s always nice to start something in the microwave and then clean the 2 or 3 dishes and see how fast i can clean them before the timer beeps- then my perfectionism has me double check and clean them perfectly after before my food is cool enough to eat. by the time my food is good to eat everything is clean and i enjoy the cleans.  i also get things like that to clean my room as well like “oh god i have to get back to my pc before they get online!! and clean my room first!! quick clean it all before i get online” and it feels rushed so i won’t inconvenience them. by the time i get online and talk to them i’ve cleaned my room- gotten myself ready for the day (toothbrush used, showered depending on how much time i have, and more) and done various random re-organizing in my room while i wait

A fun way to get yourself to do chores when you have adhd is to simulate a sense of panic by setting horrible deadlines that fit into other things that you’re doing.

For example, you set up a kettle of water to boil for your tea. Quick! Wipe down the whole counter before it’s done boiling, for the love of god you’re running out of time! Wipe it down! The water is almost boiling.

The water is boiling and your counter is clean. Now set your timer for your tea for three minutes and of my god there’s cups in your room! Quick! Get all the cups from everywhere in the house! Run! You’ve only got three minutes! Get all the dishes into the kitchen!

Oh would you look at that. You got all the dishes in the sink and now your tea is ready. Nice. Now you can chill with your tea.

I’ve found that little stuff like that helps me. Forcing myself into unexpected last minute deadlines. It fills up empty space and my house is a little bit cleaner.
